Quotes about yelp, page 3

To good loving homes!

A rare male and a female Labrador mix,
59 & 56 years old.
No licensed at all.
Copper color, great personality and pedigree.
De-wormed and tails totally removed
And both could sing & dance well.
Spend few dollars to a good loving home!
* [ This is not an advertisement.]
she cooks tasty food with all the ingredients
and I am an old scribbler, public utility and capable to do cleaning the utensils,
Night time preferable as one Master's Watchdog!
And I give the assurance of my strong Yelp!

To my sailor friend oskar!

You... Now!

you are... now,
the small fire built
'neath a tree in the rain,
the song of the whipporwill.
the dirty faced little girl
playing down in the barn,
the milk cow butchered
to face the winter.
the gurgle of the stream,
the whisper of branches bare.
the taste of blood
on the tip of the tongue.
the yelp of love,
the stink of hunger.
the cup held out,
and the hand that pours.
the howl of the wind,
the arch of the back.
the mouth of desire,
and the holy whore.

The Poem Of An Angel

An Angel watches
An Angel Cries
His charges change
His charge dies
He cant help
He cant interfere
He lets out a yelp
That no one can hear
He is invisible to all
No one knows hes there
They cant hear him call
It shows that for him, no one cares
Leave this pain
Leave this game
You have all to gain
Why face them with shame?
They dont love you
They never have or will
You dont know what to do
Which part of you do you kill?

Blue Desert

hillocks molded ancient streams
(we stay on the trail)
at night blue is black
scorpions under the moon are not
i pick up one that curls
and stings me with old words
yelp and holler
the petrified woods ablaze
frozen in the flood of time
down some of those ancient streams
(they are dimly red)
holding clues to new life
and forgotten words

writing was always there
squeezed between flower and rock
and the men who came before us
saw the same hillocks
sharper in their time
touched the same poisons

Love A Duck

Mammy duck leaves the bank,
Baby ducks follow plop plop,
Daddy duck rear guard
Safe from the predators.
Sadly the little ones are
Easy pickings for the eels,
Grow little ones grow very fast,
Then you will be too big for the eels grasp.
Black swans arrive with six white little ones
At the spot where they all look for crumbs,
My poodle Beau goes close for a sniff
A black flying swan flies out, whoosh goes biff.
Beau scurries off with a really loud yelp
To run in between my legs for human help,
No more going near baby swans with daddy around
He will stick to spraying trees it’s safer he’s found.

An honest plea from a scribbler to survive

Time has come to beg it seems
And I am sorry that I do not know the know-how.
Poor wife and myself entangled in a political asylum case here.
Money! Money! Money! Dogs never sniff that I know but I need a lump some for the Solicitor who look after us.
I have altogether 800 scribblings the only wealth I own
And if a philanthropist would like to have a kind word with me,
Herewith I submit my curriculum-vitae please.

The tearful human machines in the unscrupulous capitalist factory

The bourgeoisie weary ordeal human skeletons entangle in the cast iron wheels.
The profiteer squeezes their testicle and ovum.
Crush their Marrow less bones, Wisdom and Courage et cetera.
The output of thousands major products as same as by-products (ammunition) send for the market?
The Non-stop black smoke with soot from the factory's chimney top,
Poor fellows' dreams blow into the helpless sky and pollute;
The pure nature too quiet as an Owl of this cruel Monopoly.
And the stinking Sweatshop seems to be long-lived in this tyranny World.

I dedicate this poem to the humbug Mushroom Organizations that yelp of human rights.

Sonnet: Save your Soul

The greatest too one day crash down to earth;
The lowest ones have joys, grief much the same;
Just few have silver spoon in mouth at birth;
A peaceful, virtuous life must be our aim.

No monument on earth can fetch heaven;
No wax-figures in halls of fame will help;
Death makes all creatures, high and low even;
It does not matter if dogs bite or yelp!

The state of soul is primary to God;
All sinners must repent and make amends;
The Lord decides one’s celestial rewards;
To earthly wants, God always still attends.

No edifice, name, fame forever stands;
The good we do enlists us in God’s bands!

Close The Door

I didn't need an extra shove from above
to push me further down life's slide.
I've been going that way for many a day,
and I've tried to stop the ride.

Make no mistake I've tried the brake,
but I'm still going rapidly down.
I'm afraid it's much too late to elucidate,
and I don't need advice from someone nice.

You may well think I don't deserve to sink
to the depths of my tortured soul,
but I have been bad and now the reapers mad,
he wants my whole for the price of his toll.

So when I scream and yelp, and cry for help,
and it seems I'm in a nightmare or dream,
just say goodbye and that I deserved to die.
Close the door and do nothing more.

Suspicious Mind

the five dogs
are barking again
against the fence
towards the
road
someone is coming
someone
evil
someone destructive
of your palace of peace
your haven of love
your portal
of insanity
someone as paranoid
as the black knight
of the night
the angel of death
the prince of sorrow
the king of maladies
the queen of deception
