In the inferno of my love session

In the inferno of my love session
And in the madness of my passion
It was heedless on my part
To empower and to delegate authority to my heart
Once bestowed merely on my reason

Herein my reasons I construe
Because my feelings were so full and overwhelming
I could see you in my soul
So much in my soul whole
That I spoke to you within my soul

To such madness I had come
In the blessing of your love
That even imagined your slightest boon
Could drive me to delirium

This I find in my affection
And even more that I cannot convey
But you, from all I did not say
Will sense the love beyond expression

The Iron Cross

THEY pass, with heavy eyes and hair,
Before the Christ upon the Cross,
The Nations, stricken with their loss,
And lifting faces of despair.
What is the prayer they pray to Him,
Christ Jesus on the Iron Cross?
The Christ, neglected, dark with moss,
Whose hands are pierced, whose face is grim.
Is it forgiveness for great sin
They plead before the Iron Cross?
Or for some gift of gold or dross?
Or battle lost, that they would win?
With eyes where hate and horror meet,
They pass before the Iron Cross,
The Cross, that ancient words emboss,
Where hangs the Christ with nail-pierced feet.
His hair is fallen on his face.
His head hangs sidewise from the Cross —
The Crucified, who knows all loss,
And had on Earth no resting place.
'O world of men,' he seems to say,
'Behold me on your Iron Cross!
To me why kneel and tell your loss?
Why kneel to me and weep and pray?
'Have I not taught you to forgive?
And bade you from my Iron Cross
Believe, and bear your grief and loss,
That after death you too may live?
'You have not followed at my call!
You keep me on this Iron Cross,
And pray me keep you from all loss,
And save and comfort you withal.—
'You ask for love, and hate the more! —
You keep me on this Iron Cross!—
Restore to me my greater loss,
The brotherhood of rich and poor.'
They pass, with weary eyes and hair,
Before the Christ upon the Cross —
The Nations, wailing of their loss,
And lifting faces of despair.

The Universal Daydream Nights

The Moons Rise In Your Eyes
A Dual Moon Reflection As I Look
To You I See Two Of What...
When One With You Is Awe When Us
Could There Ever Be A Love So Natural
As Seen From You... The Stereoscopic
Of A Celestial Body Up Above
But Closer Still As I Look To You
As Heavenly A Body As The Moon
But A Reflection-Hope Closer To Hold
The Heavens In My Arms In Reaching Out
A Haven In My Arms In Touching You
Truth To Heaven In A Broken Heart
When Looking To The Skies Above
You See Afar Away Earth's Only Moon
While I Look Closer In At You
A Starry Eyed Reflection Into Moons
In Your Duo-Pair Of Eyes You See The Moon
But I Can Always See The Two In You
The Only Moon Reflected In Both Eyes
Where Creation Of One Into Two
Can Only Exist As I Look To You
While Our Eyes Can Meet But Not Yet Touch
Long Enough For Me To Hold You In My Heart
A Mutual Transfixation That Can Not Be
For As Long A Duration That There Is A Night
When Afar Away We Are Alone
Not Holding Each Other As Transfixed
Like You With Moon And The Divide Without
As Afar Away We Are Within
Is You To See The Up Above
And I To See You From Afar Away So Near
Enchantment Transfixes You To The Moon
While I As Equally More Enchanted Still
Of You In Person In My Eyes
That All In Eventual Learn The True Celestial Close
Where There Are More Heavens Here Than What's Above
While Here On Level Ground Where Some Can't Feel
The Impossible Truth To Know When Two Can Grow
To Exist As Reflection In Both Our Eyes
As You Look Up... I Look To You
As I Yearn To The Eventual Look To Me
As Heaven Can Only Exist In The Immediacy Of You
Or Up Into Lunar Stardust We Rise
In Hand In Hand, We Exist As One
As We Swim Together In Our Pupil Oceanus Love'
Lunar As They Are At Night
And Eclipsing As They Are To Sun
Like A Sea Of Love Over Years I've Lost
And Found Then Lost And Then Found Again
I See Two Moons Of What Can Always Shine
When The Fantastic Can Come True To Everyone
The Daydream Nights Become Real For You
In Lovelorn Need, Always Love There Be
An Ideal That's Always Been A Dream Of Awe
So Lets Hope It Shines As Eternal Full Moon
And Never As Phase As Dark As New Moon Night.

