Quotes about limp, page 4
Censure is a limp noodle across the wrist of the president. I think the way we vote on the articles will express the way we feel stronger than any censure vote.

I cried when I found out I was a finalist, I kind of went limp when they called my name. I felt like my spirit jumped out of my body, and I was just flesh - it was just amazing.

Woman’s Climax
Woman’s climax is when her limbs go limp,
Eyes close, lips part, bashfulness disappears
And she takes him deeper inside her.
If man fails her he’ll feel shy to see her.

Improvisations: Light And Snow: 14
Like an old tree uprooted by the wind
And flung down cruelly
With roots bared to the sun and stars
And limp leaves brought to earth —
Torn from its house —
So do I seem to myself
When you have left me.

Live And Die
People Live
And then they die.
People Talk
and then they go shy.
People Trip
and then they go limp.
People Drink
and then they drive.
People Smoke
and say their goodbyes.
People Live
and then they die.

drains
from her

I'd get more applause than some because I was just seventeen. If they didn't clap at the end of my act I would limp off stage and boy would they feel guilty. They would all burst into tremendous applause as they saw this poor cripple kid walking off.

When She Tiptoed
when she tiptoed
she was inside her locked room
when she tiptoed and danced the ballet
she was inside her locked room & she closed all the windows
outside the world sees her as a limp
and she likes it that way
she is the princess of hypocrisy.

Sadie Says
Perhaps it's true
perhaps it's not
we'll never know
if it's the reason
Sadie sleeps
till noon each day
then with her limp
walks to the beach
to feed wild cats
but never a dog
because Sadie says
everyone knows
cats are poetry
dogs are prose.
