Satan Absolved

(In the antechamber of Heaven. Satan walks alone. Angels in groups conversing.)
Satan. To--day is the Lord's ``day.'' Once more on His good pleasure
I, the Heresiarch, wait and pace these halls at leisure
Among the Orthodox, the unfallen Sons of God.
How sweet in truth Heaven is, its floors of sandal wood,
Its old--world furniture, its linen long in press,
Its incense, mummeries, flowers, its scent of holiness!
Each house has its own smell. The smell of Heaven to me
Intoxicates and haunts,--and hurts. Who would not be
God's liveried servant here, the slave of His behest,
Rather than reign outside? I like good things the best,
Fair things, things innocent; and gladly, if He willed,
Would enter His Saints' kingdom--even as a little child.

[Laughs. I have come to make my peace, to crave a full amaun,
Peace, pardon, reconcilement, truce to our daggers--drawn,
Which have so long distraught the fair wise Universe,
An end to my rebellion and the mortal curse
Of always evil--doing. He will mayhap agree
I was less wholly wrong about Humanity
The day I dared to warn His wisdom of that flaw.
It was at least the truth, the whole truth, I foresaw
When He must needs create that simian ``in His own
Image and likeness.'' Faugh! the unseemly carrion!
I claim a new revision and with proofs in hand,
No Job now in my path to foil me and withstand.
Oh, I will serve Him well!
[Certain Angels approach. But who are these that come
With their grieved faces pale and eyes of martyrdom?
Not our good Sons of God? They stop, gesticulate,
Argue apart, some weep,--weep, here within Heaven's gate!
Sob almost in God's sight! ay, real salt human tears,
Such as no Spirit wept these thrice three thousand years.
The last shed were my own, that night of reprobation
When I unsheathed my sword and headed the lost nation.
Since then not one of them has spoken above his breath
Or whispered in these courts one word of life or death
Displeasing to the Lord. No Seraph of them all,
Save I this day each year, has dared to cross Heaven's hall
And give voice to ill news, an unwelcome truth to Him.
Not Michael's self hath dared, prince of the Seraphim.
Yet all now wail aloud.--What ails ye, brethren? Speak!
Are ye too in rebellion? Angels. Satan, no. But weak
With our long earthly toil, the unthankful care of Man.

Satan. Ye have in truth good cause.

Angels. And we would know God's plan,
His true thought for the world, the wherefore and the why
Of His long patience mocked, His name in jeopardy.

The Pump

Get ready
Hah!
We got blind compassion
Don't need discussion
Think you know just what I mean
Nowhere's a smokin'
While the rules are broken
Had to be seen to be believed
As a preacher of lust
You gotta do what you must
Practice what you preach
If you got an invitation
We'll change the location
Gotta have room to breathe
I want love, huh!
Whole lotta love, tons!
Give me love
Our love
Well let's pump her, pump her
Strike it rich what you're dreamin' of
(The Pump)
Let's pump her, pump her
(Damn)
We're gonna hunt for gold
Gonna dig for love
The more I get
The more I want
Love mushes out my brain
She's gotta move real slow
High and low
The girl's gonna drive me insane
She's got a real cool cat
That know where it's at
Has to be the ultimate find
Have you heard the score
Ready for more
I knew that the pump was the prize
I want love
Give your love
Wow!
Love
Ooh
Love
Well let's pump her, pump her
Strike it rich what you're dreamin' of
Let's pump her, pump her
(It's the way you find)
We're gonna hunt for gold
Gonna dig for love
Oh get down

Poem: Will You Travel With Me To Heaven?

When you wake up in the morning
From a dream you think is okay
You see your spouse and family
Get ready for another day

The dream you saw, the things you see
The bed on which you soundly sleep
Your kids all grown up, your husband
And old memories that you keep

Who do you think created them?
Were they created from nothing?
If there is no god who made these
All, then what's the point of living?

D'you think we were made from nothing
Then from nothing we live for fun
To eat and drink, to love and hate
Then when we die, what comes is none?