I Did Not Know

Son I am sorry for all the anguish you went through as a child.
But in my defense I did not know.

I did not know
about all your night that were filled with fear.

I did not know
that your smile was really a mask to hide your tears.

I did not know
that because of my words you were sometimes too afraid to even try.

I did not know
that my laughter made you cry.

I especially did not know
that in the place we called home
is where you felt most alone.

Please forgive me son.
I really and truly
Did Not Know! !

Aging and the run away adolescence

Fading make up and vanishing lipsticks
Brought her face into reality.
Your beauty is enormous and you covered purposely that
Half of your entire journey?
You are a blossom and nobody could steal you from the garden of life.
That corner bench must be reserved for us it seems
And let's have a sit and we could chat leisurely.
Yes, I come here tomorrow again if time permits?
Time is the most precious thing I remember my brother said once.
If you don't see me around not to be frightened Madam?
Just keep in your kind memory that you have met a pilgrim by accident.

I Did Not Lose any Sleep When You Left

Your decision made to follow others,
On a path that seemed safely paved for you...
I respected.
With my regards given,
As my last remarks.

That you appear today to say to me,
There are regrets you wish to express...
Will not recapture,
The many years of suggestions...
I gave to you I believed were best.

What are you expecting,
From me to you for your ears to hear?
An 'okay' with understanding?
As if when you left me you did not make it clear,
To the others you chose to follow...
How crazy you thought me to be!
And my 'know-it-all' personality...
You were glad not to have it near you,
Finally.

Well...
I did not lose any sleep when you left!
And I am sure I will sleep even more peacefully...
When in a few seconds from me you will leave.
I am not here to host another game you wish to play.

I'd Really Love To See You Tonight

Hello, yea it's been awhile
Not much, how 'bout you
I'm not sure why I called
I guess I really just wanted to talk to you
And I was thinking maybe later on
We could get together for awhile
It's been such a long time
And I really do miss your smile
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you tonight
We could go walking through a windy park
Take a drive along the beach
Or stay at home and watch t.v.
You see it really doesn't matter much to me
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you tonight
I won't ask for promise
So don't have to lie
We both play that game before
Say I love you to say goodbye
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you tonight
Babe
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you tonight
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you
I'm not talking 'bout moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out
And I really love to see you
Tonight

Sweet One, Sapphire Lapwing

Sweet one, sapphire lapwing, killdeer, comet;
how haven’t I seen you in everything, casino stars,
the high fires on the mountain that bloom in the snow,
and the tangerine daylilies like the tents of the street lamps
watching the streaming serpents flow over their roots,
even the razorblades, paperclips and bicycle pumps
have signed your guestbook,
and the rose and the rose and the rose
I left for your poetry, on the grave of your soft eclipse.

You were so gentle about it; the way your words
slipped over and off the light, and your anger
that glowed like igneous subdued cherries, always
just a planet away from the darkness,
and the flaring emergency exits
that soaked the air with poppies:
you moved easily through yourself, kelp in a tide,
trailing your soft blue whips behind you
like the little threads of the stream where it meets the sea,
and something in you ends, and something else begins,
and you were grey and sad as an overcast Sunday morning
blue-greens of pagodas and pines,
and the mist that concealed your shrines.
And I realized I had to be water if I wanted to hear your voice,
and a few fireflies more, and I could see you alone in the haze
you wore like an ashen negligee, or a milky window.
Your life was all islands, and tulips clipped to butterflies,
Voices out of the dark, and the white birds that circled
the gaping mouths of your abandoned towers, like words
you’d left behind to remember the place.

