Pernicious and Effective

Doesn't it seem weak today,
To mention wanting peace?
And through the blackened Universe,
Dazzled by an array of fantastic light.
There is balance.
There is quiet.
There is nourishment and growth.
And here on Earth...
We crush each other,
As if assigned to be...
A pernicious and effective pesticide.

Today My Friend Died

Today my friend died,
I still cant believe my eyes.
It seems like my world has ended.
Today my friend died,
the cute face and sweet smile,
keeps flashing in front of my eyes.
Today my friend died,
my first and last best friend.
She was waiting for this day,
as she had only sorrows and troubles with her.
Today my friend died,
the friend who cared about me,
the friend who solved my problem,
the friend who always fought with life.
Today my friend died,
and I think,
I am filled with problems with no solution,
a human with no confidence,
today I am here with no hope,
I am here today without happiness.
Today my friend died,
she has stepped into my life,
as a spirit of mine.
I cannot express how important she is to me.
Today my friend died,
I recall my memories with her,
and cry....

Much Today Is Not Of The Lord

This world has changed in so many ways in these ever darkening days,
For it used to be The God of Grace, but now its wicked men we praise.

Today many entering God's marriage covenant enter totally deceived,
For those who wish to, have changed Adam to Madam and Eve to Steve.

Pure religion is keeping oneself from the world so not to be polluted,
But we have embraced the world so that our theology is convoluted.

Soldiers serving God have no time to be involved in civilian affairs,
But too often the Gospel is put aside, only to address worldly cares.

God makes it very clear that a rebellious spirit should be corrected,
Today we are told to stay encouraged, as this is only to be expected.

The Lord Himself said that we are not to call anyone on earth Father,
But ordinary men dismiss The Lord simply because they wear a collar.

Church is where you strengthen your Faith by hearing sound theology,
Unfortunately many pulpits today are smothered in worldly psychology.

As you struggle through your week church is a place to be encouraged,
But Satan has planted so many weeds at times you leave discouraged.

John the Baptist's words echoed on, “Repent for The Kingdom is near.”
Today many balk all my sins are forgiven, so what do I have to fear?

Much today is not of The Lord, who will one day very soon condemn it,
And many will be left behind when He raptures His remaining remnant.

These Prices Paid

For centuries...
Haven't we've been tricked into believing,
'Something' of a higher intelligence
Is there to relieve us of our repeated sins...
With compassion?
And observances have agreed!
There is!
It is unanimous.
It is called...
Awareness of Ignorance Displayed.
It 'would' seem
Once that was known and respected,
A prevention of repeated suffering sinks in!

Remember the 'old' days?
When such revered biblical sayings such as...
'Spare the rod and spoil the child' was effective?
My mother seemed to have known that one quite well!
And that message was delivered to my sister and I.
We had no problem understanding my mother's interpretation.

Since then...
We as a society have allowed 'educated' jerks
To become spokesmen for God!
Some will even brag about their PHd's from pulpits!
Creating their own committees of representation,
To indoctrinate congregations.

And people giving birth today,
Are afraid of the monsters they have raised...
By 'quiet' time techniques and forms of punishment used,
To ease tensions!
'Go to your room! '
With computer, DVD's, video games, cellphones with video capabilities.
Wide screen TV's and supplied snacks...
I would have loved to have been 'that' punished!

These 'kids' are groomed to pack a weapon in backpacks,
Before cracking open a book!
To make sure they are prepared to exchange evilness!
And their parents are packing churches...
Praying to becomed freed of their own deeds and actions!

Wouldn't it be easier and quicker,
If they all hired psychiatrists that were magicians?
Why should we all continue to pay
For their blatant stupidity displayed!
At today's escalating prices!
Bob Barker retired from the Price Is Right!
He obviously knew something we didn't!
These prices paid...
Are getting excessively wrong!

I ask again!
Why should we all continue to pay,
For other folks' blatant stupidity displayed?
Now...
That's the question I would like God to answer!

No tithing I have 'ever' done,
Has lowered my taxes!
Nor decreased the abundance of incompetence...
Everyone seems to be gloating they have,
As if it is a fashion statement!
But...
However and furthermore,
I know my participation during the 'money walk' on Sundays...
Has assisted in the purchase of a Mercedes,
Or two!
And a few silk suits!

Beach Volleyball

beach volleyball today.

you wear your cap
to protect you from the sun.

you wear your beach shorts
blue shorts with big white flowers
prints.

you walk barefoot.
and then you decide to walk straight
to the internet cafe.

and you are here now.
you do not like
anybody else.

cruel world. hot sun. your flight
is still tomorrow morning.

another loud night.
an impatient self trying to be
completely silent.

shut.

Trapped Light

A proxy life
I was fighting in the hourglass
to open the pathways of a grain
for a bloody birth of an idea.

Was time faithful to us
when we were drifting apart?
A prowling big cat had again attacked in dark
and broken the necks of lambs.

Now miracles are flying
and you want to get the solid gold
hidden in a borewell, the colour
of a sunset and a yellow wager.

Today I will forget the grief
of generations, dispossessed of death and myths.
You have not lifted the pugmarks
unburdening my truth.

The eyes of Love!

I see you standing there.
My mind goes into autopilot judgement mode.
Unaware of your past. I judge your future.
Forgive me bearded man with the sad, sad eyes.

I am no different from you.
A Life full of hopes and dreams.
Mistakes and falls.
My heart today breaks for you.
the lost dreams and visions that danced in your head when you were a wee child?