The eyes with which your body sees
Those sockets that keep your eyeballs
The mouth you use for food and speech
The way you answer random calls

The languages you use to speak
And another –your mother tongue-
The way you carry yourself, and
How you breathe through your heart and lungs

The muscles that stretch when you smile
Your friends who often make you laugh
The words you try to understand
And how you sign your name so fast

Your kids who once stayed in your womb
The months you carried them in you
Your feelings when you saw their first
Walk and when they smile back at you

The food you eat and cook each day
The rainfalls that fall from above
The earth you walk on each night and

Pump It

Ooh pump it!!!
One step up
and 2 steps down
I keep on knockin'
but you won't come down
face the fact
we both know
come on honey now I won't let go
Everybody's crazy
all right
Everybody's moving
that's right
wanna be your baby
all night
come on be my baby
Hey pump it
Hey pump it
Hey pump it
ooh pump it !!!
All I need
is 4 you to say
come on baby
won't you come my way
all I want
is to make you see
that baby
you belong to me
Everybody's crazy
all right
Everybody's moving
that's right
wanna be your baby
all night
come on be my baby
Hey pump it
Hey pump it
Hey pump it
ooh pump it
Tell me now
what do you see?
Do you wanna have
a peace of me?
come on
let me hear you scream
na na na yeah
Make a wish
close your eyes
a kiss and fantasise...
Hey pump it

Our God is a God of mercy and of grace. (Gerald Albright's Kicking it up #6)

God, I just do not understand why
You treat me so good everyday.
In spite of all of my sins and all of my mistakes,
You are still good to me.
Yes, you are; my God really is.

My God is so wonderful.
He has provided for all of my needs.
He created the sun to shine brightly everyday.
God has supplied the very air that I breathe.
Yes, He does.

My God is so good to me each day.
He has provided for all of my needs.
God sends out the cooling invisible breeze.
He produced all of the food that I eat.
Yes he does; now help me say it.

Our God is a God of mercy.
He truly deserves all of our praise.
Our God is a God of mercy and of grace.
O’ Yes, I know that our God is.

Our God is a God of mercy.
He wakes us up every single day.
Our God is a God of mercy and of grace.
O’ Yes, I know that our God is.

My God is so wonderful.
He provides me with His grace each day.
All I need to do is confess my sins to Him,
He has promised to forgive every one.
Yes, He does.
All that God has ask me to do
Is give to Him all of my praise every day.
By the life that I have chosen to live
I must show the world that my God is.
Now open your mouth and help me praise Him.

Our God is a God of mercy and of grace.

Glam Slam '91

Glam Slam
Everybody grab a body, pump it like U want somebody {x2}
CHORUS:
Glam Slam
Everybody grab a body, pump it like U wanna party
Glam Slam
Everybody grab a body, pump it like U wanna party
Hey little girly, don't U wait
I can see U had a hard day
Come on baby, let your hair down
Come on, dance 2 the funky sound (Oh)
CHORUS
Hey little girly, what U say?
Swing that big ol' hip this way
I can show U how 2 do it
Grab my body, let's get 2 it (Oh)
CHORUS
Hey little girly, what U drinkin'?
Skip that, I was just thinkin'
U + me, what a ride
If U was thinkin' the same, we could continue outside
Lay your pretty body against the parkin' meter
Flip your dress down like I was strippin' a Peter Paul's Almond Joy
Let me show U, baby, I'm a talented boy
Everybody grab a body, pump it like U want somebody {x3}
(I'm a talented boy) {x2}
Glam slam
Mmm, we could kiss in front of everybody
I don't care, that's right, I pulled your dress up
Shit, U ain't got no underwear on
I should've known, I should've known
Butterscotch curly hair, I wish U had some drawers on now
Stone freak 2 the bone
I can't believe it
Girl, we goin' home
Everybody grab a body, pump it like U want somebody {x2}
Glam Slam
So, here we are, here we are in my Paisley crib
Whatcha want 2 eat?
No toy, I don't serve ribs
U better be happy that dress is still on
I heard the rip when U sat down
Honey, them hips is gone
But that's al... - I clock 'em, clock 'em that way
Remind me of somethin' James used to say:
"I like 'em fat, I like 'em proud"
U gotta have a mother 4 me
Now move your big ass around this way
So I can work on that zipper, baby
2night I'm a star and U're the Big Dipper