And I recall thinking as I read
how much you drifted through your poems like a capsized boat,
and of all the life that goes on underneath the silver leaves,
and the things that take shelter there from the rain,
and who was in the boat when it overturned.
And I wonder who the woman was under the eyelids that felt
like big, heavy drops of rain where the stars
swam away from their pain, not fleeing
but moving off in easy schools of lantern fish.

You were a lens, a dark translucency,
but you washed things deliberately out of focus like fog
that veils everything in its water skin.
You marveled in shadows,
and there was a fire, a smudge of cedar
somewhere on a lonely beach with starfish,
a small bouquet you were trying to uphold in the wind,
and your life depended on that, that was the part
that couldn’t go out, and I think it was your heart.

And I heard the canary in the collapsed mines
trying to warn the miners to get out
but the warning always seemed to come too late;
And I began to wonder whether you
were coal on its way to diamond
or an ore with the moon inside
but it wasn’t until I stumbled across the smile of a knife
with your fingerprints all over the ivory handle
that I finally understood
that there had been a sacrifice, not a murder,
that you bled in the name of a lamb you once cherished,
and you must be young, or it would have been a goat.

Your poems were quick, impressionistic sketches
of a girl jumping from stone to stone across a creek
with an affection for her loneliness as if
all the dandelions had gone into exile.
I wasn’t quite sure what came out of the silk cocoons
you hung everywhere on the wet branches of your poetry,
sometimes I thought it was just you wrapped in blankets
and other times, dragonflies and violet fairies,
and there was hot honey in the sexual hives of your bees.

And I think I fell in love with your ghost before I did you
when I realized that every poem was the next bucket
of a waterclock that was trying to get something off its skin,
each a small pond where you renewed your virginity
by bathing in mirrors, and that was how you knew
what time it was, and where you had been,
by all the swirling faces that floated downstream.

And now, something has changed,
you open the windows wider
and let the world in, your grey blue-green lichens
are no longer the masks of the moon, and your poems don’t end
with the flags of who you are
flying at halfmast as much anymore,
though I can still hear the odd sparrow
brain itself to death with a thud against a glass sky
and I like the new depth in the guest dimensions of your seeing.
And there are stars showing up everywhere like migrant candles
in all the nebular nests of your being.

And I’ve stood here a long time now
and watched you rise shyly out of your poems
like the orange dancers in the forest who leap like flames
or the starmap of a mysterious constellation
I couldn’t identify above the hills of your body
until I saw it was the nightly journal of a blue panther
who had crept up on me in the invigilant silence from behind
as if two shadows had met in the dark like eyes and grapevines
and tangled up in each other like kites,
neither knowing where they began
or how they would end, if ever,
confessed to the webs and the wines
that they were in love with each other,
that there was lightning in the powerlines at last,
and transformers everywhere going off like landmines
and a voice in the shining, that knew, without a word,
that they were the sign of legends who woke without a past.

I love you with all my heart.

One of the hardest things in life is trying to explain how much you love someone.....
When I'm with you the world freezes,
Nothing else matters,
Only you and me,
Being with you is all I want,
You keep my heart beating every second,
I fall in love with you more and more everyday,
Your just so perfect to me,
and that will never change,
as long as I live.
Your my prince charming,
The only one for me,
I love you with all my heart.

Lord tells you on your birthday........

I brought you into this world as a little angel
Your mother feels so happy to see you have born
and your father holds you tide with proud
I bless you my son and now this is your world
You will grow up with your faith on me my son
and your heart and soul will have my love forever
I will take care on you my son
and bring peace in your heart through my bible words
I will make your life sail smoothly in the trouble ocean
and show you the right path to travel like a light house
When you follow my foot steps
then you will not fall into enemies pray
When you being to learn my lesson of truth
then you will build your wisdom that brings you confident
My heaven will give you a shelter to stay with peace
and it will protect you from all the sins that around you
I tell you my son today is your birthday
and you are proud to be born as a human child.

