Cabbages And Beans

Like the dunny door it
simply bangs incessantly
until your patience thins

You can refuse to hear
it if you fry your brains
in oil with vapid apathy

A fear is that it might be
right and sadly true but
then again it might be wind

You’ve clearly had enough
if you accede too meekly
to its patent bullying

This cringing metaphor is
brazenness acclaimed
as an incipient authority

Doubt

To doubt too often deeper doubts succeed,
upon itself it’s self perversely feeds,
sad skeins, dyed grey or black, back interbreed,
and darkly hung, strung cloud mind wrung. Foul weed
whose sole success seems self-destructive need,
whose cancers cluster, to each breast accede.
Nor church, nor sect, nor rosary, nor bead,
successfully may ever intercede
to shrug such shackles so dark doubts recede
unless the mind lets aching heart re[a]d bleed,
and heed pain’s flow, outgrowing grief, concede
that stress-free sojourn can’t be guaranteed...

Terribly Important

I wonder if I’ll be welcome,
and welcomed, in Heaven. I
wonder if Heaven exists, even
as I’ve risen from the font, and
as I accede to Pascal’s reasoning
on behalf of a faithful wager. How
would I like to be welcomed there?
What a question. The answer is
I must not care-meaning I’d like
the welcome not to be anything
I might have predicted. Heaven
must be a wonderful surprise,
a way of being so different

Spring's Arrival

Only smile is there
It does not take me anywhere
I shall be sad and feel hurt
When she is seen around but not to flirt

Not sure of what is in her mind
I shall never try to find
She must read me honestly
I am no more man for her to be likely

When she says 'no thought of love'
I have nothing to accede but to believe
It is such a confession of love on face
That may be her assertion in such case

I must content with whatever she says
This can be takes as parting ways

My Beloved's Ardor

One day, not so long since passed, I heard those words, three-
I knew then and there, I had gained my beloved's ardor, truly!
It is I that she doth adore, she did share with me, the same;
As my heart surely hath been thieved-so too her's-I, amorously to blame!
Sikerly I know what the proffer of her heart doth truly mean-
To covet and honor this calling shall I; No finer glory hath my mind's eye e'er seen!

Two worlds of wonder, each universally unique,
Hath once again come together and do seek
What assuredly is the solitary mate for each other's soul,
Looking to reunite with their hearts, which the other stole!

I have seen and do attest to its Empyrean truth;
To agnize like, you need not seek attestation nor even sleuth!

As water seeks its own level, so too doth love, indeed;
Once a love's true compeer hath been met, it must accede!

Love by heart

If someone loves you by heart
Then it may remain so till the last
Whether you hide it by putting mast
Or bear grudge by raising doubt’s cast

That level may never recede
Even if you agree or totally accede
It is some sort of one time affair
To hold it last is really nice and fair

You may long to see each other
The storm might have been long withered
The ripples may still rise at some level
You may miss it even if try to excel

That is how love in life is evaluated
Where you are or suitably situated
Its importance is never equated
It is not uttered or any where related

I Refuse

I refuse to agree, to any law or decree
That takes away from who I am,
I will always profess, that I will not say yes
Which takes away my beliefs or how I stand.
I will fight till the end, so you can comprehend
To the matters in which that I speak and say,
And I will never accept, to deeds I would reject
Knowing later for forgiveness to GOD I would pray.
I will never say no, to the truth that I know
When that answer must be yes,
I will never tell that lie, as if I did my pride would die
Then to GOD that lie to him I would confess.
Never will I speak, words that will make me weak
No matter who you think you might be,
I don’t care to stand alone, as a lie I wont condone
As you can be you but I will always be me.
I will never give my consent, or never will I repent
From any matters that I will not accede,
I wont hang my head in shame, I wont live in that pain
And If its not the truth; then I will never agree.
