Quotes about Apology for empathy, page 2

In Those Old Days

You may be tough.
But your approach to solicit,
My empathy and pity...
Could have been easier to get,
Without your demanding it.
But I do understand,
The competition you're up against.
And if I may make a suggestion...
You should put that gun away.
Since my first reaction,
Is not empathy with pity for you at all.

'It isn't real.'

Which?
The gun?
Your wish for empathy and pity?
Or my fear?

'Why can't you just co-operate,

Sure I'll Accept Your Apology

Sure...
I'll accept your apology,
For something you accused me...
And now find that not to be true.
After years spending your time,
Slime-ing minds againgst mine!
Ruining relationships I had of all kinds.
And with just a brief apology...
You believe you are going to be freed,
Of your guilt?
Especially when it was done to me consciously.
Sure...
I'll accept your apology.
Will you accept my continued hatred for you?
Sincerely speaking,
Of course.
And with respectful brotherhood.

You Creative Types Are So Tempermental

You want me to apologize?
OKAY...
I apologize.

'What level of sincerity,
Was that apology? '

I would say...
Right between where I would put my foot.
And the words your ears would hear,
As they rolled off my tongue.

'I accept your apology.'

I am glad of that!
Because you would find my foot painful.
And those words rolling off my tongue...
Would be created just for you.

'But then again...

An Apology To The Reader Who Has Written Me A Message I Have Not Answered

AN APOLOGY TO THE READER WHO HAS WRITTEN A MESSAGE TO ME I HAVE NOT ANSWERED

The real apology is not this poem
It is one by one
Reader by reader
Answering each one
Who has ever written me.

It is reading all the poems of others
I do not want to say
A ‘real no’ or a ‘false yes’ to.

It is opening myself
To perhaps a true friend
To perhaps one whose writing
I see better than my own.

The real apology
Is in opening up to the poems of the many unknown others.

A Mustard Seed Develops Exponentially?

Sometimes an apology
is aesthetically necessary.
To excuse a moment of muddled
distracted introverted preoccupation.
Even though or when inferably...
an apology is not necessary.

Sometimes an apology
is absolutely necessary.
To excuse a moment of extreme stupidity
or faux pas various social misdemeanors.
Even when we may be absolutely innocent
framed misunderstood or sadly guilty as sin.

Such socially interactive afterthought
and kind commendable consideration.
Is a character forming trait
that can appease elevate beautify.
A mere agitated mortal into

No Emotional Investment Made

No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
And there has been no emotional investment made.
Not one to make your absence made clear.

No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
There is nothing felt or I have witnessed...
That makes an apology something worthy to hear,
Again from your lips.

It's like this...
Excused exaggerations colorized by alibis,
Do not fly well in this atmosphere you wish to change!
For purposes to cement a meaningless relationship.
The only thing you have deposited,
Is superficiality.
And nothing of that I have embraced can you claim.

It's like this...

The empathy

To give alms is compassion.
To feel for one’s sufferings is sympathy.
To share one’s sufferings is empathy.
What you do to parents is compassion,
What you do to siblings is sympathy.
Your doings to offspring is empathy.
Shows empathy to others to be great.

Pandora II

though many people prefer myth. No, after Hope, Empathy came out of the basket. Pretty as was Hope, Empathy made her look like Hans Christian Anderson. Othwise, she was completely naked, had a charming voice and complained of nothing but the cold.
'Brrr, it's cold out here', she said, precisely.
Greatly moved, Pandora handed her a tissue to wrap herself in, which she did, but it's perfume gave her a sneezing jag.
'I'm awfully sorry', she said, wiping her nose with a corner of the tissue, 'have you got a pseudophed? '
Pandora didn't.
'My name is Empathy'.
'That's a pretty name', returned Pandora, beginning to get tired of all this hand-shaking. Nevertheless, ...

Taking It to the Roof

It should be one's consideration,
Someone is there.
It should be one's consideration,
Someone there cares.

It should be one's consideration,
People are aware who dare...
To show someone there is caring.

Many are feeling more empathy.
Because people are sharing and aware.
Many are fed up with cruelties.
And showing they dare to care.

Taking it to the roof,
To...
Prove what people caring do,
To...
Remove their stubborn attitudes,
To...

What I Do Know

I'm not into pretense.
Or perceive elements of its benefits.
I see none.

Masquerading one's feelings,
To later expose them behind one's back...
Is sooo,
Uncool!
And those who do it,
Are sooo...
Unattached from integrity.

I could care less how many Bibles,
They quote scriptures from.
These folks are gutter dwellers.

I'm not into pretense.
Or perceive elements of its benefits.
I see none.
