Special Angel

Shh, Listen really hard,
can you here what i here,
im sure i here an angel,
saying that they are near.

Look, Open your eyes,
can you see what i see,
im sure i see an angel,
standing next to me.

The angel whispered in my ear,
and told me not to cry,
it said im sorry my precious one,
i'm sorry i had to die.

As i looked at this angel,
i was so shocked to see,
that this wasnt just any angel
this angel belonged to me.

This angel was a special one,
crossed from this world to another,
and the reason he was special,
is because this angel.. was my Brother.

Open Your Eyes You Can Fly

Intro - speakout
Never be afraid to love
Never be afraid to just be
Just cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Dont cloud your rise with fathers lies
See only what you want to see
To stuplicate the simple truth
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (uh uh)
You can fly
Never be afraid to love (no, no, no...)
Never be afraid to just be
Cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (fly, fly, fly)
Open your eyes (yeah) you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (mhh)
You can fly (fly away mhhm)
Speakout:
Remember,
You cant wait for others to applaud what you do
So just congratulate youself
And start something new
Open your eyes you can fly (open your eyes)
Open your eyes you can fly (you can fly with me)
You can fly (fly)
Open your eyes (eyes) you can fly (baby yeah)
Open your eyes (fly away with never) you can fly (fly away with never)
You can fly
You can fly (mhh fly away way way)
Open your eyes (open your eyes) you can fly
Open your eyes (baby) you can fly
You can fly (no open this)
Open your eyes

The Stars Do Not Know That They Are Stars

THE STARS DO NOT KNOW THAT THEY ARE STARS

The stars do not know that they are stars
They do not know how violent they are-
They do not know they inspire human dreams
They do not know that they are more distant than they seem-

The stars do not know that they are stars
They do not know we do not see them as they are-
They do not know that trillions of transformations from now
They will not even be gaseous clouds.

