Something for someone new
I'm lying here thinking
about the way i feel
understanding we could build
something so real.
I envy the look resting
in the depths of your eyes
it speaks of honesty
instead of some lies
you make me understand
things i thought i knew
i'm so glad,
that i've met you
i'm glad that you, too, came
from an aweful past
'Cause maybe you'll help me
to move on at last
I hope that you feel
the same way i do
and that you want me
