Quotes about exhaust, page 4
False Cake Piece
like a candy wrapper
thrown into
the unsuspecting wind
I feel a nervousness,
a sense of weakness
drill themselves
onto my unwanted bones
like a constant ghost train
that grinds timelessness
you exhaust me
a lamp with betraying warmth,
you are a foul, false cake piece

Yeah, I think we have to. If we want our shows to be - if we want the quality of the shows to be good, and we want the energy to be high, and if we want to be in good enough physical shape to do them, and not exhaust ourselves on the road, and not get stale, we have to pace.

Rotated
The one chasing
Like a captor after prey...
Is only in it for the hunt,
Like one on the prowl...
Seeking to exhaust a fresh stunt,
Used to amuse
And display in play.
Although obvious and tired,
Are tactics employed...
No one can tell the one hunting,
Actions rotated are actions that annoy.

A Conflict
Deep darkness fears me at night,
Sable thoughts surround me tight,
Run I to the dark corners to escape,
Wrestle against inner self and fight,
The conflicting struggle continues,
Till I exhaust and lose the might,
The next day recovers me again,
And the night brings the same plight.

2: 55 A.m.
at this hour
the exhaust fan of the computer
sounds loudest
second to that
is the murmur of each key
as i press upon
a letter
to make this
waking poem
make
its faintest sound
it is like
the sigh of the pin
dropping
on the carpeted
floor
of an empty room

I believe that the great Creator has put ores and oil on this earth to give us a breathing spell. As we exhaust them, we must be prepared to fall back on our farms, which is God

Chris Cooper once told me to never have any regrets. After Chris said that to me, I walk into every scene thinking, 'exhaust every possibility.' Once you get to a certain place, it's like you just deliver everything you've got. Don't have any regrets. It pops up in my mind over and over and over again.

Bewteen You and Me: I
An abstract evening
Lungs drew in
The smell of dusk:
Vehicular exhaust
Fuming oil
And extra brewed tea too
On the side walk
You allowed me to hold your hand
We jumped from one side walk to the other
Won't you hold mine, I asked
But I allowed you to hold mine...
You replied contemplating
Your next step...

Utility Cars
Utility Cars
Ambulance’s light flashing,
and blue is the night.
Leaves behind an odour of
suffering and exhaust.
The fire engine cut holes in
the boredom of the day.
Leaves behind a memory of
yesteryear’s dreams.
Yellow light flashed in
the jaded afternoon.
A tow truck is an uplifting sight
for a frustrated driver.

My blue bike thunders below me
My blue bike thunders
below me
and cars and trucks
flashes by.
It’s a hot day with an open blue sky
and nowhere there’s a cloud
to be seen
and the warm wind brushes my hair.
The smell of the grass, petrol,
exhaust fumes and tar
rises around me,
but I am free
and the bike catches some speed
and the road stretches out
in front of me.
