The Answers Are Too Many To Be Said

i must tell you
about this trip

do not ask about
what's next

look behind us
they already burned the bridge

look over there
the house where we
live
cannot be seen anymore

do not ask where
is next

i am not sad
there are so many reasons
for excitement

you see
we have no more of that past

it is the bridge and the house
we do not need them

you see
we have so many places to go

the mind is our own
companion
creator

and imagination is
infinite

do not ask me
where we are going

the answers are too many
to be said

Love Has A Mind Of Its Own

Think about me and you
Think of all the changes weve
Been through
The laughter an the tears, the
Years together
Little did we both know
When we fell we gave up all control
Though times get hard
Were strong enough to carry on
cause
Love has a mind of its own
It moves in its own circles
And it roams where it will roam
Love has a mind of its own
It holds our lives together
Youre my heart, youre my home
(I) stayed awake last night
Told myself that this time we were
Through
That passion wasnt pair, my heart
Had changed
But then in the morning light
The feeling cut me like a knife
And then I knew
I couldnt walk away from you
cause
Love has a mind of its own
It moves in its own circles
And it roams where it will roam
Love has a mind of its own
It holds our lives together
Youre my heart, youre my home
We can drive ourselves so far apart
The world gets in between
Before you know, the distance grows
Till never we lose sight of the dream
But the wonder of it all
Is how love will survive
It never fails to keep us going
It never fails to keep us alive
cause
Love has a mind of its own
It moves in its own circles
And it roams where it will roam
Love has a mind of its own
It holds our lives together
Youre my heart, youre my home
Love has a mind of its own
It moves in its own circles
And it roams where it will roam
Love has a mind of its own
It holds our lives together
Youre my heart, youre my home

In Pursuit Of Dreams Not Our Own

Misunderstood in our ambitions.
Bound- Pursuing dreams not our own.
Possessed by demons of inhibitions.
Vainly pursuing dreams not our own.

Our true desires scorned in misunderstanding.
In vain, Walking through this fog, Down this path of destiny-
While within are dreams still withstanding-
To fulfill a destiny of our own, And break free.
Longing for understanding-
To embrace our unique identity…

This Was Not Our Destiny

This was not our destiny, that union with the beloved would take place.
If we had kept on living longer, then would have been kept waiting

If I lived on your promise, then know this that I knew it to be false
For would I not have died of happiness, if I had had trust [in it]?

From your delicacy I knew that the vow had been bound loosely
You could never have broken it, if it had been firm

Let someone ask my heart about your half-drawn arrow
Where would this anxiety/ pain have come from, if it had gone through the liver?

What kind of friendship is this, that friends have become Advisors?
If someone had been a healer, if someone had been a sympathizer!

From the rock-vein would drip that blood which would never have stopped
If this which you are considering 'grief' this were just a spark

Although grief is life-threatening, how would we escape, while there is a heart?

If there were not the grief of passion, there would be the grief of livelihood

To whom might I say what it is- the night of sadness is a bad disaster!
Why would I have minded dying, if it took place one time?

Since upon having died, I became disgraced- why were I not drowned in the ocean?
Neither a funeral procession would ever been formed, nor would there anywhere be a tomb

Who can see him? for that Oneness is unique
If there were even a whiff of twoness, then somehow [He] would be two or four

These problems of mysticism! this discourse of yours, Ghalib!
We would consider you a saint- if you weren't a wine-drinker.

Minding Our Own Business

The universal warrior.
The ordinary fighting man
existing since the world began
A doer not a worrier.

He does as he is ordered to.
Its not his place to question why
The many ordered by the few.
His duty is to do or die.

The politicians and the brass
issue commands which he obeys
Its always been this way alas
and will be ‘til we change our ways.

Why should they send young men to fight
and die in some far distant land.
To try and prove that might is right.
Why can’t our leaders understand.

Each country is entitled to
govern their land in their own way
Theres very little we can do
We cannot force them to obey.

However much we disagree,
we have no right we can’t dictate.
they must accept democracy.
Each is an independent state.

