epic night
with a spark of white
a whimper
then silence
reflections
lost in thought

inhuman
back to the start

new to sin
end in sight
now to begin 7 days in.

Whimper

a whisper can
lead to a whimper
and one thing may
lead to another
like some whining
when the liking is
not the inkling, and
then you stay out
and not be counted
like those still lining
for the paining, and
then claim
you like the Mesmer.

Try to

voiceless

fire on a
roof of thatch

How Will It End?

How will it end?
With the smell of brimstone?

Will it end in great gatherings,
Or in defiant dignity, aloof and alone?

Will it all end with a display of defiance,
Or Will it all end with a cringe and a simper?

The brave might defy…The weak meekly cry
But the world will die…with a bang and a whimper

Freedom's Talons

rage wrecked revolutionaries,
burning, self-combust, immoliate...
cant seem to break the damned glass.

the bowl wont fit through the bars!
the groaning child's fingers,
open and close, open and close...

the dry stink whimper and shudder,
the child dies of hunger...
freedom's talons tear at the flesh!

The Hand I'm Dealt

I've been dealt a hand not fair or just,
Though in this game I know I must
Play my cards the best I can,
Since the same one deals to every man.

To whine and whimper in this game of poker
Is to lose my way and end up a joker.
The right path is always fraught with peril,
But all other ways are sad and sterile.

Because The Snake Is Here

i am eating my words
i languish in the jail of my ideas
no woman comes here
for a visit
i am murmuring my sighs
to the bars
in between the hours
i whisper my whimper
to the grasshoppers
on the grass
i look to their feet that jump
for skies

my mouth is dry

Cry Out...weep

Crying out loud and weeping are great resources

A nursing mother awaits her child’s call
A mere whimper and she’s right there

Cry out,
Do not be silent in your pain

Lament…

Cry out,
Love is ready to nourish you

The hard rain and driving wind,
are ways a cloud takes care of us
