khushi ek pal ke liye
dukh verson baras ke liye
koi sukh chahta hai is jeevan me

Dekhte hai, nayano me

Bhadta hi ja raha hai Karwan

Instead Of You Today One Black Mouse

Instead of you today
one black mouse.

It arrives the first
day of your departure.
It catches the corner
of my eye, my blood eye,
as you call it, and I
think at first that this
is only sunlight reflecting
from a window being closed
across the street but
my beating heart, faster,
holding my breath, tells
me it is a mouse that
precedes its smell in
the house, that is, if
it takes up residence,
and the curtains remain
permanently closed.

I do nothing but note
all this as briefly as
the flash, then return
to my grieving.

to make this a

Bandh ke rakhe,
Ya phir,
Khoote ke hi supurd
Mann aur baedi kar aaye.
Par…
Kya kare…
Mann hai,
Dhadkan mei basta hai,
Seene me rahta hai
Aur vahi se,
Sara shor karta hai.
Jakhmi hai,
Darun vilap karta hai,
Kabhi beraham,
Aatahas karta hai,
Lakh samjzhaye
Nahi samajhta,
Kabhi bina kahe hi
Maan jata hai.
Kabhi bahti nadiya se bhi
Pyaasa lout aata hai,
To kabhi,
Bul bule par
aapni shristi loota aata hai.
Koi kahe,
Koi toh kahe….