Our leaders ought to concentrate
on problems in our own countries
Address them now they cannot wait
Re stabilise economies.

Its not our place to interfere
on other countries home affairs
Past history makes this quite clear.
We have our problems they have theirs.

The evidence is plain to see
.Each country gets the government
they will accept eventually
By trial and experiment.

Although we think our way the best
it will not do for everyone.
So in our own best interest
We must learn to leave things alone.

Democracy is not perfect
Although we may pretend it is.
It is the best we can expect
although its rather hit or miss.

It is the best we can devise
as long as human nature rules.
We lack the knowledge to be wise.
We are a race of clever fools.

Our Own Grave

We dug our own grave
We simply surrendered and gave
All our freedom and sovereignty
It was bad on our to show inability

They have only exploited situation
We are to be blamed for its continuation
Even after so many years of freedom
Have we ever felt its test seldom?

We blame the invaders for doing wrong on our country
But we never point out the disunity and feel pity
Even today we are pulling our own legs
Every one is known by different tags

We may offer great sacrifices but of no avail
The situation may still be grim and prevail
Why all bloody wars have failed to deliver results?
The nation has remained under domination with insults

We focus only on atrocities committed in past
We have no courage to point out lapses but cast only doubt
Who cares for the country’s future division?
Only we invite enemies for further invasion

Now they may not come with huge armies to invade
They will make you slave by offering trade
Whole system may be bugged to weaken base
You may then have no time to come out of it and chase

When you are under economic domination
Whole of the countries affair may be subject to question
You may have no say in international affairs
No one may see you with respect and offer chair

Many countries have rolled under financial burdens
They have bartered national interest with stance hardened
Country remains poor along with large population
Bulk of them hardly meet requirements in relation

Country need to be self sufficient in all respects
Young, old and alike must come out strong with acts
If we can manage our own affairs and stand
Nobody on earth can subdue us but remain as friend

We Do Not Outgrow Our Own Sadnesses

WE DO NOT OUTGROW OUR OWN SADNESSES

We do not outgrow our own Sadnesses
We remain lost in them.
No matter how far
We wander from home-

Life is not easy
And we wherever we are
Suffer the sadnesses
We have borne as ourselves
From the beginning.

How we get by
How we manage to get through the world
A mystery each answers in his own way-

Blessedness- or not.

This Is Not a Motel

The moment you said to me,
You needed more time to find yourself...
I didn't expect to see you back here so soon.
That's why I cleaned out your room.
And sold some things!
The rest,
As you can see...
I threw away.
Oh...
I'm sorry!
I don't mean to be rude.
This is my new lover.
And we are blessed,
Not to have a problem...
Knowing exactly where we are.
You're welcomed to come in...
If you would like to.

'Wow.
I didn't think you would change like this.
So quickly.'

Hey...
What can I say?
If you needed more than twenty four hours...
You should have called.
This is not a motel,
Where you can come as you choose to be serviced.

You needed time to find yourself?
I hope you were successful?

Roses Growing In Our Own Prison Walls

this is the situation,
soon you will find
you live in prison walls,
and those who see you
tell you
you have no God.

perhaps they say that
since they see no
icons on our walls
we bow not
to sunsets
we make no wooden
crosses

oh, let us tell them
we've grown roses in our prison walls
on the fertile grounds
of our heart
we speak to God
in our poetry
with all the silence and
gentleness
and patience of the
snail

we have gone beyond
wood, and stone,
and images,
we have passed through
all these walls
man-made as they are,
we have jumped over the
fences of
the flesh, and they who use
their eyes
in the middle of their own
human light
do not see

we, have, only,
hearts.
we, are, pure,
hearts.
we, are, love,
solitude,
in privacy with
our God.

