First Of The Gang To Die
you have never been in love
untill you've seen the stars
reflect in the reservoirs
and you have never been in love
until you've seen the dawn rise
behind the home for the blind
we are the pretty petty thieves
and your standing on our streets
where Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to time
the first of the gang to die/oh my
Hector was the first of the gang
with gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die/oh my
you have never been in love
until you've seen sunlight thrown
over smashed human bone
we are the pretty petty thieves

The Broomfield Hill
There was a knight and lady bright
Set trysts amo the broom,
The one to come at morning eav,
The other at afternoon.
'I'll wager a wager wi' you,' he said,
'An hundred marks and ten,
That ye shall not go to Broomfield Hills,
Return a maiden again.'
'I'll wager a wager wi' you,' she said,
'A hundred pounds and ten,
That I will gang to Broomfield Hills,
A maiden return again.'
The lady stands in her bower door,
And thus she made her mane:
'Oh, shall I gang to Broomfield Hills,
Or shall I stay at hame?

Join The Gang
Let me introduce you to the gang
Johnny plays the sitar, hes an existentialist
Once he had a name, now he plays our game
You wont feel so good now that youve joined the gang
Molly is the model in the ads
Crazy clothes and acid full of soul and crazy hip
Someone switched her on, then her beam went wrong
Cause she cant switch off now that shes joined the gang
Arthur is a singer with a band
Arthur drinks two bottles just before he goes on stage
Look at arthur rave, all the kids are paid
They want to see the croaking man who joined the gang
You wont be alone, weve all got beery grins
Its a big illusion but at least youre in
At least youre in
This clubs called the webb, its this months pick
Next month we shall find a place where prices arent so stiff
15 bob a coke, fraid thats past a joke
This is how to spend now that youve joined the gang
This is what to do now that youre here

Strong Arm Steady we ready it's time to ball out
When vocal chords spit cold sh*t they never thaw out
Industry tried to pigeonhole, I had to crawl out
Hear my name bein called out, nuclear fallout
Full body armor with bangers, we goin all out
Garbage bags in trunk of the car, it won't stall out

His and Hers
Mom and Dad had a great big fight
Right in the middle of the store
Where Mom works. It was quite a sight.
I wasn't there. I'm almost 4.
Police came and arrested Dad.
Mom told them it was all because
She dissed Dad's gang, and he got mad.
Mom said her gang, the Crips, sure was
Better than his Ballers by far;
And I would be in the Crips gang
Because that's where the winners are.
Dad went ballistic with a bang.
I'll join whichever gang gives me
A fireman's hat and a puppy.

The Hole In The Wall Gang
The meerkats work as if a team,
Each one must play his part...
Each knows that life can get extreme,
So why be torn apart?
Together they've now formed a gang...
Each stands up for himself!
Why fight with claw? Why fight with fang?
Why risk your state of health?
Run like the wind! Get out of sight!
Go underground, be safe!
Don't give your enemy delight!
Don't face him! Don't be brave!
While he's up there, he's on his own!
He doesn't stand a chance!
You're underground because you've flown!
Your lifespan to enhance!
He'll soon get bored and wander off...
He knows you'll not get caught!
You'll join the gang, his plight to scoff...
Because it came to nought!

The Flying Gang
I served my time, in the days gone by,
In the railway's clash and clang,
And I worked my way to the end, and I
Was the head of the "Flying Gang".
'Twas a chosen band that was kept at hand
In case of an urgent need;
Was it south or north, we were started forth
And away at our utmost speed.
If word reached town that a bridge was down,
The imperious summons rang --
"Come out with the pilot engine sharp,
And away with the flying gang."
Then a piercing scream and a rush of steam
As the engine moved ahead;
With measured beat by the slum and street
Of the busy town we fled,
By the uplands bright and the homesteads white,
With the rush of the western gale --
And the pilot swayed with the pace we made
As she rocked on the ringing rail.

End of the Month!
*Bonnie Elizabeth Parker (October 1,1910 - May 23,1934) and Clyde Chestnut Barrow (March 24,1909 - May 23,1934) were well-known outlaws, robbers, and criminals who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. Their gang was known as the 'Barrow Gang' which included Bonnie and Clyde, and at times Buck Barrow, Blanche Barrow, Raymond Hamilton, W.D. Jones, Joe Palmer, Ralph Fults, and Henry Methvin. Their exploits captured the attention of the American public during the 'public enemy era' between 1931 and 1934. Though known today for his dozen-or-so bank robberies, Barrow in fact preferred to rob small stores or rural gas stations. The gang is believed to have killed at least nine police officers and committed several civilian murders. The couple themselves were eventually ambushed and killed in Louisiana by law officers. Their reputation was cemented in American pop folklore by Arthur Penn's 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde
O the poor man's execution days?
Electricity bill, water, cable
and house rent
Citation ticket for parking at Paradise road?
Check Engine light flickers
Right side of the front flat tyre
and in the spare wheel too no air?
Wife grumbles her severe abdominal pains
and I whispered to her ear; 'Are you pregnant? '
She's angry!
I filled my water pistol thinking of the old movie
*'Bonnie & Clyde' and here the grand son comes
Reminds me of my old saying; 'Be a Lion Grandpa
among the dirty wolves.'
It's another painful wake up?

The Haggis Of Private McPhee
"Hae ye heard whit ma auld mither's postit tae me?
It fair maks me hamesick," says Private McPhee.
"And whit did she send ye?" says Private McPhun,
As he cockit his rifle and bleezed at a Hun.
"A haggis! A Haggis!" says Private McPhee;
"The brawest big haggis I ever did see.
And think! it's the morn when fond memory turns
Tae haggis and whuskey--the Birthday o' Burns.
We maun find a dram; then we'll ca' in the rest
O' the lads, and we'll hae a Burns' Nicht wi' the best."
"Be ready at sundoon," snapped Sergeant McCole;
"I want you two men for the List'nin' Patrol."
Then Private McPhee looked at Private McPhun:
"I'm thinkin', ma lad, we're confoundedly done."
Then Private McPhun looked at Private McPhee:
"I'm thinkin' auld chap, it's a' aff wi' oor spree."
But up spoke their crony, wee Wullie McNair:
"Jist lea' yer braw haggis for me tae prepare;
And as for the dram, if I search the camp roun',
