The Scapegoat

We have all of us read how the Israelites fled
From Egypt with Pharaoh in eager pursuit of 'em,
And Pharaoh's fierce troop were all put "in the soup"
When the waters rolled softly o'er every galoot of 'em.
The Jews were so glad when old Pharaoh was "had"
That they sounded their timbrels and capered like mad.
You see he was hated from Jordan to Cairo --
Whence comes the expression "to buck against faro".
For forty long years, 'midst perils and fears
In deserts with never a famine to follow by,
The Israelite horde went roaming abroad
Like so many sundowners "out on the wallaby".
When Moses, who led 'em, and taught 'em, and fed 'em,
Was dying, he murmured, "A rorty old hoss you are:
I give you command of the whole of the band" --
And handed the Government over to Joshua.

But Moses told 'em before he died,
"Wherever you are, whatever betide,
Every year as the time draws near

Moses

To grace those lines wch next appear to sight,
The Pencil shone with more abated light,
Yet still ye pencil shone, ye lines were fair,
& awfull Moses stands recorded there.
Lett his repleat with flames & praise divine
Lett his the first-rememberd Song be mine.
Then rise my thought, & in thy Prophet find
What Joy shoud warm thee for ye work designd.
To that great act which raisd his heart repair,
& find a portion of his Spirit there.

A Nation helpless & unarmd I view,
Whom strong revengefull troops of warr pursue,
Seas Stop their flight, their camp must prove their grave.
Ah what can Save them? God alone can save.
Gods wondrous voice proclaims his high command,
He bids their Leader wave the sacred wand,
& where the billows flowd they flow no more,
A road lyes naked & they march it o're.
Safe may the Sons of Jacob travell through,

The Prohibition (Chapter 66, Verses 10-11, Holy Koran)

I ask for refuge to Allah from Satan the exiled evildoer.
In the name of Allah the Kind and the Merciful Giver.

Allah has set forth example of Noah and Lut
For the people who disbelieve the Truth.
Both of them were prompt to my slavery
But their wives did the treachery
So they were unable to save them from Allah's anger
Then goes the order, enter into Hell's fire
With the ones who enter.

Allah has set forth Pharaoh's wife's example
For the faithful people
O Lord! Please make a home for me beside You in paradise
And save me from Pharaoh and all his goings-on
And save me from this cruel nation.

With Wishes To Fulfill Individual Greeds

I wouldn't want to be a pharaoh.
Not today.
Not at these prices to pay.

People uniting,
With wishes to fulfill individual greeds.
A taste of variety,
Has once peaceful places...
Feeding this as possibilities.

No one is satisfied to follow a leader.
Not one who has fed...
With a flaunting done,
And a parading around...
While enforcing others to beg!

Oh no!
Those times are being ushered to go!

I wouldn't want to be a pharaoh.

The Human Heart I (From he Holy Bible)

The human heart thinks evil all the time;
God's heart regretted for His making man;
Yet, He loved him most of creatures, He made;
He felt sorry from heart for His Deluge!

Man's heart longs for a wife as per his thoughts;
Pharaoh's heart hardened despite God's signs;
It does not yield to Moses' warning, threats,
And harden's more, when God gives him relief!

Man's heart hardens each time when God is kind;
Like Pharaoh, he fails to keep his promise;
He lapses back to sin when threats are gone;
Man's heart in remorse fills only when late!

God wants man's heart to stay most pure always;
The sound of a falling leaf can instill fear!
God wants man not to fulfill his heart's lusts;
Let heart fear God and keep all His commands!

On The Way To The Promised Land

What God displayed to all of Egypt with His Powerful Uplifted Hand,
Was only the start of Israel's journey to The Blessed Promised Land.

The Egyptians gave Israel gold and silver right after all the blight,
For God made the Egyptians favorably disposed to each Israelite.

When God had all the first born killed Egypt was filled with wailing,
But God passed over each blood covered Israeli home without failing,

God became for Israel a pillar of cloud by day and of fire by night,
And God covered Pharaoh with darkness but His people with light.

When Israel reached the Red Sea they were pursued by Pharaoh's army,
But God defeated the Egyptians by swallowing them up in the Red Sea.

Prior to this Moses said watch and see the deliverance of The Lord,
And with staff raised to part the sea they walked to the other shore.

To empower Moses for the journey and quiet those who began to mock,
God made waters at Marah sweet and produced even more from the rock.

Such A Great Salvation

After 400 years in Egypt, God did not forget His promise to Abraham,
And He sent Moses back to lead Israel into the Blessed Promised Land.

God's awesome power through His miracles was apparent from the start,
And for the sake of His people, God began to harden Pharaoh's heart.

From bondage in the land of Egypt, God delivered His entire nation,
But never did they stop complaining, to see God's arm of Salvation.

With Pharaoh's army in the sea, God's Salvation to the eye was clear,
But on the other side in safety, hearts were still gripped with fear.

When the spies went into the land their eyes of flesh could not see,
That this was the land God promised to Abraham through all Eternity.

And because their father Abraham did not display his faith like this,
When he heard God, he believed and was credited with righteousness.

Unbelief was the cause of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness,
For God used it to purge the next generation of such unrighteousness.

Faith of The Saints of Old

The faith of the saints of old, is recorded in Scripture of us to behold,
Believers today in God of the past, whose faithful ways eternally last.
Past men and women of the faith, were kept by His Amazing Grace,
Looking always to God’s Love, for guidance and comfort from above.

Upon Moses, God had His hand, to guide him to the Promised Land,
The land of promise which He swore, to Abraham many years before.
And before Moses, it was his Mom, who was in The Almighty’s palm,
As she placed her baby in the reeds, relying on God for all his needs.

God then sent Pharaoh’s daughter, to find her baby upon the water,
As a son she would take him in, but God had his Mother care for him.
Moses was then raised up in luxury, as his people were far from free,
But God would use Moses the man, as deliverer from Pharaoh’s hand.

Moses would lead every Israelite, through the Red Sea by God’s might,
Today just like Moses at the exodus, in Christ, God can deliver all of us.
The Pharaohs that come into our life, are no task at all for Jesus Christ,
And as the Eternal Children of God, He goes with us wherever we trod.

At the red sea

In the distance he see them coming,
war chariots filling the horizon
and the rumbling of horse hooves
are getting louder
as they are getting nearer.

Caught between the deep blue sea
and the desert
men, women and children stand
around him
and fear is in their eyes
for the vengeance of Pharaoh
who regards himself equal to God.

They glance away
from the cloud that gives shelter
and the morning’s manna
that was sweet on their lips,
are also already forgotten
and most are truly convinced

The Pharaohs of Today

Pain and labor of oppression gave the Western world its birth,
From such shores the love of freedom ne'er should perish from the earth;
To a conscience that's awakened, these are words to make it start,
'Each oppressor of a human buys himself a hardened heart!'

'Twas the sixties broke the shackles from the body of the slave,
Which was only half his freedom, for his mind we now must save.
Liberty of his opinion, such as other people use
Give him all that makes for manhood, and the same he'll not abuse.

True, the God of ancient Israel loves the Negro of today,
Many proofs are had in common of the truth of what I say;
For the stronger the oppression made them multiply and grow,
Of the Negro in this country quite the same is true, you know.

'Give him freedom,' says the white man, 'will defeat our greatest plan,
With his freedom here's the trouble, he'll aspire to be a man.
Men will scorn to suffer treatment on the level of a brute,
Safest way to keep them subjects is their manhood to dispute.'