To See The Glee In Your Eyes At Eighty

To see the glee in your eyes at eighty
as if you were about to achieve something as big
as you did at three.
And you, there, shy one, freaky adolescent
day after day in the same corner of the restaurant
like a bruised mermaid
riding the clock out like a sea turtle
until it’s time to go home again and face the music;
you who drive your pen so deeply
into the fleshy paper
of your black arts journal
as if you were carving up a body
or intensely wedging the tiny bird tracks
of your hieroglyphic footnotes
like some bitter aside
into the shin of that Ramsean gigantism
you’re standing in the shadow of
waiting for it to get dark enough
the fireflies might come out.
To see you light up like a rainbow at a black mass
when I ask if I can look
and you turn your book over like a leaf
and show me a breakthrough masterpiece
that’s good enough to start a school of crocuses
with no instruction from anyone.
To see you afraid to believe in your own excellence
the juno of your aristos
yet risking the possibility it might be a fact
you’re the mysterious matrix
of a genuinely creative act;
that you might feel
like you’ve got a lump of coal for a heart
and a La Brea tar pit for a mind
but when the mascara comes off
like a Gothic eclipse
you’re a new moon
and you’re starting to shine like a diamond.
To see the black dove in your eyes
liberated from the cages of disapproval
imposed on you by white crows in disguise
is to know
what human beings are doing on earth.
To see what softens the angry blue eyes
of the next generation
of gram masters of Gore Street
with their heads shaved like Auschwitz
or the Stalinesque inmates of the Thief’s World
with its rock pile laws
trying to stay true to the Rosetta Stone
of their prison tattoos
like the sacred syllables
of the mother tongue of darkness.
To see in the glee in their eyes
when their girlfriends take them back
that their hearts are not hard enough yet
to be immune to alienation
and for all the rocks that blister in spoons
the occasional angel still keeps its place
as Francis Thompson knew better than these
under the stones that love turns over
like eclipses of the moon
that weren’t indelible enough to last.
To see the glee in the eyes of a child
when it looks at an animal
and sees the same instinctive innocence
that’s just as wild as it is
and watch their minds go crazy
trying to give their tongues
a jump up on their amazement
at meeting a senient life form
that speaks the same language they do
and shares in the original parity
of the undifferentiated freedom
they still enraptures them in Dilmun
Shangri La
Queensland
and the Garden of Eden.
To see such ecstasy in their eyes
is to know how much wonder is lost
how much joy in just being here with everything else
is driven out of us
as we age our way into separation
deluded by the truth
that perfects our isolation
from the small and big furry things with startling eyes
and the Bolshoi Ballet of fins and veils
that makes my gold fish Toke a dancer
or an underwater comet
high above Atlantis
like a good omen on the eve
of some catastrophic decision
to rise again with more imagination to live
than the dead have reason not to.
To see the glee in the eyes of a friend in winter
like the bouquet of good brandy
beside a warm fire mythologizing
the first drafts of the stories
that are being told and retold
by the blind poets of an oral tradition
sipping red gold
from the snifters of inspiration
they swirl like the whirlpools of the muses
warming to their palms like the head of a glass rose
with its stem between their fingers.
To see in their eyes how good it is
to recognize we’re all linked like tree rings
to the same heartwood
through all four seasons of our lives
is to make a friend of your own human nature
by remembering even in the midst
of this blitz of blazing that blinds the world
on the frantic midways of its cheap thrills
like a heart under a roof heavy with snow
the best things in life
like fires and friends
and goblets of auburn Courvoisier
still glow without diminishment.
To see the glee in the eyes of the rain
that they can behold the whole of the sky again
and all its stars
in the single dropp of a tear
though the rain doesn’t know who it’s crying for
is to understand in a flash of insight
even though you fall
like the small flower at the tip of a blade of stargrass
like a grain of sand down the slopes
of the oxymoronic mountains in an hourglass
you contain it all within yourself
and you can’t pour the universe out of the universe
anymore than you can be driven out of paradise
or be obliterated out of existence
whether humanity immolates itself
or dark energy accelerates us
into an entropy of starless ice.
To perceive the stars and the fireflies in the eyes of the rain
is to comprehend that your mystic specificity
is so unique and broad-shouldered
that down to the slightest detail
what makes you so crucially you
is that it upholds the whole of the rest of the world
in every cell and grain of gold and dirt
like a mountain of a cornerstone
that’s as boundless and high
as its bottomless valley is deep.
To look into the eyes of the stranger
the child the friend the lover the corpse
the eye of the hurricane the enemy the Medusa
the wounded white tail buck in the barbed wire fence
the black-eyed Susans the English ox-eyed daisies
or the yellow suns in the hydrogen clouds
of the New England asters
or the white eclipse of the black holes
in the eyes of the shark as it rolls to kill
or to attune the expression
to the sensibilities of the moment
as a fourteenth century German mystic once wrote
the same eye by which I see the multiverse
are all the eyes by which the multiverse sees me.
What you see
everyone sees.
When you understand
everyone understands.
Lost causes flaws and imperfections.
The lamp the road the night the light the journey.
You can ask the fireflies.
You can ask the galaxies.
But when you’ve exhausted all your cul de sacs
it’s going to be your own seeing
without starmaps
that gives you the right directions
like true north on the inside
and then reminds you in a gentle aside
that it’s impossible to be off the path
because it’s as wide as your field of vision.
When you see for yourself
who’s watching you in this dream of life
even the blind are enlightened
and as many as the ways
and as myriad as the eyes there are
to see in and through your mind
like a jewel turning in the light
it reveals like infinite insight
from the dark source of its own radiance
we rejoice in the genius
of compassion and courage
who took a Pax gene and a moonbeam
and in a moment of omnidirectional inspiration
that included all points of view at once
made it the muse of our eyes.
When you realize
that sight is a kind of love
as I once read on a poster in the sixties
everyone realizes
when you open your eyes
like an expanding universe
even our imperfections shine
in the available dimensions of the darkness before us
and born from the very beginning of everything else
to see and be happy
eye to eye with your own vision of things
as they appear and disappear
like thorns and roses from your heart
like leptons axions and quarks
like the stem cells of your own creative potential
to enter the dark spaces of your own imageless realms
and revel like a child in the art
of making worlds within worlds
like an opening night that everyone’s invited to.
Comets bombarded the earth
and the waters of life
broke from their fire wombs
and for the children of that union
there’s never been a way
to look into the eyes of their opposite
without seeing themselves.
Whether in sorrow or joy
whether in love despair ignorance or wisdom
out of our minds
or biding our time within them
like a flower that knows when to bloom
our shadows cast on a winter night
by the approaching light of Venus
or exalted by the crazy wisdom of life
in the thriving tides of the moon
eyes in the sky
like spy satellites extraterrestrials
and Hubble telescopes
eyes in the water
eyes in the blood
eyes in the wine
eyes in the wheat the apple the pomegranate
eyes in the forbidden fruits
that make all things believable
two eyes and a third
in the word for imagination
to conceive of the inconceivable.
When you see this
through your own eyes
even the mirages the delusions the lies
confess to themselves creatively.
Don’t judge the immensity of the world within
by the grain of sand it comes in
or the density of the pyramid
by what the thieves left of its grave goods.
Imagination is a dragon fly
that can take the fallen and broken
the duff and decay
the twig the leaf the petal
and glue it into a small house of transformation
so the worm comes out breathing fire
like a burnt matchstick with wings.
Point is.
Don’t waste the creative potential
of your own imperfections.
You can find holy water in a tainted well
if you know how to look for it.
The moon dips her cup
in the waters of life
because she has none
and as she raises it to her lips
what looked like a skull
turns into a long-stemmed goblet.
Doorways of light.
Doorways of night.
We open them both alike.
White sails.
Black sails.
We part the veils of space
to see who’s wearing our face
like a mask in the guise of a universe.
Bad.
Worse.
Perfections.
Imperfections.
When you understand
everyone understands.
We weep rivers of stars
into our own hands
to drink from our own reflections
just to taste the light and the life
of the mysterious insight
that burns within us
when the sun shines at midnight.