Metastases

sonnet #5
metastasis

i have become a thief of the night, stealing precious hours;
that hated word, metastasis, which makes soon become now,
so easy to hate when i need mostly to love somehow.
do not mourn my passing or miss the friendship that is ours,
grass is still green though we stand in a desert bleak and bare.
around me ghosts listen, my words glint only as fool’s gold;
with the depth of a blind man’s gaze i see i’ll not get old,
we earn what we get and nothing comes for free – wisdom rare!
there’s a great deal i can change, even more that i cannot;
i’ve learned to live with pain, fatigue replacing energy,
i’ve learned to accept if with sorrow, those who have left me;
why count the cost of lost dreams, discarded hopes – i dare not!
the friends who remain teach me to accept my death with grace,
their love and their caring will guide me to a kind safe place: -)

He Did Not Become an Immortal

HE DID NOT BECOME AN IMMORTAL

He did not become great
He did not understand the universe to the end
He did not even make a small work
A few deeply needed
He did not succeed
He lived a life
For a dream he did not realize
And now in his old age
Poor and quiet
He wonders
What his failure will mean
For his own children
And whether he will go to the end
A burden
And nothing else.

He is an old man
Writing another poem
An old man who has written
So many unread poems

What can he do but write another?
How much will he suffer
Before he gets out of it all?

Too Far From Auntie's Gaze

Auntie said
don't go
too far away
with the mutt

I need to know
where you are
and so you
and the mutt

went down
the metal stairway
and off
into the barrack grounds

at Aldershot
keeping close
to the places
that your aunt

could see you from
and you could hear
soldiers marching
on the parade ground

and the sergeants
bellowing their orders
to the marching troops
and you sensed

the cold air
and frost
on the ground
as you walked

and the mutt sniffed
the earth
and you said
come on mutt

let's go for a run
and off you went
and the mutt followed
and overtook you

its tail wagging
its eyes large
and brown
like pools of chocolate

and lucid like mud
and you raced him
as far as you could
then you had to stop

for breath
and the mutt
stopped too
and looked back at you

its tongue hanging
from the corner
of its mouth
and you looked over

to where your aunt lived
and realised
she wouldn't
be able to see you

from where you were
and the dog didn't care
and the air
was chilling

your lungs
and your tongue hung
in the corner
of your little boy mouth

and the soldiers marched
and marched
and you stood watching
bent over

with your hands
on your knees
and big black birds
called out from the trees.

Without You

I fell for a man I only met twice
who do I turn to for some advice maybe she would know
yes she would only if I could ask her
only if I could tell her
only if I could tell anyone
bout that fabulous night
How did this happen, happen to me
when I swore I wouldn't let him
get close to me

Love is mysterious for this is so true
I hoped it could be
but only it’s with you
but I know we can never be an us
we can be an us yes
yes we can
a secret us

I had a dream, a beautiful dream of you
I try so hard not to think of this dream and dread
not being in your arms
for yet another night
For it is too painful and won't escape out of my head
I try to stop this
try to get the powerful feeling out of my head
And now all I ever do is cry when I wake up
as I feel your lips touch mine and reenact that incredible night
in my dream
I can't stop thinking about you because you're always on my mind
You are like a precious gem exquisite and ever hard to find
I call and I call to talk to you which is all great but I want more
I really need to tell you that I am so deep in pain
with out your love
I really don't mean to burden you with my teenage feelings
What I need right now is your understanding and compassion

there’s something I really should be telling you
something I since is so very true
if only I could speak
only if I could say just one line
if only that line could be
I love you
but it seams you’ve taken
you’ve taken the breath out of my chest

It's been a while but I can picture your face
I search and I search to see you from place to place
not ever finding you but still looking everywhere
You are a good person and I sense it
Please help me if you can - I don't know what to do
with out you

I See You in Your Fingers

I see your fingers
I see you in your fingers
I see your history from your fingers
I feel your touch from your fingers
They don't tell a lie to me
They don't give me a fake smile
Or promising kiss
But they give me a warm hold
and tickling touch
I see you from your fingers
I see the truth from your fingers
I see you in your fingers

Good Luck Forever

I wish may God's blessings shade
Extend its branches on you as an aid

And may God protect you from all
Troubles and pains either big or small

And I wish may God shower his bliss
On you more than you can ever wish

And may all happiness that you deserve
Be given to you through God's love

So for that on God put your trust
Because that is really a must

Specially if you want to joyfully survive
In all dull 'n bright phases of life

Because God's love is rare 'n the best
That helps you to pass all life's test.

