Leaving Sorrow
Holding my breath
At the bottom of the sea
Where I keep my secrets
In a treasure chest.
I have drowned Sorrow
In an ocean of regret,
Tied her firm
To that treasure chest.
I break the surface
And take a new breath,
Leaving Sorrow
Far below.
