Through the eyes of a Field Coronet (Epic)

Introduction

In the kaki coloured tent in Umbilo he writes
his life’s story while women, children and babies are dying,
slowly but surely are obliterated, he see how his nation is suffering
while the events are notched into his mind.

Lying even heavier on him is the treason
of some other Afrikaners who for own gain
have delivered him, to imprisonment in this place of hatred
and thoughts go through him to write a book.

Prologue

The Afrikaner nation sprouted
from Dutchmen,
who fought decades without defeat
against the super power Spain

mixed with French Huguenots
who left their homes and belongings,
with the revocation of the Edict of Nantes.
Associate this then with the fact

that these people fought formidable
for seven generations
against every onslaught that they got
from savages en wild animals

becoming marksmen, riding
and taming wild horses
with one bullet per day
to hunt a wild antelope,

who migrated right across the country
over hills in mass protest
and then you have
the most formidable adversary
and then let them fight

in a natural wilderness
where the hunter,
the sniper and horseman excels
and any enemy is at a lost.

A Blood Relation

They argue it as syndrome of blood relation
Is it matter of convenience or though elevation?
It is not difficult to understand in simple context
We let it pass of ignorantly as mere pretext

There is definite push and pull mechanism
It is equally good to have bond in humanism
It least somewhere we show some kind of attachment
There is long list of hierachy and goes on as movement

There is restriction at each and every level
It goes on and to develop and exceedingly marvel
How loosely we remain to be connected in sphere
It is always peaceful, harmonious and I healthy atmosphere

How parents rear their children in responsible manner
They may grow in full adulthood later or sooner
There is complete love in the eyes of every member
Proper care is taken in all the aspects and closely remembered

Time and tide change with the advent or passage
The strong bond or relation remains only message
Everybody loves to remain under one shield
Family as such remains one identity and only field

Children unduly demand and expect something more
They often enter into clash and go for the possibilities to explore
Sometimes it turns into battle field and unruly scene is created
Relation turn sour and all the niceties is cremated

Brother to brother act as sworn enemy
The relation goes on vane simply for money
Parents watch helplessly and condemn the move
They often curse the luck but unable to prove

The entire relation hangs on bare thread
No one bothers to understand or read
Elders try for patch and plead
Elders go in different direction and try to lead

It is happening everywhere and no one is exception
There is different dimension in relation since inception
No one can claim free from any diversion or friction
Still family bond remains as complete addiction

Had there been complete transparency in relation?
It should have excelled in all the direction

I was walking in new york city and i brushed up against the man in front of me. i felt a cardboard placard on his back. and when we passed a streetlight, i could read it, it said "please do

Of the human form; it was a school for handicapped people. and there were cripples, and people in wheelchairs and crutches and it was snowing, and i got this sense that the whole city was singin

I prefer the definition used by Ian Robertson: 'all the shared products of society: material and nonmaterial' (Our text defines it in somewhat more ponderous terms- 'The totality of learned, socially transmitted behavior. It includes ideas, values, and customs (as well as the sailboats, comic books, and birth control devices) of groups of people' (p.32) .

Differemt People

Well things can be broken down
In this world of ours
You dont have to be a famous person
Just to make your mark
A mother can be an inspiration
To her little son
And change his thoughts, his mind, his life,
Just with her gentle hum hum
So different, yet so the same
Two sisters only have their parents to blame
Its rare that two can get along
But when they do, theyre inseparable
Such a blessing comes to few yeah
The sky is full of clouds and
My worlds full of people
You got the different kinds with different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
Not ones the same
He and she, two different people
With two separate lives
Then you put the two together
You get a spectacular surprise
Because one can teach the other one
What she doesnt know
While still the other fills a place inside
He never knew had room to grow
The sky is full of clouds and
My worlds full of people
You got the different kinds with different ways

Oh ueah and once in a while I sit back
And think about the planet
And most of the time I trip on it
To kick back and think about
How massive it all is
And oh how many others are on it yeah
I often think about the world
In which I live today, of animals and plants
And natures gifts set on display
But the most amazing thing
That Ive seen in my time
Are all the different people
And all their different minds minds minds minds
And different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain

So many different people

All Different, But Still The Same

Some people have short hair, some have long.
Some people have thick hair; some people’s hair is all gone.

Some people have black hair, some have gray.
Some people have brown hair, some blonde, some red.
Some people’s hair a color unsaid.

Some people are short, some people are tall.
Some people will love you; some won’t like you at all.

Some people like hot weather, some like cold.
Some people are timid, some people are bold.
Some people have dark skin, some people have light.
Some people have black skin, some people have white.

Some people eat meat; some won’t touch it at all.
Some people have a good memory, some can’t recall.
Some people accept Christ, some never will.
Some people are stingy, some people give.

Some people like school, some people don’t.
Some people will excel, some people won’t.
Some people smoke cigarettes, some never will.
Some people are honest, some people steal.

Some people have book knowledge;
But don’t know the Holy Book.
Some people burn food, some people can cook.

Some people are old, some people are young.
Some people do smart things, some people do dumb.

Some people just have a diploma
Some people have degrees.
Some people do things slow, some with a breeze.
Some people are complainers, some easy to please.

Some people hate shopping, some stay in the mall.
Some people hate God, but God loves us all.

We are all different, but still the same.

When I get cut, I bleed red;
You get cut, red blood you’ll shed.

Some people are plump, some people are thin.
But we are all the same, we’re all human being.
