Taking the Leap (For Tara & Ez)

Love has such a great way of growing
Often by leaps and bounds lovers say
Loving hearts have a way of knowing
When to decide on a Wedding Day

So Leap year is really quite fitting
Extra special to happen this way
Leaping hearts fluttering and flitting
With joy heading to a Wedding Day

Love does not tell time by a clock face
Calendar neither holds any sway
Love moves on at hearts very own pace
So do two hearts chose a Wedding Day

Enjoy all the moments that will come
There’s not really much more I need say
Two hearts are rejoicing in one home
Having heart-picked their own Wedding Day

Quick To Leap

Lost!
Those people spreading evil,
Are lost!
And people feeding deceit,
Are lost!
And those quick to leap,
On gossip heard in streets...
Are lost!

Those people spreading evil,
Are lost!
And people feeding deceit,
Are lost!
And those quick to leap,
On gossip heard in streets...
There's no reason for a people to be eating anything late,
Like a baked cake.
There's no reason for a people to be eating anything late,
Like a baked cake.

Boyng! Boyng!

As it jumped across the ground it went boyng! boyng!
its pace was fast and its leap was long.
The creature grinned as it passed me by
with its hands in its pocket it jumped so high.
It wasn’t long before it disappeared from view,
but then I could hear the boyng! boyng! of two.

As they jumped across the ground they went boyng! boyng!
their pace was fast and their leap was long.
The creatures grinned as they passed me by
with their hands in their pockets they jumped so high.
It wasn’t long before they had disappeared from view,
but then I could hear the boyng! boyng! of many more than two.

As they jumped across the ground they went boyng! boyng!
their pace was fast and their leap was long.
The creatures grinned as they passed me by
with their hands in their pockets they jumped so high.
It wasn’t long before they had disappeared from view
and that was the last time I heard the boyng! boyng! of the kangaroo.

Eve Of a Crossroads Approaching

We're at the eve of a crossroads approaching.
Those who are ready in their minds,
Know!

We're at the pinnacle where good meets evil.
Some recognize this.
Some will deny this.

We're at the eve of a crossroads approaching.
Those who are ready in their minds,
Know!

We're at the pinnacle where good meets evil.
Some recognize this.
Some will deny this.

Faith and belief...
Have kept some people,
Freed of grief...
To leap and leave.

Sneak a Little Lick

Don't...just...
Fuzzy up and cuddle on a peach.
Or sneak up peeping,
When you should be eating!
Every single piece of it!

You can...
Leap up and down behind the scenes.
Screaming about your future,
And...
Destiny!

But don't...
Sneak a little lick,
Then leave.
Don't you,
Sneak a little lick,
Then leave!
Don't,
Sneak a little lick.

Getting Over Bumps And Humps

Getting over bumps and humps...
Is not easy.
Taking a leap that's jumped...
With a wish pushed done by winds.

Getting over bumps and humps...
Is not easy.
For the one who seeks to see,
All their needs pleased.

Getting over bumps and humps...
Is not easy.
Taking a leap that's jumped...
With a wish pushed done by winds.

Getting over bumps and humps...
Is not easy.
For the one who seeks to see,
All their needs pleased.

The Three Singers To Young Blood

Carols nature, counsel men.
Different notes as rook from wren
Hear we when our steps begin,
And the choice is cast within,
Where a robber raven's tale
Urges passion's nightingale.

Hark to the three. Chimed they in one,
Life were music of the sun.
Liquid first, and then the caw,
Then the cry that knows not law.

I

As the birds do, so do we,
Bill our mate, and choose our tree.
Swift to building work addressed,
Any straw will help a nest.
Mates are warm, and this is truth,
Glad the young that come of youth.

What is Hope?

Never was a larger word
than Hope;
all dreams reside there;

In the Future,
resides our desires laid bare;
our Now wants to go there
our Past wants to be washed away
or celebrate there-
inside Hope's Cathedral.

Hope is the Promised Land.
both Means
and Destination.

But, what good does Hope do
if it goes away
after
what we hope for comes true?

The Sun Wields Mercy

and the sun wields mercy
but like a jet torch carried to high,
and the jets whip across its sight
and rockets leap like toads,
and the boys get out the maps
and pin-cushion the moon,
old green cheese,
no life there but too much on earth:
our unwashed India boys
crossing their legs,playing pipes,
starving with sucked in bellies,
watching the snakes volute
like beautiful women in the hungry air;
the rockets leap,
the rockets leap like hares,
clearing clump and dog
replacing out-dated bullets;
the Chinese still carve
in jade,quietly stuffing rice
into their hunger, a hunger

Sappho - A Monodrama

Argument.

To leap from the promontory of LEUCADIA was believed by the Greeks to be
a remedy for hopeless love, if the self-devoted victim escaped with
life. Artemisia lost her life in the dangerous experiment: and Sappho is
said thus to have perished, in attempting to cure her passion for Phaon.

SAPPHO

(Scene the promontory of Leucadia.)

This is the spot:--'tis here Tradition says
That hopeless Love from this high towering rock
Leaps headlong to Oblivion or to Death.
Oh 'tis a giddy height! my dizzy head
Swims at the precipice--'tis death to fall!

Lie still, thou coward heart! this is no time
To shake with thy strong throbs the frame convuls'd.