This Is Not Love

Winds howled. rains spit down.
All these nights playing precious games.
Cheap hotel in some seaboard town
Closed down for the winter and whispered names.
Puppy-dog waves on a big moon sea
Snap our heels half-heartedly
And how come you know better than me
That this is not love.
No, this is not love.
Empty drugstore postcards freeze
Sunburst images of summers gone.
Think I see us in these promenade days
Before we learned octobers song.
Out on the headland, one gale-whipped tree;
Curious, head bent to see.
And how come you know better than me
That this is not love.
Down to the sad south, smokey plumes
Mark that real world city home.
Broken spells and silent gloom
Ooze from that concrete honeycomb.
Puppy-dog waves on a big moon sea
Snapped our heels half-heartedly
And how come you know better than me
That this is not love.

Escape From This Is Not Possible

Our lives are being subsidized,
To pay for their guilts.
And to minimize their disgrace.

Poor judgements and bad tastes,
Devalued treasures taken.
With faked faces,
Great thefts took place.
Now we help build shadows,
To rake over the filth...
Laced with steps to them traced.

Our lives are being subsidized,
To pay for their guilts.
And to minimize their disgrace.

Escape from this is not possible.
Depleted is a patience,
To correct their own misdeeds.
Reflecting an accepting,
Way of life known that has come to be.

We pay!
They take!
That's how it is.
With hopes that a bleeding,
Retreats.

We pay!
They take!
That's how it is.
In preparation,
For lessons like these...
To repeat!

Implanted in mindsets,
Are bred activities...
To continue like this to live and breathe.

We pay!
They take!
That's how it is.
In preparation,
For lessons like these...
To repeat!

Trust Me! This Is Not a Dichotomy

Trust me.
When I get through with you...
You are going to wish,
You had not spent your time
Trying to find ways to screw me.
Especially unsolicited.
And that's not a threat or a wish!
That is just a fact of life,
You are soon going to be dealing with!
You see,
God and I are 'tight'!
Closer than skin on bone.
Closer than the blood flowing through my veins!
Closer than any vanity that remains in your head.
Hear me when this is said:

'God has been my Lover,
Long before you had expressed an interest...
To see me defeated!
That is not going to happen.
Because God has got my back!
And my soul with Him is intact!
Did you hear that?
And my eyes are not the only ones...
That have been laid on you!
The attention due for your misdeeds,
Is going to come with no misunderstanding
None...
Whatsoever, indeed!
As to 'who' and where it comes from!
You will get what you deserve special delivered!
Trust me!
This is not a dichotomy.

This Is Not My Life

Written by miles zuniga
This, this is not my life
This, this is not my life
This is not my face,
This is not my place, no its just isnt right
This, this is not my life
You, do you remember me?
Remember, the way that it used to be.
Do you remember our car,
Do you remember our house,
Do you remember what it was like
Cause this, this is not my life
Chorus:
My life, my life, (now I live in the shadows)
My life, my life, (because you are my life)
My life, my life,
My life
Youre the only one, who can see, the real me
Youre the only one, cant you see, cant you see...
You took away my world
You took away my world
You took away my smile,
You took away my life,
You took away my reason to live
You, you took away my world
And this is not my life
And this is not my life
Chorus:
My life, my life, (cause now I live in the shadows)
My life, my life, (because you are my life)
My life, my life, (and now its endless night)
My life, my life, (and this is not my life)
My life, my life,
My life, my life

A Little Luck Of Our Own

The cards are stacking up against us
These days our luck is running low
It's hard to explain but a little bit of rain
Seems to follow us wherever we go
Black cat sittin' on a ladder
Broken mirror on the wall
We're not a bit superstitious
No need to worry at all
'Cause when we can't roll a seven
And our last lucky penny is gone
This world can be tough
But I know when our love is this strong
We can make a little luck of our own, luck of our own
The storm is only temporary
But you and I are here to stay
Baby can't you see true love is all we need
So just throw that rabbit's foot away
'Cause when we can't roll a seven
And our last lucky penny is gone
This world can be tough
But I know when our love is this strong
We can make a little luck of our own
Oh we can make it baby
'Cause when we can't roll a seven
And our last lucky penny is gone
This world can be tough
But I know our love is this strong
We can make a little luck of our own
We can make a little luck of our own
Yeah, yeah
Oooh we can make it baby
Make a little luck of our own

