The heart what value is that
When none care to accept it
It is left to grow old, unruly
Un-nurtured and less social
An awkward graceless entity
Stranger to many things
Stranger still to others
What value is now placed
On this unfamiliar creation
The awkward stranger
Off balance somewhat distant
Perhaps paranoid
Perhaps always on guard
What value exists
On such a commodity
That so many have bypassed

Everyone values things differently. In other words, they place their own value on everything that affects their lives. Also from moment to moment they may even change their values. Such as a person, who values diamonds above all else, might be willing to trade a gallon of diamonds for a drink of water to save his life in a desert. What this means is value is a relative thing depending on a need or a perceived need. Yet, how many people will argue and even violently fight over the perceived value of something or some idea only later have an entirely different view point or value.

My total being is within.

It would be nice to know,
The sharing of 'true' love.
You know,
The goosebump giving kind?
With a value placed on its emphasis.
With a value traced,
To the root of it.

So nice it would be to observe,
A decreasing of opposition.
With an erasing of that element done...
To having everyone come together,
And end conflict.
As a mission that benefits.

~What exists after the 'experiment' of humanity?
Should we continue to explore the premise of this? ~

Where is the justice received within restricted limits?
When did one's right to breathe become a matter for debate?

The Panhandler

The panhandler sits on the street corner.
He asks me, "Spare some change? "
Like an empty vessel, I walk past him.
I see him as another empty vessel.
Some throw him a dime,
But I treat him as a vapor.
My spirit tugs at me.
My mind says he is a ghost,
But my ghost says he is real.
The currency he needs is my time.
He might be looking for his next fix,
But what will it fix?
Another lost soul, looking to get even more lost.
The root of all evil is planting another seed of discontent.
If my God is money,
Your free time has no value to me.
Anything that is free is void of value,
But time is really my only currency.

I used to be careless
Then I longed for the sweet caress
The freedom, the release
The end of me
It was what I ate every morning

What is a name?
What does it mean?

From where does it attain stamina?
From whence are its tactics formulated?

What does it signify when processing
an established aristocratic name-tag?

A name derives authentic revered value; both
individually and collectively; without exception;
sourced upon each birthed or adopted member;