VII. Pompilia

I am just seventeen years and five months old,
And, if I lived one day more, three full weeks;
'T is writ so in the church's register,
Lorenzo in Lucina, all my names
At length, so many names for one poor child,
—Francesca Camilla Vittoria Angela
Pompilia Comparini,—laughable!
Also 't is writ that I was married there
Four years ago: and they will add, I hope,
When they insert my death, a word or two,—
Omitting all about the mode of death,—
This, in its place, this which one cares to know,
That I had been a mother of a son
Exactly two weeks. It will be through grace
O' the Curate, not through any claim I have;
Because the boy was born at, so baptized
Close to, the Villa, in the proper church:
A pretty church, I say no word against,
Yet stranger-like,—while this Lorenzo seems
My own particular place, I always say.
I used to wonder, when I stood scarce high
As the bed here, what the marble lion meant,
With half his body rushing from the wall,
Eating the figure of a prostrate man—
(To the right, it is, of entry by the door)
An ominous sign to one baptized like me,
Married, and to be buried there, I hope.
And they should add, to have my life complete,
He is a boy and Gaetan by name—
Gaetano, for a reason,—if the friar
Don Celestine will ask this grace for me
Of Curate Ottoboni: he it was
Baptized me: he remembers my whole life
As I do his grey hair.

All these few things
I know are true,—will you remember them?
Because time flies. The surgeon cared for me,
To count my wounds,—twenty-two dagger-wounds,
Five deadly, but I do not suffer much—
Or too much pain,—and am to die to-night.

Oh how good God is that my babe was born,
—Better than born, baptized and hid away
Before this happened, safe from being hurt!
That had been sin God could not well forgive:
He was too young to smile and save himself.
When they took two days after he was born,
My babe away from me to be baptized
And hidden awhile, for fear his foe should find,—

I Saw It Myself (Short Verse Drama)

Dramatis Personae: Adrian, his wife Ester, his sisters Rebecca and Johanna, his mother Elizabeth, the high priest Chiapas, the disciple Simon Peter, the disciple John, Mary Magdalene, worshipers, priests, two angels and Jesus Christ.

Act I

Scene I.- Adrian’s house in Jerusalem. Adrian has just returned home after a business journey in Galilee, in time to attend the Passover feast. He sits at the table with his wife Ester and his sisters, Rebecca and Johanna. It’s just before sunset on the Friday afternoon.

Adrian. (Somewhat puzzled) Strange things are happening,
some say demons dwell upon the earth,
others angelic beings, miracles take place
and all of this when they had put a man to death,
had crucified a criminal. Everybody knows
the cross is used for degenerates only!

Rebecca. (With a pleasant voice) Such harsh words used,
for a good, a great man brother?
They say that without charge
he healed the sick, brought back sight,
cured leprosy, even made some more food,
from a few fishes and loafs of bread…

Adrian. (Somewhat harsh) They say many things!
That he rode into Jerusalem
to be crowned as the new king,
was a rebel against the state,
even claimed to be
the very Son of God,
now that is blasphemy
if there is no truth to it!

Johanna. I met him once.
He’s not the man
that you make him, brother.
There was a strange tranquilly to Him.
Some would say a divine presence,
while He spoke of love that is selfless,
visited the sick, the poor
and even the destitute, even harlots.

Adrian. (Looks up) There you have it!
Harlots! Tax collecting thieves!
A man is know by his friends,
or so they say and probably
there is some truth to it.

Ester. Husband, do not be so quick to judge.
I have seen Him myself, have seen
Roman soldiers marching Him to the hill
to take His life, with a angry crowd
following and mocking Him.

Lady Gaga

She has 'it'!
But what is 'it'...
That everyone admits,
Is hip?

It's that staccato,
That belongs to Lady Gaga.

The beat is fresh and really rips.
No one who hears it can just sit.

She came upon the scene as Lady Gaga.

