A Will to Unit Venus and Mars
I have decided to make my will and leave everything that I have to myself.
Mars is scheduled to come on August 27, to stay within 34.65 miles of earth,
Then he shall only return in 2287, by then I might be ready to rebirth,
As for 280 years shall be well enough for two lives thenceforth,
For which I shall save all that I have, as they say I am from Venus,
After all that travelling I shall be back around Earth for Mars to nest our hearth.
I will leave all my poems, love letters and everything else,
All the feelings I have, and all the secrets I have shared,
Please save them to yourself, as for I shall come back to collect.
Don’t waste any time crying as I know time is rare nowadays,
Just go rush and be aware that I won’t have a penny to spare,
I shall save everything for myself because I won’t waste a day,
On August 27 I shall be here ready for Mars,
and on 2,287, back again for we shall have our MAR GRASS.

Elijah the Prophet
Elijah - the Lord of storms,
Dew, hail, rain and thunder,
Today rides a chariot.
The Prophet with an effort
Breathe the autumn.
The days are shorter
The nights are longer
Warm days linger.
Two hours Elijah has taken.

Laying Back - Parody Harry Graham - Ruthless Rhymes
Laying Back
Squire Squint, swatting a mosquito,
missed the pest but slipped a disc, -
discomfort followed and a veto
from Doctor Best for reckless risk.
21 July 2006 Parody Harry GRAHAM Ruthless Rhymes
Sitting Duck
Squire Squint, banging at a pheasant,
pranged, instead, a sitting duck, -
Said he, “It is a bit unpleasant
for hitting peasant to come unstuck ! ”

turned tail, - but ‘tis the bull at present
frames the ears, keeps leg to pull!

AUGUST THE 7th
In our cacoon
Of solitude
And a promising future
Came a BEAST
Some say from the east
Its origin
And mission
Was cloudy like mist
No one could visualize
But its effect
Will forever be in our minds
August the 7th
Was our waterloo
But we can’t overlook
What it taught us
Cause in the defeat
We came up victorious
We rose from our sleep
And turned vigilant
For

August 05
M) The month of August
In the summer of 2005
In June I turned 18
My best friend moved back in state
In April I got a girlfriend since our first date
I met her last August
Later that year went to dust
H) I received a call on a hot summer day
The mood went a different way
She sounded like she cried
Like someone or something died
M) We started to change
Said I had become strange
We started to change
Hands against the wall
H) You wanted to escape
Cried, a victim of rape

Do Not Ask
Don’t remind the August sky
how you used to love July,
and even if you should remember
August skies when it’s September,
don’t brood on them, for they have gone,
and you should only dwell upon
the skies that you see now above.
It’s just the same, of course, with love;
what love you may have lost is not
what you should think of, hot to trot
with someone new who takes your fancy.
It’s not a sign of sycophancy
to tell her that you’ve never seen
a girl more beautiful, or been
more happy than you are with her.
Forget the past which, de rigueur,
is just the past, and don’t see shrouds
in skies where there are sometimes clouds.
What's past you must forget and bury;
look up, ahead and now be merry!

August The Thirtieth
The sky overcast the rain comes down in drizzle August the thirtieth the date of today
This time tomorrow yes this time tomorrow Spring will be just a few hours away
Some birds are nest building others on their eggs sitting male magpie is piping on the stringybark tree
At this time of year he attacks without warning even humans who venture near his territory.
The clock on the Winter is ticking and ticking time on anyone or anything does not wait
Fragile pink blossoms on the fruit trees in the garden such things of beauty that Nature create
Spring brings her youth to this Southern Country spreading her greenery everywhere she goes
Wildflowers by the creek are coming to bloom now pink on the buds amongst the thorns of the rose
August the thirtieth the Winter is dying Spring is a beautiful time of the year
White flowers in clusters amongst the pittosporums the flute of the butcherbird pleasant to hear
Everyday nearer to bloom and to sunshine the year one might say fast aproaching it's prime
Winter is dying the year's coldest Season Spring brings her green with her fresh and warm clime.
August the thirtieth the second last day of the Winter rain fall in drizzle from an overcast sky
Pink flowers are fading upon the camellias blooms of the Winter in early Spring die
The Goddess of Spring she is quickly approaching over the cliffs of the southern bay
On this time tomorrow from this Southern Country she will be only a few hours away.

Kiss Met Kismet - After Austin Dobson A Kiss and James Leigh Hunt Jenny Kissed Me
In seduction I lack
not one whit in the sack,
making pass I attack
Jenny's tongue tied and, thwack!
she kissed me right back
like that, without sorrow,
and a pat on the back
seemed to show on right track
was my rapid clic-clac.
Yet at dawn on the morrow
she hastened to pack
and the taxi fare borrow
though I'd thought myself crack
minglling tongue tastes, alack...
tingling young hastes allegro!
revised 11 March 2012 after Austin Dobson A Kiss and James Leigh Hunt Jenny Kissed Me for previous versions see below

not one whit in the sack,
in the ‘Ars' I've a knack
