I want acceptance they don't want me
They want me to compromise
This isn't who I am

They're staring right through me
They're speaking to me out of sympathy
They see through my act

No One Questioned the Reek

When behavior they 'then' expressed,
Was not addressed...
But to some questionable?
Those of responsibility could have stood up,
To the plate.
No one did this.
But many bit down to chew!
And...
Instead,
An appreciation for that was shown.
With a bowing to lower eyes and heads.

Mixed signals were sent.
And deceit and devilment...
Were given carte blanche signals,
Not to slow down with caution...
But to move like blinded bulls,
Charging through halls...
Where precious crystal and china were used.
And no one confused a 'no' with a 'go'!

Acceptance Threatens the Status Quo

Small towns aren't the only places...
Where acceptance is regarded,
As difficult as learning a foreign language.
And spoken although despised...
By those noncomformists criticized,
And labelled to provoke...
As mavericks.

Acceptance threatens the status quo.
Those folks choosing to maintain unconditional control...
No matter how low the deceptive use of their tactics.
And...
Innovative are those tactics!

Acceptance fosters maturing as well.
Small minds uncomfortable with this process...
Are generally threatened by growth,
And the affects of all signs of intelligence expressed.

This is as evident as the planting of weeds,

Too convenient has been made a dropping that exists,
Of one's responsibilites on the shoulders of others...
To allow and permit.

Too convenient has it been made,
To do this and dismiss.
And too convenient are agreements,
Deciding to this.
With a leaving those in silence,
If they choose to resist.

Love Is Joy

Love is joy, love is acceptance –
accepting my loved one, in total
acceptance of Rudi, of everything
he does, feels, thinks, I feel joy,
and the most amazing thing is –
he accepts me also! It is beyond
description, how it is possible for
him to accept me as I am? I’ve
been waiting for orders to change,
convinced that sometime I should
become a better person, but Rudi
likes ME, it’s flabbergasting, how
can it be? I thought one should
change to accommodate your
mate, I didn’t know what to change
into, was waiting for directions,

I am a sculpture

I am sculptor and I sculpt all day
To make a man, a corresponding man, resembling those who were first
The zenith brought us light, brought us food
The zenith brought us heartache a broken charm not soothed

Acceptance heals!
A willingness to just let go...
To be a part of a natural process,
Reveals an ability to face the truth...
For what it is and means.
Without the need,
Of foolish protective measures.

Some wish to stop to grow.
To direct with a decision...
To have things go their way.
Blocking the experience of a natural adventure.
As if the ticking of a clock,
Depends on a decision made.

Acceptance: The Last Stage

I tried to deny it and reason
But I could only do so for a season
I could not see past my dreams
It's time to stop to cry and not lament
My idea of our feelings is not set in cement
I'm gonna end the childish screams
I won't fear those words 'just friends'
I'm ready to make amends
They say that acceptance is the last stage
So I'll STAIN mine on this page
I think I'm okay with it now
Don't ask me how