Psalm 116

Who steps down from the seat of glory?
Who comes down from the heavens above?
It's my Lord and my King who has heard my cry
Who flies to me on the wings of a dove

It's an incredible thing in the darkness
When its shattered by light from above
Just when I thought there was no more hope
You came down on the wings of a dove

I was falling ever deeper into darkness
And I could see no light from above
And I cried out with all that was in me
And you came down on the wings of a dove

You have delivered my soul from death
And you have filled my soul with love
You restored my crushed and broken heart
When you came down on the wings of a dove

Thank You GOD

Unconditional love is so hard…
When you know it's best…
It is a job never the less…
"An all working job"…

No wonder…(GOD is GOD) …
The CREATOR of all that creates…
Unconditional love needs a power…
Powerful enough to cover all the bases…
GOD is that ACE…
Unconditional love…is a PLACE…
As humans we try to be that
Oak tree but the family winds…
Blow much harder then we expect…
So (we ourselves) call upon HIS… unconditional love
As to help us…give unconditional love
Family, friends, and lovers…
Pull at you from all sides…
Until you are about to explode…
But…GOD…yes…GOD…easiest that load…
HIS unconditional love for you or me
Helps ease the confusion…
You then realize the delusion…
Unconditional love is the…solution…
GOD BLESSINGS… keeps one from doing some crazy things…
No matter how hard the fight…
Or color of the plight…
Stay on track….unconditional love is (The) light…

Round Room

My room is round when I lay down, when I wake up it's square
When I go outside it's on a spiral set of stairs
The people that surround me are waiting out there
In a round room they can't find me anywhere
Right angle rooms drive me crazier each day
Put me in a box I know I'm never going to play
Put me in a square room and I won't know what to say
I want a round room at the end of the day
I had an apartment, four corners on the walls
Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep there at all
I want a curve to the place where I stay
I want a round room at the end of the day
If I pass out take me to the round church
Where echoes resound
And my spirit is found
And when I float high
Take my arm and I'll fly you by
The outskirts of town, to a garden that's round
I went to the lighthouse and I liked the view
I looked out the window and I could see you
Put me in a square house and I won't have a clue
I want a round room just to be with you

Silver Heels

Written by bob welch.
She came in like a hurricane
Wearing boots and diamond rings
With a fox fur on her shoulder
She set wondering
And I could tell she was feeling abandoned
Because she flashed a look across my way
She said hop for a ride
Youll never ask me but Ill tell you anyway
She took me out on the blackboard jungle
Put me straight in a hurricane
She hypnotized my eyes with her silver heeled ways
If I could sing like paul mccartney, or get funky like etta james
Id never change, Id never change, Id never change silver heeled ways
She came in and her flags were flying
She was a sailboat of sweet perfume
And I could see that her eyes were smiling
From across the room
Well I couldnt think of conversation
I was busy looking at her furs
She said hey, youll never ask me
So I guess Ill say the word
She took me out on the blackboard jungle
Put me straight in a hurricane
She hypnotized my eyes with her silver heeled ways
If I could sing like paul mccartney, and funky like etta james
Id never change, Id never change, no Id never change silver heeled ways
(silver, silver heels) thats what I mean
(silver) whoo talking bout silver (silver heels)
(silver) alright (silver heels)
Im talkin bout silver (silver) silver heels (silver)
She took me out on the blackboard jungle
Put me straight in a hurricane
She hypnotized my eyes with her silver heeled ways
If I could sing like paul mccartney, and funky like etta james
Id never change, no Id never change her, Id never change silver heeled ways
(silver) oooh silver heels
(silver) talkin bout silver heels
(silver) silver heels
(silver) thats what I mean...
