I've Got Joy

Deeper than the deepest of Oceans
Higher than the heavens from the Earth
Wider than the widest of all
Yet not out of reach, available to all.

Available to pick me up when I fall
To wipe my tears away
And shower my heart with Peace and joy
Overwhelming my inner-man with calmness.

Like a river joy in my heart flows
Not bowing to the season of the barren.
You've become my closest companion
All for the for the sacrifice made on the Cross.

Now I can afford to sing;
'I've got Joy like a river in my soul'
'I've got Joy that no man can give'.
Inexhaustible Joy flows within me all 'cos of YOU.

Lonely Days

Woke up this morning early
and switched my computer on.
Messenger came up on the screen
and it showed I was available to chat,
but no one wanted to chat to me.
Several friends were available
and I waited and hoped to see
that one of them might want a chat with me.
Sadly none of them did.
So I sat and played a couple of games
and watched the hours pass slowly away.
Only junk mail came into my inbox,
but no messages from my friends.
It seemed no one wanted to speak to me.
I got on and did some work I had to do
and started to feel forgotten, asking myself
where had all my friends had gone.
Maybe tomorrow or the day after that
someone might remember me and want a chat,
but I am not going to hold my breath on that.

Singing In Duet

Available but feeling like a soloist,
To go it alone.
With a duet gone.

Wanting to believe there is a harmony,
And hearing a hum.
From a duet done.

I wont give up wishing to be holding hands,
With that special one...
Who comes,
To hum and sings...
With me,
'We are together and forever.'
Singing in duet.
And happily as can be.

Reality For What It Is

You want a job?

Wake up to face reality for what it is!
There are plenty positions still available.

And once you have accepted,
To become trained successfully...
Volunteer for the overtime.
There will be plenty of it.
Since many will find it too stressful,
To have their pre-occupied minds...
Already set on entitlements.
And two week vacations.
Without working to earn their first cent.

You want a job?

I'm Finding Time to Make More Of It Mine

No reasons do I have left,
To express an accessibility.
Nor are my ears available,
For empathetic listening.

I'm finding time to make more of it mine.

Patience I have no more,
To explore avenues to be of assistance.
I make sure I am distanced.
My own needs will no longer be ignored.

I've learned if others are aware you are there...
For them to dropp whatever they wish.
They will do it.
Like a habit done that has been approved!

I've learned from some enough can't be done!

And forget needing them.

to kill,
killing is not at all times

self-defense for instance

Feeding On Evil

The creating of rivalries that eventually leave,
People improverished...
Builds up feelings of being superior,
And strengthens mental securities...
Of those with low self esteem,
Who practice with weapons to destroy human beings.

Those with thoughts like this,
Are no different than a cancer allow to grow.
Even though the cures to relieve these agonies,
Have long been made available.
But fear has it advantages,
To benefit the ones unconscious.

It's in the advertising of good hype,
That keeps people supporting...
The creation of fears and misdeeds,
With beliefs those of deceit and greed...

God’s Peace

There is a peace available, in troubled times, but not to all,
A peace available all the time, greater than peace of mind,
And this peace goes everywhere, to handle every tiny care,
But it has no limits to, the problems it can see you through.

The peace that I’m speaking of, will only come from above,
Peace God gives to His own, flowing down from His throne,
The peace of God all receive, when by faith they do believe,
The Gospel Truth of His Son, Christ, who died for everyone.

Though He died, now He lives, as this peace to us He gives,
Sent to believers in this life, to shelter them from daily strife,
The Holy Spirit is God’s agent, in whom God’s peace is sent,
The Spirit is our true comforter, giving us peace in trials sore.

This peace for us is secured, by the work done by The Lord,
And the only part left for us, is to place in The Lord our trust,
Then with a loving nod, Christ sends to us the peace of God,
A peace into a believer’s heart, that from God will not depart.
