Maturity

Chrysalis to moth
The growth takes a walk

Moth to butterfly
The growth begins to fly

Butterfly to death
The growth withers

Death to immortality
It is freed.

The loss of losing

The loss of losing,
Can be devastating.

How we react,
Can be worse.

Wrap ourselves in a lined cocoon,
Of a depressing clot.

A metamorphose of renewed life,
Is a difficult chrysalis to break.

Hiding here won’t give resilients,
To overcome the loss.

beware beautify seeds
canonize flight souls
dancing in mansions
of imagination minds

dancing back core psyches
Garden of Eden memories
dancing purity entry cosmos
paradise embodiment songs

dream visions
swiftly heal earth screams
beautiful wings

Cocoon above! Cocoon below!
Stealthy Cocoon, why hide you so
What all the world suspect?
An hour, and gay on every tree
Your secret, perched in ecstasy
Defies imprisonment!

An hour in Chrysalis to pass,
Then gay above receding grass
A Butterfly to go!
A moment to interrogate,
Then wiser than a "Surrogate,"
The Universe to know!

Music isn't just music

Music isn't just music, it's a way of life.
Music is more than life.
It's a work of art.
Music is like a cumulous cloud on a stormy day. It brings joy to the people who love it.
Music is like a catelpillar hatching out of its chrysalis its spreds its wings at a slow part dramactic part then takes flight in the entergetic parts.
Music is more than life.
It's an inspiration.

These—are Time's Affair—
Death's diviner Classifying
Does not know they are—

As in sleep—All Hue forgotten—
Tenets—put behind—
Death's large—Democratic fingers
Rub away the Brand—

If Circassian—He is careless—
If He put away
Chrysalis of Blonde—or Umber—
Equal Butterfly—

What Death—knows so well—

A password I will never lose
Nice messages
And funny poems
Stories, too
Gifts to treasure
Love to remember
Maybe even friendship to last forever

At husking time

At husking time the tassel fades
To brown above the yellow blades,
Whose rustling sheath enswathes the corn
That bursts its chrysalis in scorn
Longer to lie in prison shades.

Among the merry lads and maids
The creaking ox-cart slowly wades
Twixt stalks and stubble, sacked and torn
At husking time.

The prying pilot crow persuades
The flock to join in thieving raids;
The sly racoon with craft inborn
His portion steals; from plenty's horn
His pouch the saucy chipmunk lades

To Change Your Name

A very wise person once wrote that it’s
The choices we make that define the person we are.
The decision you’ve made to change your name
Is one of the most important choices you’ll ever make —
Something no one else can do for you.

Just like the butterfly that emerges from the chrysalis,
Changing your name heralds a new stage in your life.
Like the butterfly, may you go out into this world
With pride, with courage, and with the certain knowledge that
Your new name has added meaning and purpose to your life.