We Are Warriors Of Our Own Life

Depressions are the games of minds…
A journey through the eyes of the believer
Soul breaking is sometimes so awful
Brave on… and face the odds upfront
The smile that melts the heart

Some conversation can be pleasant
Will last for long in our minds
We are here to fill…
The emptiness of the life's stage
Carry on with normal life
Sometimes…..
We have to take what we hated most
The bitterness and the pains

Love is complex and complicated....
But once you have had it
Its going to be a rollercoaster ride.....
All the way
A tear is a sign of purity
Love is a many splendid things…
A plain life is a real life
Sweet surrender of words that heal....
The world is the stage and we are the actors
A book is my world…
A friend in needs is a friend…..
We greet to a good deeds
A true friend will give you money
When u don't have none
Its like……….
Father to child bonding
Holy and sacred

Fate is something written
Upon our faces but we can not see
Sins of depleted innocence
Suicidal inflicted by courage to die.....
We’re warriors of our own life

Were Living In Our Own Time

Maurice white, michael colombier & allee willis
I feel it in the night
I hear a whisper, a ray of light
A flash across the sky
Through the window in my eyes
A bolt of thunder
Exploding in my mind
Is it real, what I feel
Its just like floating away
While the moon floods the room
I can hear music start to play
I see it on your face
Oh, what a difference lovin can make
Silence of the dark, words are falling
From my heart
Its all around us
My thoughts are calling
Imagination is born when loves alive
A spirit creating a place for you and i
Together lets ride away to find the universe
And let our dreams live our lives
Living in our own time
You are the answer
Loving on our own time
We found the answer
Hiding in the midnight
Now Im so willing to discover
Believing forever touching each other
Nothing out there can stop us tonight
All that were feeling so right
You mean so much to me
I feel so wanted, but still so free
The warmth of your embrace
I know time will not erase
Making it easy to go loving
You are the answer
Loving on our own time
We found the answer
Hiding in the midnight

This Is Not Your Country

Road blocks and fire
Barb wire upon barb wire
This is not your country
Armoured cars, corrugated scars
Grafitti scrawls:
This is not your country
Home sweet fortress
Gunshot - we hate your kind
Get back !
This is not your country
I need some air
And Im stopped and repeatedly questioned:
Born and raised ?
But this is not my country
Were old news
Alls well
Say bbc scum
One child shot, but so what ?
Laid my son
In a box, three feet long
And I still dont know why
A short walk home becomes a run
And Im scared
In my own country
Were old news
Alls well
Say bbc scum
Everybodys under control
Of our surveillance globes
Were old news
Alls well
And thirty years could be a thousand
And this peugeot ad
Spins round in my head
British soldier pointing a gun
And Im only trying to post a letter
A short walk home becomes a run
And Im scared, and Im scared, I am scared
Old news
Alls well
Bbc scum
Youve got more than the dead, so zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Youve got more than the dead, so zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth
Youve got more than the dead, so zip up your mouth
Zip up your mouth

Glad This Is Not My Issue

I have never been accused,
Of being patriotic.
Devoted or loyal.
Nor sacrificial to others' needs.

Whether known or not...
These activities,
Do not from other lips speak.

It has never been discussed,
How I would rush to the aid of others.
And entertain them with foolishness,
Just to see a smile come across their lips.

Although I've been called stupid on many occasions.

It has never been expressed,
My desire to do my very best.
Or to implement with discipline,
The tackling done of obstacles that come to test.

Yet...
It has been said,
I think I'm better than the rest.
Trying to impress.

I have heard comments stated in my face,
To berate what is I've attempted to do.
To then have it said...
I do what I do to seek attention.
As if there is something I need to prove.

'Can we all say, Lun-a-tic? '

And the more I value the quietness of my peace,
In a privacy I seek to protect...
I hear it said that I am lonely, eccentric and seeking friends.
And a public attention is what I address.