'Gimme lights.
I gotta move my hips.
Step left to right.
And shake my rear.
With nuevo class.
And a bass that pumps.
Rock nonstoppin'
Feel that thump
de thump.
Feel that thump
de thump.
Feel that thump
de thump.
Feel that thump! '

'Gimme lights.

Pump It Up

Ive been on tenterhooks
Ending in dirty looks,
Listning to the muzak,
Thinking bout this n that.
She said thats that.
I dont wanna chitter-chat.
Turn it down a little bit
Or turn it down flat.
Pump it up when you dont really need it.
Pump it up until you can feel it.
Down in the pleasure centre,
Hell bent or heaven sent,
Listen to the propaganda,
Listen to the latest slander.
Theres nothing underhand
That she wouldnt understand.
Pump it up until you can feel it.
Pump it up when you dont really need it.
Shes been a bad girl.
Shes like a chemical.
Though you try to stop it,
Shes like a narcotic.
You wanna torture her.
You wanna talk to her.
All the things you bought for her,
Putting up your temprature.
Pump it up until you can feel it.
Pump it up when you dont really need it.
Out in the fashion show,
Down in the bargain bin,
You put your passion out
Under the pressure pin.
Fall into submission,
Hit-and-run transmission.
No use wishing now for any other sin.
Pump it up until you can feel it.
Pump it up when you dont really need it.

Pumpin

Chorus:
You gotta keep it pumpin. (x4)
Verse one (tamika):
I went out looking for a good place,
But everywhere I went was dull.
I went here, and I went there,
But I never found the stuff.
But then I met this boy that said
He had the perfect place,
That I would just love, yeah.
He took me in,
Ooh, let me tell you girlfriend,
The place was jumping,
And it was sho nuff pumpin.
Repeat chorus
Verse two (kandi):
I found my spot,
Nothing about the place seemed dull.
And the stuff I was looking for,
I found the stuff.
The sound was hot, like I never heard before,
The bass was booming,
There were people all over the dance floor.
Then I met another guy,
And he asked me would I like to dance,
He showed me steps I never seen before.
I walked in,
Ooh, let me tell you girlfriend,
The place was jumping,
And it was sho nuff pumpin.
Repeat chorus
Thats the way I like it,
I like it when its pumpin.
(repeat x4)
Outro by jd:
If you got a groove that you like and you like it a lot,
Pump it up, pump it up.
You know the place with the bass,
In the neighbourhood hot spot,
Pump it up, pump it up.
To the girl in the blue,
Tell me what cha gonna do,
Pump it up, pump it up.
And to the negro in red tell me what I said,
Pump it up, pump it up.
Repeat chorus to fade

Chants in a Million

God is the father. God is his son.
God is the victory that all evil shuns.
God of the mighty. God of the weak.
God is the mystery that all searchers seek.

God is the father. God is his son.
God has the power of a million plus suns.
God is the spirit glue in the gum.
God is the single. God is the sum.

God is the father. God is his son.
God is the artist whose tall tale is spun.
God is transcendence, the ghost and the spook.
God is the history that all churches spruik.

God is the father. God is his son.
And daughters are mothers to whores as to nuns.
God makes the judgement to fight the good fight:
the devils and demons that people the night.

God is the father. God is his son.
Above us he towers while we crawl in dung.
And we shall be brothers whose bonds will unite,
on the pathway to heaven, sunlit and bright.

God is the father. God is his son.
Before him we cower. Naked, undone.
The sins we would rather keep from his sight,
condemn us as cowards unworthy in flight.

God is the father. God is his son.
God defies numbers three times in one.
God will empower the pest and the blight,
to flag the dark forces that give no respite.

God is the father. God is his son.
The gifts that he showers on the faithful among
the boon of sweet laughter as his sattelite,
smile down on our errors from high holy height.

God is the question, the quip and the pun.
God is the quotient divided by none.
God is in genius. God is in dumb.
God is the single. God is the sum.

God is the father. God is his son.
God is the author where goodness is sprung.
God shall endower his word and his light,
to relieve the dull burden of man's mortal plight.