As You Look Deep Into The Mirror

the mirror is the echo of the sound you make
inside yourself,
the voice that you utter when nobody watches you
when all of them left to their homes
and you are left alone
talking to yourself, the voice comes out
from your heart
speaking your name, your dreams
you hear the voice that you cannot see
calling you
and so you stand before the mirror
and try once more
to see the face of that voice
fair and square
it tells you who you really are
softer inside
hard on the outside
the exoskeleton that you have been making
breaks down
like flakes of mud drying
the warmth in your eyes is still there
the affection you want to give
the love you want to spread

they are all there
in your eyes
but you cannot help it
seeing something ugly

you have not spoken
the voice hides in the silence
walled by your teeth
your tongue swollen

this discomfort of not saying
anything as everyone you love

leaves the door still opening
to the cold outside

the wind hunting for some stars

What Do You See

What do you see
When you are looking at me?

When your flashing eye
Reflects the sky
Like the sea.

A young man having fun
And everyone in turn
Loving him like cream?

Or an old man who after you see you would run
And everyone in turn
Hating him and the sun
Getting dim when it sees him?

Is that what you see?

What do you see
When you are looking at me?

A troublesome boy
Who is in people's mouths
Where ever he goes?

Maybe a drunken guy
Coming at night
And knocking on doors
And talking while he snows?

Is that what you see?

Then you are wrong for sure.

For I am a broken hearted person
Trying to fight for freedom like Mandela Nelson
Getting all the pieces of my broken heart
To make sure that they are well sown
And one day you shall understand
That what you saw was not what it was.
It will really be the time
After you realize that you were wrong
When your mouths will get rid of that nasty song.

To You Whom I Love More Than Myself (Sonnet Redoublé)

I

You to whom my feelings are obvious,
may God guide you
(even if I am being presumptuous)
through every day, keeping you true,

in everything grant all that’s good,
make you sure
in every day, temper every mood
great and pure

and may He be in everything
that you put your hand to,
giving His greatest blessing,
may you be excelling in all that you do;

once I saw you jolly and free,
I saw you long-legged wading into the sea

II

I saw you long-legged wading into the sea
the epitome of youthfulness,
with no frivolity
and you were deadly serious without meekness

entering as if approaching a holy living thing
leaving the shallows you were going in deep
and it was if you were searching for something,
something from the deep beyond that you could keep

and not going to plunder, but were hunting for a holy relic
something with great wonder,
not to hang around your neck like a charm or some garlic
not made by man, or from the elements like thunder:

I watched you searching for something beyond man’s affairs,
from our lounge chairs.

