Blizzard of 2006

Snow, Snow, and More Snow,
when will you stop!
Of the flakes you do drop.

The Blizzard of 2006,
so much snow has fell,
many people stranded and in a fix

Here in Denver, stuck in traffic,
slipping and sliding, oh so slick,
if i have a wreck, how tragic.

Closed highways, people stranded,
this is on storm, not to forget,
finally at home, here we have landed.

Happy New Year,2006

Born is A New Year!
Gone is an old year;
Let’s add new cheer,
Live without fear.

Greet your neighbors;
Greet some strangers;
Greet all your friends;
And make amends.

’Tis never late
To change one’s fate;
Problems abate:
Wait for that date.

Forget past woes;
Forget chaos;
With hope, of course:
Thus, our life goes.

Abide in God;
Await His nod;
Avoid His rod,
And thank the Lord.

When God's with us,
There is no curse;
Walk without fuss;
He sure will bless.

[01] October 2006

Some dates of an October wiped up
When Cell-phones went beyond network
Suddenly some souls became paler
Moons appeared fading, bells mump
Cloud slept alone to the northern sky!

On the mind-way a line was dissolving
Between yellow fair and sparkle unfair
Buds were sprouting from the high-rises
Something was beaming within chilly blood
In the glossy evenings of unkind October.

October 2006 had a unique flavor
with assorted taste
Like a box of 31 dissimilar backed nuts
with testing salt!

Whisper on the Breeze 0258 2006 Version

Let's soar beyond ground limits, spread the spore
of present joys till Death destroys all we
could - would attain unchained. Life's mystery,
what lingers when Time fingers? no encore.
We little store transmit, on Earth no more
than memories, swirled winds whirl wild sigh seas.
Seize wishful thinking whisper on the breeze,
some soothing raindrops sent in summer pour,
to mine mind sense, some season's reason for
our quest, which questions inks, thinks answers sees
while surfing superficiality
for life's chromatic scale, some ciphered score.
Let all together seek the secret key
to life's myrrh music, stirring symphony.

Sonnet: State Elections in Tamil Nadu,2006

Some leaders think they’re made by own effort;
Some try predicting election results;
Wealth ill-gotten, some think voters are dirt;
New leaders, God uniquely catapults!

But leaders come to rule by Will of God;
If bad, they bring about their own downfall;
Some even get a ruthless earthly rod;
Some good ones listen to God’s early call!

Accursed are they who hurt their poor brethren;
God spares no one for making grievous faults;
The righteous rule for long and get heaven;
The honest, humble-hearted, God pole-vaults!

The head that wears the crown must wisely rule;
The proud and evil-minded turns a fool!

Sonnet: Mother’s Day,2006!

O earthly mother, you are truly great!
You’re wife to one who’as nobler in much ways;
You reared a family so well till date;
May God give you good health in your last days!

O earthly lady, hallowed be thine womb!
What sufferings you underwent for us!
May God give you more useful years ’fore tomb!
Through you, so many miracles, God does.

O noble soul of love, may God bless you!
Your love and care is just incomparable;
You toiled unceasingly for others too;
Our mother dear, you were so capable!

I pray God gives you some more years of joy!
I am so glad to be your youngest boy!

Merry Christmas 2006

Christmas is coming, will be so much love
In spirit mom will be here, from up above
My sons are coming home again this year
Maybe i can get through this without a tear

Christmas time has held so much pain before
I'm determined to be happy, and not make it a chore
I can't help thinking, about my mom
I'ts hard to believe, two years she's been gone

I'm going to fight depression as it tries to seep in
I'll be thanking god for my many blessings within
Just thinking about everything, could bring tears
We'll all be together, the past should've been buried for years

Christmas for me, means love and peace
Because in my life, i've been given a new lease
Wish the whole world, could just love for one day
Stop fighting and have peace, is what i pray

I've seen many miracles in my life
So maybe a miracle, could end world strife
Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you
I wish you happiness and that loves shines through!

Merry Christmas

Memphis 2006

MEMPHIS 2006

Springtime in Memphis Tennessee,

traveling with friend

last named pronounced Lee.

Stopping at a coffee bar,

taking photos with local star.

Then going to river named Mississippi,

taking sideway photos of Melodie.

Then off to Elvis’s daughters plane,

“Lisa Marie” across from Graceland.

Brick wall with graffiti by fans for the King,

just plain writing with no sparkling bling.

Elvis's mansion surrounded by gate,

store nearby with Elvis plate.

And of course an Elvis toy,

given as gift for girl or boy.

