Adored Absentee

During your respite,
I've done my best not to succumb
to the full-body furry of alcohol's savagery.
Still, on occasion, I must admit,
at times when my mind's eye is in need of rest,
I toast with friends and family.

Day and night, I envisage your face, your waist,
your gossamer flesh, pliant and curvaceous form,
and my eyes are forced to retreat at the twinge of
silver tipped rose-thorns.

In gatherings of company, I tend to
block out the utterances of others, too
busy searching my mental recordings,
trying to recreate and replay your voice of
fallen rainwater and rose quartz
and my ears are eventually
driven toward madness by the mournful
chime of crying cicadas.

Samson and Delilah

The English Literature teacher called him to the Black-board
Who's a regular absentee for every fortnight test.
'Samson write three sentences using the word 'go'.'
He took a piece of chalk and wrote.
1.I go
2.You go
3.We go
'That's incomplete and where do they go? ' Teacher questioned.
'That's my dilemma too.' He replied.

I Hope You Dream Of Me

As your day passes by,
Without a single thought of me.
Not a memory of the heart,
You would rather let it be.

Of all the things that come to mind,
I am an absentee.
But when the night falls on you,
I hope you dream of me.

I hope you see me with you,
I hope emotions flow.
I hope you wake up crying,
Because you miss me so.

So as the days go on by,
And it's me you do not see.
When night comes and you sleep,
I hope you dream of me.

Chump

He believes in magic,
something that's not real.
An egocentric plastic man,
a life led to be surreal.

He drowns himself in-
his narcissistic heart,
a cold dark abyss,
where loneliness rips him apart.

An excellent array of apathy,
absentee from all social connection,
a phantom based identity,
he's the ideal imperfection.

Ignorant to universal morals,
he may just be dumb,
though he lives his own life,
all he is, is a chump.

Remind Me

Always the reminder is in the head,
We compel others to the taste of downstairs;
The underground world beckons the followers
Of an absentee, this sense is called nonsense.
Why do we clearly reveal secrets to those above?
My accusations absorbed by the real one
Exact vengeance on the real people who relax.
May we diversify this bridge of speed,
The forging of the wandering few commands us.
Let a remembrance be grand, and over us
A certain collection for the addressed.

Go Out And Have Yourself A Ball

Isn't it easy to accuse someone,
Who is relied upon to be accountable...
For abandoning those that take their own irresponsibility,
As belonging to the one they take for granted!
While declaing that person to play...
The role of the absentee father.

Trust me...
This will be therapy!

My advice to this 'cinderella'?
Go out and have yourself a ball.
You can not live everyone else's life.
And ignore your own.
Although you will be declared guilty,
If you decide to make such an attempt.
