A Girl And The Moon
A girl sits on a hilltop
In the middle of the night
She tries to hold back tears
She tries with all her might
But yet some tears excape
And fall and hit the ground
She looks to her left and right
To make sure no ones around
'Hello Mr. Moon
Can you please lend an ear?
I have to speak softly
So no one will hear
'I have a problem Mr. Moon
And I dont know what to do
You see, Mr.Moon, I dont love one man
But I love two
'One man is an old love
While the other is a new
Please Mr. Moon
What should I do? '
The girl went on talking
While the moon made no sound
The girl look up at the moon
While she sat there on the ground
The girl finally came to a conclusion
After she thought about it for a while
She got up, wiped her tears away
And put on a beautiful smile
'Thank you, Mr. Moon,
For lending me an ear
Even though you made no sound
I still knew you were here
'You helped me think about each man
And what I need to do
I'll make the right decision
And its all thanks to you.'
