Wishing Girl
I wish that I could be a boy
Instead I am a boy’s play toy
Aka I’m a girl
Young spirited and handsome I would be
Strong and brave, no one would tease me
But instead I’m a girl
I would play video games and rough house
But instead I’m as timid as a mouse
Aka I’m a girl
I want to be strong like a boy and brave
I don’t want to be scared in a small cave
But instead I’m a girl
As a girl, I’m supposed to be polite
As a girl, I’m not supposed to fight
Every day and every night
I wish that I could be a boy
Because with girls I wouldn’t toy
But instead I’m a girl