III

From our lounge chairs
across from the fireplace
there was passion on your face
and it was sweet sincerity without putting on airs

where we were living out our lives, our own affairs
with depth and sweetness in every embrace
with love and true grace
in the presence of the One from upstairs

and the firelight sparkled in your hair
while outside it sieved down rain
with a crimson glare and you thought we were being stalked,
with something reflecting against the windowpane
and on the other side something was there;
we went out and we walked.

IV

We went out and we walked
along the lane from oak tree to oak tree
and holding hands we talked
and as far as we could see

the lane ran right into town,
on the little knoll, were only you and I
and we walked down,
were in love and free and above us the sky

and that spring
you had blossoms in your hair,
everything was flowering
and you were past beautiful fair

we were looking at some freshly painted art,
at the restaurant where we greeted to part

V

At the restaurant we greeted to part
and there was something weird, something touching
as again to you, I had lost my heart
and it was totally amazing

and I am still trying to think
what had happened with our goodbyes?
At what had happened with our last drink?
With your burning, aching-bright sea green eyes.

Still love slumbers on and you have been gone
for more than twenty years
as the true one
and I have cried so many tears

when you broke my heart,
you were my first sweetheart.

VI

You were my first sweetheart
astonishing beautiful and gay,
I had feelings that we would never part
that we had something that could not pass away,

while we walked up into the hill
on a small track meandering,
you following out of love and freewill
and a gentle breeze was whispering

through the trees in the wood
and the forest had a great smell
and life was great, far better than good
and everything was far better than well

while you loved me gaily,
there was sweet serenity.

VII

There was sweet serenity,
at a rock ledge
the feeling of being totally free
and we were almost right on the edge

and passion flared up between you and me.
When I found a disa, a wild orchid,
you were utterly pretty
and the flower’s beauty was quite vivid

being deeply blue hued
and I gave the flower to you and we were together
your eyes glimmered true
and that moment could have lasted forever,

we waited until late saw a white dove;
there was a golden moon in the sky, my love.

VIII

There was a golden moon in the sky, my love
and the wind was blowing again
with sparkling stars in the sky above
and later there might have been some rain.

We are far apart, my love,
with more than a thousand miles in between
but in my heart’s alcove
like you another has never been.

I do not know how the night looks, my love,
in the place that you call home
if you also hear the cooing of a dove,
as tonight we are both alone

and somehow my heart is full of pain,
I am wondering if I could do it all again?

IX

I am wondering if I could do it all again
visit you like I did then,
motorbike to you in the rain,
bringing you flowers from a glen?

Through other relationships
that has brought an own meaning
my life have gone with rises and dips
like it did from the very beginning.

Now it’s somewhat strange
to know you and not to know you at all
and our lives are different as if rearranged,
in things big and small

but we can make it up in many ways,
even if we are absent for days.

X

Even if we are absent for days,
for weeks or months without end
and your loving rays
that folds over me becomes spend,

even if destiny twist our lives
or even a demon’s rage
is all that nature gives
and destruction be our wage

then still in faith, truth and trust
our love can conquer time and space,
past this world of stone and dust,
past the abilities of the human race

with feelings finding a way to pave,
taking a honeymoon, being brave.

XI

Taking a honeymoon, being brave
driving somewhere up through the hills,
while for each other we still crave
experiencing new things and many thrills

might turn things between us back
to what it was supposed to be
if to our lives we find a new track
where you share your life with me.

Time have swept past much too fast
while between us remain great memories
and I know we cannot relive the past,
turn back time, which feels almost like centuries

and maybe your feelings are somewhat wavering,
what’s in the remembering?

