Hes pleased to meet you underneath the horse
In the cathedral with the glass stained black
Singing sweet high notes that echo back
To destroy their master
May be a long time til you get the call-up
But its sure as fate and hard as your luck
No onell know where you are

Kept Waiting!

White billows and huge waves block the river crossing;
Wherever I go, danger and difficulty; whatever I do, failure.
Just as in my worldly career I wander and lose the road,
So when I come to the river crossing, I am stopped by contrary winds.
Of fishes and prawns sodden in the rain, the smell fills my nostrils;
With the stings of insects that come with the fog, my whole body is sore.

Love and a Star Crossing

There is a star crossing in the sky
I'm deeply in love with you and that no lie
that means that no day could be ordinary and go by
and true love never has a goodbye

Our lives changed from here on
we now have laughter love and fun
we are filled with happiness and the warmth of the sun
for in love we now are one

Baby come lay with me under a star filled sky
and we will watch a star crossing go by
while I read poems to you a little shy
and slowly watch a new day arrive, in a brilliant orange sky

Man’s best friends as crossing guards

The ashy dust settled gracefully
On the blue flame
While the supersonic train walked slowly
As if a glamorous fashion show was taken place
At the behest of the anorexic supermodel
Who got tripped on the narrow one way.

Like a thin thread, the man-made centipede
Waned effortlessly
Before acquainting
The passengers who stood perplexed
Despite the ken of the speed
Of this incredible flying machine.

Not too far from the kiosk of the train station
Two dogs came running like crossing guards
To stop two shy lads playing hooky
From crossing the dangerous tracks.