Jubilate Agno: Fragment B, Part 3

For a Man is to be looked upon in that which he excells as on a prospect.

For there be twelve cardinal virtues -- three to the East -- Greatness, Valour, Piety.

For there be three to the West -- Goodness, Purity and Sublimity.

For there be three to the North -- Meditation, Happiness, Strength.

For there be three to the South -- Constancy, Pleasantry and Wisdom.

For the Argument A PRIORI is GOD in every man's CONSCIENCE.

For the Argument A POSTERIORI is God before every man's eyes.

For the Four and Twenty Elders of the Revelation are Four and Twenty Eternities.

For their Four and Twenty Crowns are their respective Consummations.

For a CHARACTER is the votes of the Worldlings, but the seal is of Almighty GOD alone.

For there is no musick in flats and sharps which are not in God's natural key.

For where Accusation takes the place of encouragement a man of Genius is driven to act the vices of a fool.

For the Devil can set a house on fire, when the inhabitants find combustibles.

For the old account of time is the true -- Decr 28th 1759-60 -- -- --

For Faith as a grain of mustard seed is to believe, as I do, that an Eternity is such in respect to the power and magnitude of Almighty God.

For a DREAM is a good thing from GOD.

For there is a dream from the adversary which is terror.

For the phenomenon of dreaming is not of one solution, but many.

For Eternity is like a grain of mustard as a growing body and improving spirit.

For the malignancy of fire is oweing to the Devil's hiding of light, till it became visible darkness.

For the Circle may be SQUARED by swelling and flattening.

For the Life of God is in the body of man and his spirit in the Soul.

For there was no rain in Paradise because of the delicate construction of the spiritual herbs and flowers.

For the Planet Mercury is the WORD DISCERNMENT.

For the Scotchman seeks for truth at the bottom of a well, the Englishman in the Heavn of Heavens.

Paradise Lost: Book X

Thus they in lowliest plight repentant stood
Praying, for from the Mercie-seat above
Prevenient Grace descending had remov'd
The stonie from thir hearts, and made new flesh
Regenerat grow instead, that sighs now breath'd
Unutterable, which the Spirit of prayer
Inspir'd, and wing'd for Heav'n with speedier flight
Then loudest Oratorie: yet thir port
Not of mean suiters, nor important less
Seem'd thir Petition, then when th' ancient Pair
In Fables old, less ancient yet then these,
Deucalion and chaste Pyrrha to restore
The Race of Mankind drownd, before the Shrine
Of Themis stood devout. To Heav'n thir prayers
Flew up, nor missed the way, by envious windes
Blow'n vagabond or frustrate: in they passd
Dimentionless through Heav'nly dores; then clad
With incense, where the Golden Altar fum'd,
By thir great Intercessor, came in sight
Before the Fathers Throne: Them the glad Son
Presenting, thus to intercede began.
See Father, what first fruits on Earth are sprung
From thy implanted Grace in Man, these Sighs
And Prayers, which in this Golden Censer, mixt
With Incense, I thy Priest before thee bring,
Fruits of more pleasing savour from thy seed
Sow'n with contrition in his heart, then those
Which his own hand manuring all the Trees
Of Paradise could have produc't, ere fall'n
From innocence. Now therefore bend thine eare
To supplication, heare his sighs though mute;
Unskilful with what words to pray, let mee
Interpret for him, mee his Advocate
And propitiation, all his works on mee
Good or not good ingraft, my Merit those
Shall perfet, and for these my Death shall pay.
Accept me, and in mee from these receave
The smell of peace toward Mankinde, let him live
Before thee reconcil'd, at least his days
Numberd, though sad, till Death, his doom (which I
To mitigate thus plead, not to reverse)
To better life shall yeeld him, where with mee
All my redeemd may dwell in joy and bliss,
Made one with me as I with thee am one.
To whom the Father, without Cloud, serene.
All thy request for Man, accepted Son,
Obtain, all thy request was my Decree:
But longer in that Paradise to dwell,
The Law I gave to Nature him forbids:
Those pure immortal Elements that know