XII

What’s in the remembering,
about the first passionate kiss,
about the first time in bliss,
about every single thing

that we were doing
about feelings that we could not dismiss,
that the university tried to make their business
looking eye to eye in the wooing,

but then we were aflame
with something much more
than passion something with sincerity
that hit to the heart, went to the centre core
made us explore the intricacies of love,
but at a time I thought you did not like me.

XIII

But at a time I thought you did not like me
while you looked at me in a strange way
and I was more in love than it suited me to say,
to myself I promised to let you be

when at your car we met and you set you long hair free
and I wanted to walk out of your life and away
on that particular day
but sparks in your eyes I did see

and I realised how much I had misread you
before your lips met mine
when I was totally charmed
and the bliss was remarkable and true,
while lips were touching with something divine,
never was I so overwhelmed.

XIV

Never was I so overwhelmed
with love so sincere, so complete
and my eyes, body, heart confirmed
my feelings when we did meet

and your face did glow
as if you had experienced the same thing
and then I did not know
if it was a curse or a blessing

and when I lost you the sheer pain
of how much I missed you, wanted to kiss you
made me think that I would not love again,
turned my whole world to being blue

but here we are again the two of us,
you to whom my feelings are obvious.

XV

You to whom my feelings are obvious,
I saw you long-legged wading into the sea,
from our lounge chairs
we went out and we walked.

At the restaurant we greeted to part,
you were my first sweetheart,
there was sweet serenity,
there was a golden moon in the sky, my love.

I am wondering if I could do it all again,
even if we are absent for days,
taking a honeymoon, being brave,
what’s in the remembering?

But at a time I thought you did not like me,
never was I so overwhelmed.

And If You See Him

(nickolas ashford/valerie simpson)
And if you see him
Tell him I miss him
Tell him I feel so bad
For messing up what we had
And if you see him
Tell him Im sorry
And I regret the day
I let him walk away
And I want to be by his side
And I need his love and pride
And I need him
And if you see him
Tell him Im begging
Ill do a song and dance
Just for a second chance
And if you see him
Tell him just how I look
The circles underneath my eyes
The make up dont seem to hide
And I stay awake every night
And I pray that he just might walk in
And love me
Walk in and love me
I miss him more than hell ever know
Tell him he was
My everything
He was more than just a flame
And I need him
I miss him
And if you see him
Tell him my fire
No, its just wont burn
Till the day that he returns
And I want to be by his side
And I need his love and pride
And if you see him
Tell him Im begging

Oh Say. Can you see? for Friend Thad

Oh say can you see

At night, when I should be sleeping.
From my window slyly peeping
I can see the fairies dance.
Im not afraid to take a chance
that the fairies might see me.
Because I know they are friendly.

They have no reason to fear me.
They do not mind that I can see.
Why should they mind they know quite well
there is nobody I can tell
Who would believe that I had seen
the fairies dancing on the green.

I know that grownups cannot see
what children see so easily
Though adults do not seem to mind
they do not know that they are blind.
Their childish innocence once lost
can’t be replaced at any cost.

So they dismiss as fantasy
the fairies they no longer see.
But in their blindness they insist
that fairy folk do not exist
All children in their wisdom know.
Grown ups are wrong it isn’t so.

Most adults are convinced they’re right
but some few have retained their sight.
They see the world as children see,
Accepting as reality.
the evidence of their own eyes
and you will too if you are wise.

The Way You Want Me

Wont throw no shade on you
Dont wanna put you through
Those lies you lived before
Girl, I can give you more
Baby take my hand
And try to understand
That Ill be here for you
Just the way you want me to
Feel like youre wasting all of your time
Youre going out of your mind
From all the tears youve been crying
And I know all the things hes putting you through
The cheating no one can prove
You never know what to do, yeah
Just tell me what you feel inside
Dont be consumed by foolish pride
cause I can see with my two eyes
The pain that youve been holding tight
Its time that you begin to feel
The kind of love thats really real, yeah
Girl, let me tell you the deal
[chorus]
Its time for you to decide
What you want from your life
No room for compromise
cause I can give you everything that you need
Open your eyes and youll see
That I can set you free, baby
So come to me with your broken heart
Youll feel the love from the very start
I think its time for you to part
From a man that leaves you in the dark
Youre the type that needs romance
Someone to break you from your trance
Now baby here is your chance

