Quotes about modus, page 2

Modus Vivendi

Would you please just hold my hand,
When I cry out for this land,
Where such evil reigns, and hate
Meets a man at his own gate.

And our sadness and our fears,
Come from taunts and from harsh jeers,
As we try hard to convey,
How strong love is, everyday.

We should each smile, when we meet
The populace out on the street,
Then there'd be no need of fright,
Through the day, or through the night.

And joy would be on each face,
Of this whole vast human race,
When a sweet paradise is found,
On this earth's rough battleground.

Dawn Roused

The night space is still slumbering
Its vast dark mouth wide open
Like a monster's black yawn
The higgledy-piggledy teeth twinkling out

Sickle-moon sneering at my lure
Rousing dawn's gusto by a quick cafe au lait
I rise before the sun rises
My modus-operandi to precede the sequel

4A.M a hush-hush wake up
Right in the kitchen for an invigorating coffee
Pea berry grounds put into the filter
Pressed gently, in poured the scalding water
Plop plop like the rain drop
In the receptacle decoction dripping

Eying around readily boil milk
An esoteric mix of my secret coffee ready
Sip and swig the frothy java

Africa

Heap of wood,
Kindle the fire in Africa!
With narrow windows above the guardrooms.
To the African civilizations,
Unique and creative;
With cultures and edifices to tell a story.
In the middle of the desert road,
From the orient and the occident;
On the mountain skirts and forests to tell a stroy.
Where are the Executives?
Of fresh and natural colours;
The epics and the braveries will greet you.
Where are the Legislatives?
The modus operandi is based on culture! !
Where, the governments rules with tribalism.
Where are the Judiciaries?
Like the artistic works around;
But, nature's love is what we share in Africa!
Heap the wood,
Multinationals with spoken languages;

Dry Up Your Tears

Dry up your tears Mama Africa,
And greetings to your sons and daughters;
For i am here to back you up as a true son!

The 'Modus Operandi' is what we need,
But we have to weep for ourselves as well;
For your freedom, liberty and privacy are now intruded!
But i am here to back you up as a true son.

I am reaching out to the galaxies and,
You need to dry up your tears Mama Africa;
For you have the gift so sweet to the souls,
And of the your expectations and passions!
For your patience and love touches the hearts of many.

A person who fears is not made whole in love,
And i am here to back you up as a true son;
So dry up your tears Mama Africa,
For you are brighter than the gold on the honeymoon stride.

You Cannot Know Where Angels Tread?

But I know where angels used to go
passages in the Bible have told me so

and I know where they now do go
everywhere God tells them to show

I have studied angels their recorded mo
where miracles occur is where angels go

any angels I meet must have stayed in disguise
some are so streetwise they wear angelic neckties

sad I never warranted any formal introductions
my angels were on the case of alien abductions

also traditional cases of topic demonic possessions
any indications of fallen angel plied manifestations

yes I oft do know where dozens of good angels tread
I see angelic party smiles around a young babies bed.

Ode to an Indian Classical Dancer

O thou fair nymph of art, dance
Dance that world may dance with you.

In thy grace is mirrored the grace
Of thy nation's heritage;
In thy gait is depicted the majesty
of thy God's incarnates;
In thy grimaces are revealed
The wrath of gods, the misery of thine own folk;
In thy curves are betrayed the curves
Of thy nations sculptural art.

Art hath taught thou to blend-
What time hath failed to destroy-
In thy grace gait and grimace
The invocations to the Gods
Of thy miserable countrymen.

Miserable countrymen? I begin to doubt
May be, may not be so

A Daughter's Prayer

'Dear Lord, though my Mommy does not speak of such,
The man who lives with me is not my Daddy;
He has been with me for about three years, I know this much.
But, I deserve to know my Father-and this is not caddy!
Please allow that he may again be able to see
Both the Daughter I have become, and shall always be.
I feel more forlorn each day, with the void of his absence-
I want very much to be privy again to his pleasance! '

It remains to be seen how the Lord shall answer
What is surely the heart-felt cry of a lonely child;
How might the Lord render reply to such a cancer! ?
How may He bring back one who has so defiled
His Very Name, as any who sees to continue such separation-
That would seek to further such a grievous devastation! ? !

The Lord must reckon with one of a wicked kind:
He must now and evermore cause remind,
The most important concern is the author of the 'letter'-
Until she no longer feels this void, naught shall ever be better!

Noon at Ngayon

N'ong aming panahon,19kopong-kopong

Crush the rebellion

I am determined to crush the rebellion,
Send them packing and back into pavilion,
I bring them to sense with high handedness,
If need be hang them in public to show hardness,

These were the methods practiced by rulers,
Single word to be upheld as doctrine or pillars,
No one to violate and nothing to question,
All in good faith so no question of rejection,

In modern days modus operand is changed,
Practice same but orderly and convincingly arranged,
Behind the doors malpractice cleverly managed,
Call to all but promises conveniently words reneged,

I am determined to halt the assault,
It is not the system but poets at fault,
Falling easy prey and like ice melt,
No agony, no pain and no regret felt,

Etiquette

What is she selling?
Who are her buyers?
But i am only doing my job to updat my mind with you;
So eat like that and dance like that too for your lover.
Dress like that and think of the Modus Operandi;
like one leg in and one leg out on this love game.
Now, the hunter is being hunted;
Now, the writer is being questioned;
Like a protocol to a school far away from home.

Just say it and do it for love,
Because the matter at hand is pregnant!
Cool, fool, root, wool, sail, jail;
Like shooters from a hill aiming at the lovers' camp.
The people around you have seen it and,
Wonders shall never end;
Like a protocol to a school far away from home.

When did you leave your deco?
Please, practice some more and the glory will be your's;
