Letter to Heaven
This is sent with my complete honesty
A sent prayer, a wish of modesty
Are you there?
Do you care?
It seems like I’ve lost touch with you,
So now I let my heart speak true
Years I blocked you out
Will you hear now I shout?
A thought, silent plea
Let your love cover me
My sins be forgiven
My determination driven
I cast this out into the night
Hope an angel catches it in flight