I Confess

When I look into the mirror
Just cant believe, what do I see
Theres no wakin from this nightmare
And youre lost in your reality
So you tell me all your secrets
And you tell me that youre innocent
Theres something in your eyes I can see
And my face keeps looking back at me
You confess
You cant help yourself
This living lie that you cant go on
Youre possessed
You cant fool yourself
Youre the crime and you cant go on
Another day, another sorrow
No today and no tomorrow
Try and wash away the shame
And you smile in your picture frame
You had a charmed life, but you think from grace
And youre long gone without a trace
Youre all alone and wonder why
And you laugh when you wanna cry
You confess
You cant help yourself
This living lie that you cant go on
Youre possessed
You cant fool yourself
Youre the crime and you cant go on
You confess
You cant help yourself
This living lie that you cant go on
Youre possessed
You cant fool yourself
Youre the crime and it cant go on
It cant go on
God never spoke to me about your sin
So livin in our lies will test the faith
So cut your straight lines on the mirror
And dip your hands in holy water
Try and wash away the shame
Cuz all youve got is your fathers name
(repeat choruses)

The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of

(carly simon)
Take a look around now
Change the direction
Adjust the tuning
Try a new translation
Dont look at your man in the same old way
Take a new picture
Just because you dont see shooting stars
Doesnt mean it isnt perfect
Cant you see...
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
Its the slow and steady fire
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
Its your heart and souls desire
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
So whats this about your best friend?
Shes got a brand new shiny boy
And theyre moving out to malibu
To play with all his pretty toys
And you feel closed in by the same four walls
The same old conversation
With the same old guy youve know for years
But use your imagination
And you will see....
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
Its the slow and steady fire
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
Its your heart and souls desire
Its the stuff that dreams are made of
What if the prince on the horse in your fairytale
Is right here in disguise
And what if the stars youve been reaching so high for
Are shining in his eyes
Dont look at yourself in the same old way
Take another picture
Shoot the stars off in your own backyard
Dont look any further
And you will see
Its the stuff that dreams are made of....

Tonight could be the last you see!

.

The night is not my enemy. When darkness falls it sets me free.
Thanks to my night adapted eyes.I take my victims by surprise.
Young healthy girls preferably, each one is chosen carefully
It is their choice to walk alone before I claim for my own
I drain their blood efficiently ‘til I have fed sufficiently
Although I know there’s sure to be a hue and cry to search for me
By the time that they are found I will have safely gone to ground
To where my coffin waits for me. I sleep peacefully
Until the sun sets in the west then I resume my nightly quest.
I stalk the city stealthily and find fresh victims easily.
Although the old legends persist they don’t believe vampires exist.
Until the night they catch my eye. Then they believe before they die.
I have to kill to satisfy the burning thirst I can’t deny
I do not slay for cruelty.I need their blood to sustain me
I am as I was meant to be. The predator you do not see
until the night you meet your fate. You may not have too long to wait
It could be you I choose tonight to satisfy my appetite.
If you are wise you’ll stay indoor, safe from night prowling predators.
I don’t suppose you’ll pay much heed. Humans are a stubborn breed

Don’t Be Left Not Knowing

You’ll never know until you do, ask The Lord to rescue you,
From a life of sin and shame, when you call upon His name;
You’ll never know God’s Love, until He reaches from above,
To lift you from the angry waves, as another soul He saves.

It’s Jesus Christ and only Him, who can rescue us from sin,
To alter your present destiny, through the Cross of Calvary;
A destiny that ends not here, but, in Heaven’s Atmosphere,
The place that only you can go, if The Lord, you truly know.

If Truth, you’ve never heard, just open up God’s Holy Word,
You’ll see with your own eyes, as Truth from the pages rise,
When you open up your heart, Truth God’s Spirit will impart,
To guide you in Truth you read, as you let God’s Spirit lead.

