How can it be?
How can this exist
in today's world?
Is this not
miraculous Twentieth Century?
Do we not live
in an unprecedented age?
An age of revelation.
Are not signs and wonders
seen in hail heavens?
Man has tread
lunar dust
beneath his feet?
Viewed a never before seen
dark side of orbit moon?
Sent probes past
Venus Jupiter
through romantic rings of Saturn.
On voyages to burning suns
that once were twinkling stars.
So how can this be?
Answer question
Lord of Creation!
The prayers!
The midnight call of man!
Here in Middle East
where time is old.
Birth place of artisan
culture learning.
Ancient, wondrous,
civilizations, carved
in monolithic scale, from living rock.
With inspiration dreams
reaching heights,
that can not die. Forever stands.
How can
it still
be how?
I can
not yet
I understand!
Greed; depths
craving wealth;
lust. Fleeced
hearts are driven
