Hug O'War
I will not play at tug o' war.
I'd rather play at hug o' war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

Where To? ......
the skin of my neck
is tight
and my C5
and C4
are not that passable
and neurons
are working hard
it feels like a rope
and people talk
and i am not listening
i don't understand
what next to do,
and the Cheshire cat
grins
and says
'does it really matter? '

The Way Of Tyrants
The Way of Tyrants (Tanka)
Red nosed circus clowns
Behind mad grins… hate the laugher
As with dictators
In absurd fantasy uniforms
We hoot only when they fall.
Tyrant in his cave
Resentfully reflects on life
Western big shots came
Ate roasted lambs in his tent
How could he be so gullible?

God
One says there is ‘NO’ God
One shows the skies
And says ‘YES’
And jokes one clever modern
“I WISH He is there”
As one who’s neither a Leftist
Nor a Rightist
Nor even a go-in-between
I visualize
In every YES, NO, WISH and CONFUSION
His visage with glowing beams
And mocking grins

Best Sellers
‘Five steps to success! ’
‘Become a millionaire
In just ten days! ’
‘A complete repertoire
Of mind powers! ! ! ’
Juicy titles! !
People buy
Spilling dollars
Read them
And throw them
Publisher announces
“Million copies sold”
The author grins
“I told you
It's easy to find
A million fools”

Proceed With Caution
The storm swept away
Straying camouflaged reminders
Of coverups and rusting grins.
A full cleansing has taken place
And those once trusted proceed with caution.
Too afraid their absence of integrity
Will leave their yachts to land against the rocks.
To expose their cargo of hoodwinkers, crooks...
And other fleeing, high powered crying snots!

A Meeting in A Part
In a dream I meet
my dead friend. He has,
I know, gone long and far,
and yet he is the same
for the dead are changeless.
They grow no older.
It is I who have changed,
grown strange to what I was.
Yet I, the changed one,
ask: "How you been?"
He grins and looks at me.
"I been eating peaches
off some mighty fine trees."

Match maker- monsoon! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
His curly hair wet, drip
After a shower from the skies;
Takes shelter under a bridge.
A girl halts the car,
Will you give me lift?
I live close by, she grins…
Come on, hop in
Where is your rain gear?
She asked as she steeered.
Exchange a look
Then look away.
Trees sway...
Will you come for coffee
Or is someone waiting for you?
Hurriedly, no nobody.

Day to Day
We wake up every morning with this balance
and walk around all day with falsey grins
We look up every moment for the good things
and dance around when happiness begins
Then good things run away before the darkness
and breaking things looks better than before
Then hopeful thoughts are crushed into the nether
and less the likely happens like the chore

Sonnet 14
The crowd cheers on again
I see you smiling at me
It feels like it never ends
Yet this you'll never see
A smile on the outside
The frown from within
The show goes on no deny
While the lonely heart grins
It's a living we all must do
Yet nobody can even detect
The feelings deep and true
A heart you can only reject
And now we take our places
Live for those happy faces