Truth alone will set you free, open your eyes and you’ll see,
What Truth, you may not know, The Scriptures clearly show,
God’s Truth is a sure foundation, of New Life and Salvation,
New Life provided by Grace, when Christ you truly embrace.

From God’s Truth you will know, as God helps you to grow,
That everything, in this life, is held together by Jesus Christ;
Don’t be left not knowing friend, about a life you can spend,
With The Lord Jesus Christ, in an eternity, know as Paradise.

Yesterdays Letter

I wrote a letter yesterday
Just trying to explain
Couldnt find the words to say
Cause you are so far away, so far away
I wrote a letter yesterday
Its so hard for me to face
That it had to end this way
But my love will never change, will never change
When I search my soul to find the truth
About the love we shared
I wonder why youre no longer here
You can just walk away
But I dont feel the same
My heart still beats for you
Craves for you
Sings for you
And those feelings will never fade
I cant hide my pain
I can never hide the way I feel for you
Ive been talking in my sleep
About the way it used to be
Girl I pray that you hear me
Then Ill see you in my dreams
Oh, in my dreams
Well I cant forget the words you said
To pull away from my life
And no matter what Ill carry you inside
You can just walk away
But I dont feel the same
My heart still beats for you, breaks for you, sinks for you
And those feelings will never fade
I cant hide my pain
I can never hide the way I feel for you
Sooner or later your gonna realize
That this type of love happens once in your life
So open your eyes girl
And see what we could be
You can just walk away
But I dont feel the same
My heart still beats for you, breaks for you, sinks for you
And those feelings will never fade
I cant hide my pain
I can never hide the way I feel for you
You can just walk away
But I dont feel the same
My heart still beats for you, breaks for you, sinks for you
And those feelings will never fade
I cant hide my pain
I can never hide the way I feel for you

Upon the Kings happy return from Scotland

So breaks the day when the returning Sun
Hath newly through his Winter Tropick run,
As You (Great Sir!) in this regress come forth
From the remoter Climate of the North.
To tell You now what cares, what fears we past,
What Clouds of sorrow did the land ore-cast,
Were lost, but unto such as have been there
Where the absented Sun benights the year:
Or have those Countreys traveld which nere feel
The warmth and vertue of his flaming wheel.
How happy yet were we! that when you went,
You left within your Kingdomes firmament
A Partner-Light, whose lustre may despise
The nightly glimm'ring Tapers of the skies,
Your peerless Queen; and at each hand a Starre
Whose hopeful beams from You enkindled are.
Though (to say truth) the light which they could bring
Serv'd but to lengthen out our evening.
Heavens greater lamps illumine it; each spark
Adds onely this, to make the sky less dark.
Nay She who is the glory of her sex
Did sadly droop for lack of Your reflex:
Oft did She her fair brow in loneness shrowd,
And dimly shone, like Venus in a cloud.
Now are those gloomy mists dry'd up by You,
As the Worlds eye scatters the Ev'ning dew:
And You bring home that blessing to the land
Which absence made us rightly understand.
Here may You henceforth stay! there need no charms
To hold You, but the circle of her arms,
Whose fruitful love yields You a rich increase,
Seales of Your joy, and of the kingdomes peace.
O may those precious pledges fixe You here,
And You grow old within that chrystall Sphere!
Pardon this bold detention. Else our love
Will meerly an officious trouble prove.
Each busie minute tells us as it flies,
That there are better objects for your eyes.
To them let us leave you, whil'st we go pray,
Raising this triumph to a Holy-day.
And may that soul the Churches blessing want;
May his content be short, his comforts scant,
Whose Bosom-Altar does no incense burn,
In thankful sacrifice for your return.

Sunset

I know you are not cruel,
And you would not willingly hurt anything in the world.
There is kindness in your eyes,
There could not very well be more of it in eyes
Already brimful of the sky.
I thought you would some day begin to love me,
But now I doubt it badly;
It is no man-rival I am afraid of,
It is God.

The meadows are very wide and green,
And the big field of wheat is solid gold,
Or a little darker than gold.
Two people never sat like us by a fence of cedar rails
On a still evening
And looked at such fat fields.
To me it is beautiful enough,
I am stirred,

I say grand and wonderful, and grow adjectival,
But to you
It is God.