Razel did take photo with King,

she got a kiss, but wanted a fling.

Then up north from there is downtown,

we stopped and listened to Jazz all around.

Razel took photos with 'singers of the blues',

she posed sideways with no shoes,

singers laughing totally amused.

Then Razel took a 1 hr snooze,

while driving to Florida to get on a cruise.

Memphis was fun don’t get me wrong,

this is the place where Elvis still sings his songs.

Happy Easter 2006!

A poor lamb cries incessantly: it’s tied!
It knows its heading to the slaughter-house!
It can’t escape: they’d raised it for this sake;
It weeps for mercy: but ’tis its last ride!

The Lamb of God- Jesus suffered like-wise!
The sins of mankind gave him Death by Cross;
Redeeming sinners was His Father’s Will;
At Calvary, He paid the precious price.

Christ uttered not a single cry for woes;
His example was silent obedience;
His Father’s errand stood before His eyes;
He pleaded God to forgive all his foes.

If He had wished, he could have changed his fate!
His divine pow’rs could have come to his aid;
His Messianic Mission was supreme;
He trounced the devils, death: and reached God’s gate.

The endless love of God for souls is clear;
Heaven is open now to sinners too
Who ask God’s pardon for their sins: REPENT;
The Savior brought heaven to all so near!

Oh, what a joyful Feast is Easter then!
The righteous die to live eternally!
The Breath of Life that came by Maker’s Word
Desires that all should enter Heaven!
“Wish you all a Happy Easter,2006! ”

Bee Lines - Revised Version October 2006

Past and Present's argument:
busy bee belligerent
pollen gummy complement
bagged we present, buzzing by.

Season spent, none can prevent
destiny's predicament
when hive honey government
planned obsolescent workers die.

Sediment by sediment,
shows history self-evident,
defines Time's judgement - no postponement,
no atonement, ‘vein' appeals deny.

Inconsequent experiment, -
memory once fulgurant,
lacking, runny, insouciant
semi-senescent, streams awry.

I came, I went - to what intent?
R.I.P. advertisement?
Time's jokes, sad-funny, represent
transient moment's magician fly.

Permanent no monument.
‘Ici gît' lost figurant,
sad or sunny temperament -
No recommencement, - Death draws nigh.

Heaven sent or Hell's descent?
Seeking key see reverent
Christian, Sunni for portent
all-omniscient search the sky.

Sojourn tent is non-event.
Time flies by, moon gib, crescent.
Fame's gin, rummy, trump-trap vent
turns acescent, none know why.

Sentiment harsh, well-meant,
share same sigh, acquiescent,
proud or puny, soon repent,
share same statement - shroud cowed lie.

Cold, confident, or bland, ament,
trembling shy, bold, insolent,
see aims crumbly fade, fragment,
hopes delitescent ossify.

Circumvent predicament?
Though all try - fool and pedant -
jester dummy document,
share passing cry.

Life is lent, fleet fleece rent:
mortality deliquescent,
scoffs at monied supplement -
soon putrescent, low and high.

So, no comment. Evanescent
humanity effervescent,
you and I, represent
torment lament: born to die.

World Cup 2006

Zidane, Zidane
Is still the man!
Thierry Henry,
Hurry, Hurry

Roberto, Ronaldo, Ronaldino
Seemed to have forgotten the lingo

In the beginning they all said Brazil
Whilst they played their first game
Most played with piddling zeal
Predictions made only upon their name

The host country Germany
Displayed a talent of many
Their expressive style, worth every penny
They played with a lot of wit
And their strikers’ chest stuck out fit

Let me not be cynical
About a country like Portugal
They passed beautifully rhythmical
Their tackles and dribbles were lyrical
But their talented midfielder
Was not a natural goal yielder
Perhaps I can scribble
He was in good in a dribble

England, England, I wish they could understand
Previously there was all the fuss about a striker’s foot
I would have told the coach to give that player the boot
On International level for a player to get a red card
Is an unforgivable mistake deemed as classically mad!

The football players for Ghana
Conducted themselves in such a manner
That made us all proud of Africa
And South America
Can say the same for Argentina
After being hailed on by Maradonna

To Mexico
I say fantastico!

And the romantic country France
They have shown the importance
Of playing solidly as a team
To achieve a golden dream

Who would have guessed Italy?
With all the hype about match fixes
But football is not chess or monopoly
This was World Cup thousand and six

They completely
Dominated the Game
Hence Italy
Have regained their fame!

World Cup two thousand and six
I assure you was no fix