As I age,
I thank God my time has been spent...
In the validation of those things important.
And the sharing of events with those loved who are close.
If I had not...
I would not know whose life it is to live!
Or which of those with mental illnesses needing focus the most!

I am glad this is not my issue.
And I've got them too.
But not on these levels.

On Our Own

If you want something done you gotta do it yourself .
Yeah, I think this is gonna be another one of those funky ones.
Heart, soul, hit, hit, dance.
If I was you and you were me, youd wanna be winning.
If you want something better youre gonna wanna give your all.
cause I believe so much as we.
You know Im not kidding if you feel the same as me, yall.
Youre gonna wanna take the ball.
Now I found out that nothing is given, dont know where the cards may fall.
All I know is that weve gotta get it. weve gotta make it on our own.
Well, I guess were gonna have to take control. oh, oh, woah, oh!
If its up to us, weve got to take it home. oh, oh, woah, oh!
Now cant you see that all you need.
To be a go-getter. gotta make your own decisions, gotta go for what you know.
There comes a time in our lives; you wanna be bigger.
You gotta keep, keep on pushing. you gotta learn to take control.
Well, I guess were gonna have to take control. oh, oh, woah, oh!
If its up to us, weve got to take it home.
Gotta, gotta take it home. gotta, gotta, gotta take it home.
Heart, soul, hit, hit, dance.
Too hot to handle, too cold to hold.
They call the ghostbusters and theyre in control.
Had them throwing a party for a bunch of children.
When all the while, the slime was under the building.
So they packed up, regrouped, got a grip, camera quick.
Grabbed their proton packs on their backs and they split.
Found out about vigo, the master of evil.
Try to battle my boys, thats not legal. oh, oh, woah, oh!
Theyre in control. oh, oh, woah, oh!
Hit, hit, ya know it. oh, oh, woah, oh!
{fade--}

This is not my face/Ovo nije moje lice

This is not my face
This thing oozing out of your insipid reflection theories
When you're putting it into A is A A is B B is C

You know
C is maybe a newly born naked
Syllogism pointing at a tzar
So that you can ask him ask him
‘Tzar tzar oh master tell us what's the time'
And the tzar cannot hear you for he's got a goat's ears

This is not my face
This thing you're folding after you've ironed it
And placed it among the skirts trousers and shirts

You know
A shirt is perhaps a flag of my home
Put on a post to limit the borders of pain
So that you may ask it ask it
‘Does it hurt does it hurt tell us what's the time'
And the pain cannot hear you for its ears are cut

This is not my face
This thing you're turning to see it from each side
Whenever you turn it from A to B from B to C

You know
C is perhaps just a point without a face
Thrown into the universe
A monada looking for the Father

Why don't you take your reflections home

Ovo nije moje lice
To što curi iz bljutavih teorija odraza
Kada ga sklapate u A je A, A je B, B je C

Znate
C je možda ko od majke roden
Silogizam što upire prstom u cara
Pa ga pita pa ga pita
Care care o gospodare ko'ko ima sati
A car ne cuje jer ima kozje uši

Ovo nije moje lice
To što sklapate poslije peglanja
Medu suknje pantalone i košulje

Znate
Košulja je možda zastava moga doma
Na kolac nabijena da omedi bol
Da ga pitate da ga pitate
'Boli li boli li koliko je sati'
A bol ne cuje jer su mu odsjecene uši

Ovo nije moje lice
To što okrecete da se iz svih uglova vidi
Kadgod ga okrecete od A do B od B do C

Znate C je možda
Samo tacka bez lica
Bacena u svemir
Monada što traži Oca svog

Zašto ne nosite svoje odraze kuci

The Reason Why The Stars Are Too Many

the stars are too many
each of us shall have one
there shall be no regret
the sky is too wide
the stars glitter and each
hand must take the share
i have mine and you shall have
yours too, well, maybe,
not at the same time, but
at the right season for the
right person, soon, soon, soon.