Cropping the clover are several spotted cows.
They too are kind and gentle,
And they stop and look round at me now and then
As if they would say:
'How good of you to come to see us!
Please pardon us if we seem indifferent,
But we have not much time to talk with you now,
And really nothing to say.'
Then they make their bow,
Still kind and calm,
And go their way again
Towards the sunset.
I suppose they are going to God.

Your eyes are not regarding me,
Nor the four-leaf clovers I picked for you,
(With a prayer and a gentle squeeze for each of them),
Nor are they fretting over dress, and shoes,
And image in the little glass,
Restlessly,
Like the eyes of other girls.

You are looking away over yonder
To where the crooked rail-fence gets to the top
Of the yellow hill
And drops out of sight
Into space.
Is that infinity that catches it?
And do you catch it too in your thoughts?
I know that look;
I have not seen it on another girl;
And it terrifies me,
For I cannot tell what it means,
But I think
It has something to do with God.

We are a mile from home,
And soon it will be getting dark,
And the big farm-bell will be ringing out for supper.
We had better start for the house.
Rover!
O here he is, waiting.
He has chased the rabbits and run after the birds
A thousand miles or so,
And now he is hungry and tired.
But he is a southern gentleman

And will not whimper once
Though you kept him waiting forever.
He knows his mistress' eyes as well as I,
And when to be silent and respectful.
I will try to be as patient as Rover,
And we will be comrades and wait,
Unquestioningly,
Till this lady we love
And her strange eyes
Come home from God.

Close Your Eyes, My Angel

Close your eyes, my angel,
For now, you will see,
The wonderful, peaceful world
That once used to be.

Close your eyes, my angel,
In that world, you will feel
Gentle hands of love and
Laughter, for wounds to heal.

Close your eyes, my angel,
Your feet will take you where
No angel has ever returned from
And no pain shall trouble you there.

So close your eyes, my angel,
Here, your memories shall remain just
For that was where you came from
And that is where you shall rest!

I Can See Forever In Your Eyes

(bob dipiero)
Touch me and I feel your fire
Kiss me and the flame rolls higher
Show me all the love you know
Hold me never let me go
I never thought Id be
Wrapped in the words
Of your sweet, sweet love
But here you are with me
This is what dreams are made of
Chorus:
I can see forever in your eyes
I can see a love that never dies
When you lay me down I realize
I can see forever in your eyes
Take me in your arms tonight
Love me with all your might
Give me all my heart can hold
Hold me never let me go
Love was mystery
Until you touched me with sweet, sweet love
Now its so clear to me
This is what love is made of
Repeat chorus x2

Sailing In The Depths Of Your Eyes

When u look at me, your eyes are shinning,
I see the sparkle of happiness in their glow,
I want to sink in the depths of your eyes,
And lose myself in the infinite love you hold.

I am your dropp of happiness in the ocean of life,
Holding me near your heart you brought me warmth,
Like an unique treasure you got me this life time,
That you never want to give or to lose.

Nothing makes me happy as your eyes do,
I see so much love and hope in them,
I am sailing in them to your harbour,
I want to lose in your eyes and never to find my way back home.

I want be there forever in this magic.
Of your beautiful brown shinning eyes,
I'll never stop loving you my darling,
And always sailing in the depths of your eyes.

We are the SWARM

This is who we are, nothing quite like it, nothing
This is coming to a culture that everything is cross-eyed

Open your eyes
We'll be the ones that set civilization back
Open your eyes find out that you're what you see
This won't be the last of us this, this passion

Squirming away, stop eating nothing

We are the swarm that rapes and tricks
This is who we are
The swarm that rapes
Mother Earth

Spreading disease

You'll see us
Salvation, won't you let me
What's that? Your gods will say

Open my eyes find nothing that we can
Answer the swarm
This is prophecy played out.

This is just who we are, the swarm
This is who we are, this is what we do

Rape
This is coming to destruction, you see everything is cross-eyed
Rape
