Neglect apathy
Neglect apathy
Causes downfall.
Abject penury
Deprived basic
Amenities
Causes downfall.

Warmth, not wealth, feeds
A mother in penury has her child
Suckles her breast and slumber on her lap.
A mother in luxury buys her child
A feeding bottle and a silver cradle.
The child of the poor is rich in warmth,
Though with no silver spoon in its mouth.

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 20
Satan cannot conquer the righteous and the sultan the poor.
Lend nothing to a prayerless man
Although his mouth may gasp from penury;
Because he who neglects the commands of God
Will also not care for what he may be indebted to thee.

Thirst for God
When in penury
Man hunts for wealth.
He is then ever in thirst
And in quenching it he gets crazy.
In the process of amassing wealth
He loses his health.
And to his spiritual psyche
There strikes an injury.
If his thirst is channelized towards God
He comes under the umbra of His Mercy.

Chill Penury And Winter's Power
Chill penury and winter's power
Upon my soul so hard have prest,
That I would fain have seen no more
The red flow'rs that the meadows drest:
Yet, truth! 'twere hard, if I were gone,
Upon the merry-making throng,
That loud with joy was wont to ring,
And o'er the green to dance and spring!

Longing never ceases
One looks for dawn while at dusk
and for dusk when at dawn.
One longs for winter in summer
and for summer when in winter.
One begs for hunger in affluence
and the other for food in penury..
The one at peak is for privacy
and the other, down, for publicity.
Who is happy from womb to tomb?

Spirituality Reality
The dream games
played by mortals
can't touch my sense of life
Abundance is my heritage
Not penury and strife
What seems to be
Is not what is
But hints to what is real
We can't be fooled
We must look past
To what we know and feel
We must hold in our mind
The Truth of Life Divine
Where Peace and Love
are ever ours

Between The Names
To delegate death,
a mirror condenses the human sorrow
with an unclouded
penury.
The suffering competes
with debt and pain,
to find the difference between
just and unjust.
Prayer was not the full answer
to cross the beyond
of starvation.
A parasitic twin always rides
on your shoulder.
That infant of sun lied on earth
in the afterwords.
I heard someone crying
between the names.

On Envy (From The Greek)
Pity, says the Theban bard,
From my wishes I discard;
Envy, let me rather be,
Rather far, a theme for thee.
Pity to distress is shown.
Envy to the great alone--
So the Theban -- But to shine
Less conspicuous be mine!
I prefer the golden mean,
Pomp and penury between;
For alarm and peril wait
Ever on the loftiest state
And the lowest to the end
Obloquy and scorn attend.

Heavenly bodies and Nobodies
The penury is the only valuable ornament they wear.
Their far relatives who are in the heaven hoax them in their dreams.
They call these innocents as heathen.
Once in a blue moon they come to the earth with their flickered flying saucers and fly in the face.
This flightless flimsy souls who are penniless and how do they afford the passage to heaven?
They regretted and left behind in the furnace named hell.
