Quotes about subsistence, page 3
Introspective Peek
Arrogance to me gets ascribed
for no desire I have to confront
I would rather accept the back seat
and let other drive in front
Title acquisitive is conferred
for my many an ulterior design
With warped my own subsistence
other's I still try and align
Does it really matter
with what perspective one is deemed
For some may call it callous
another benefaction redeemed

Rewind
Sitting all by myself
with subsistence on a momentary hold
Could feel the bygone brush past
and start itself to unfold
The life seemed full of fantasy,
a surrealistic make believe
Naivety fuelled convictions
which improbable were to achieve
How quickly all slips by,
near the end of the one's arduous trudge
Past blames are viewed differently
and own follies we fairly adjudge

Macabre In Breaths
Such forlorn hope
Falls in the red soil
With the crumbs of your
Porcelains, gnawing with
The tautly grinding maw
The disdain and angst
Molding more disdain
In this nihilistic scarcity
Of waters to tread
The filth glistened
In the crimson drought
Like a puked bile
Reminiscent of the shattered
Face of oblivious thrills
The serrated silence
In holding breaths
Underwater,
Under abeyance
A purveyance
For subsistence.

Crossroads
Current securities are inhibiting
the transition to the next domain
Where creativity has it's hallmark
with subsistence devoid of strain
What exists needs discarding
in search of prospective delight
Dark it may appear fleetingly
but guess the end would shine bright
Neither would be the first
and most definitely not the last
The one chasing dreams anew
which with bygone are in utter contrast

Verse Pensive
Abridging gifts benign of sensing,
beholding and ability to touch
To encapsulate NOW in eternity
to be reminisced in future as such
No beginning at the onset
or with any intent of putting it to an end
Chronicling facets as memoires
the ponderings casually penned
Subsistence of indulgent monotony
at some stage eventually abate
In favor of free spirited wander
in a blissful and charismatic state

Cows In Art Class
good weather
is like
good women-
it doesn't always happen
and when it does
it doesn't
always last.
man is
more stable:
if he's bad
there's more chance
he'll stay that way,
or if he's good
he might hang
on,
but a woman
is changed
by
children
age

Someone Somewhere
Where each subliminal moment is
awaited in anticipated glee
For it to be captured eternally,
lest quickly if it tried to flee
The silence speaks unspoken
the unsaid is what's heard
Congruent are most nuances,
comprehended without a word
Points are never proven or
bartered for in give and take
It is all about subsistence and
how cheery the other you make
The element of surprise,
has eluded for a little overly long

The Craving
Blinkered kind were subsistence
not seeking what lay ahead
Most results were as expected
hence nonchalantly always tread
Now challenge seems defeated
and mislaid the past enthrall
Must unearth newer stimulants,
with fresh gusto those install
Testing are the prospects
for the final bow and having to part
Leaving a near way of life
to an unpredictable fresh start
Forever chased rainbows,
it is time now to discover and find

Sojourn's Story
Some rhyme spar[e] time, numb, lily-liver,
purple prose sketch out, consistence
tantamount to stretch subsistence
insisting others praise deliver,
irrelevancies etch where? whither?
Swallowed soul-sale spent existence
both for dawdlers and persistence,
memories drown in Lethe's river,
harsh taskmaster, fair forgiver
folded tents, short reminiscence,
man's marathon: unfinished distance.
Worthless word worlds spurned, urned, wither.
Sojourn's story scarcely started
Sinks, last gasper final farted.

A Point of View
Insatiable the quest to chronicle,
what life so far has brought
Time plays role pivotal,
when intricacies are being taught
While feeling perceptively worn out
and on the intellectual end
The new facets get revealed
which in atypical direction extend
No medium or any mystic can proffer
a cure for the elusive bliss
Don't let vivacity and the sparkle
from subsistence to go amiss
Reality at times is daunting
preventing one to deem otherwise