They still burn!
Teach me to understand.
I will not hold your hand as you walk this path.
But I will reach down and try to lift you up.
Oh bearded man with the sad, sad eyes. I almost missed you.
For I am looking into the eyes of my father.

final Reckoning

Final Reckoning

Murky day in my valley the mountain which
Is a gigantic, petrified tidal wave of soil and
boulders, is obscured today should it liquefy
the vale will be a plateau with a story to tell
but no one around to tell it too, except for
mustangs that only cares about the quality
of the grass. Perhaps some of us would live
on in air pockets underground turning into
earth worms while looking for a light switch
we knew used to be on a wall while gulping
stale air, not grasping that we are doomed;
as a battery radio plays a dirge because
the king is dead like that should be our chief
concern on the day our valley disappeared.

Yesterday's Smiles

If we could count yesterday's smiles
and double that number today.
We might feel the kind of happiness
that would take our frowns away. A smile can say so many things
and still not speak a word.
So many times a smile has said,
the kindest words I've heard. Your smile can ask, "how are you?"
I hope you're feeling well.
And when a smile is returned to you
You'll know the message it tells. We know a smile says nothing wrong
like the words in our prayers we pray.
Let's try to smile more often
to brighten someone's day. A smile doesn't show any envy
it only shows we care.
To give one never cost a dime,
God gave them to us to share.

Yesterday Is Gone

Yesterday is gone but,
Another day has come for us today;
Like each man and his mule.
Of a Royal line to muse with the muses,
Shall the shadow go ten steps forward of backwards?
Yesterday is gone and today is here with us;
But, what is love going to do on this matter?

From the wadi of Egypt to the Euphates River,
The golden lampstands are there for you;
From the least to the greatest,
By the Habour River i do stand and pray;
Like a pupil's work to the teacher.

Tomorrow is what we look for,
Like each man and his son;
But my mind is on you like,
Each woman and her daughter.
Into the land of Ararat,
Of words written down for us to read;
Like each man and his mule.

On Retirement

Retirement?
Retire man, so what!
’Tis just a natural thing
That many tend to do.

’Tis not the end;
’Tis a beginning, dear friend;
’Tis a Godsend;
And He will fend.

So, keep your calm;
Retirement’s a balm,
For wearied body, mind!
A new happiness, you’ll find.

And God will take you,
In a newer direction;
With Heaven as goal,
Why then worry, pal?

Cheer up man!
And pray as fervently as you can;
Life will be fine,
Once again.

God will provide;
God will decide;
Just rest awhile
And wear a smile.

Today will be gone;
The morrow will be born;
God will your life adorn
When comes a new morn!

A new door opens, right today;
Despair not brother, ne’er, nay!
This is your great DAY!
You’ll soon be in your new way!
God bless you!

The family that used to be

The family the used to be

There was once a happy family
Everything seem to be going right
Everybody was happy
There was no arguments or no fights
My mom and dad loved each other
Well at least I thought so
But after 2 years or so
All the love seemed to go
And disappear into the night
They began to argue
They began to fight
This hurted me inside
At night I cried
I hated for the family to fall apart
This truly broke my heart
When my father left the house
I didn’t care anymore
I wanted the family to be happy and full of love
But like my father that all went out the door
My heart felt so soar
I couldn’t love anymore
So I began to not care
Doing things I wouldn’t dare do
ONLY IF MY FATHER WAS HERE
My mom worries about me and wonder why I act this way
I never told her why
I just simply reply I’ll be ok
No one understands me
No one feels the pain I feel
When I think about how my family used to be
And how it is today
So a family the once used to be a family 3
Is now a family of 2
The house is quiet boring and blue
It’s not the same with out my dad here
But I can’t do nothing but cry (tear)

Signed a hurt child

Workin' For The Man

Workin' For The Man
Roy Orbison
Hey now you better listen to me everyone of you
We got a lotta lotta lotta lotta work to do
Forget about your woman and that water can
Today were working for the man
well pick up your feet
we've got a deadline to meet
I'm gonna see you make it on time
Don't relax
I want elbows and backs
I wanna see everybody from behind
'Cause your working for the man working for the man
you gotta make him a hand when you're working for the man
Oh well I'm pickin' 'em up and I'm laying 'em down
I believe he's gonna work me into the ground
I pull to the left I heave to the right
I wanna kill him but it wouldn't be right
'Cause I,m working for the man working for the man
gotta make him a hand when you're working for the man
Well the boss man's daughter sneaks me water
everytime her daddy's down the line
she says meet me tonight love a me right
and everything is gonna be fine
So I slave all day without much pay
'cause I'm just abiding my time
'cause the company and the daughter you see
Their both gonna be all mine
Yah I'm gonna be the man gonna be the man
Gotta make him a hand if I'm gonna be the man
working for the man working for the man
gonna be the man gonna be the man
Gotta make him a hand working for the man

Strongly built relation

I have put profile picture for identification
Any one can see it as proof or verification
Some image is built in the minds of reader
As you daily you reach to them

It is neatly woven and strongly built relation
You are directly linked and have absolutely no isolation
You get return impetus with useful suggestions
Each idea is subjected to and put to questions

The face reveals the exact personality
It is reflection of strong resolve and ability
The eyes are so forceful in appearance
It has got complete look with lots of balance

Some of the faces look very hard
As if they have urgent need to look forward
Yes, we are left with pure imagination
It may puzzle us more if find no clue or indication

Some of the short versions are now on display
It may b nice and effective means to convey
Yet some of the contents need light explanation
As human psychology needs some loose relation?

Some of faces come straight away in our memory
We may be sure of its contents with no such worry
The effect mode of conveyance may be effectively used
The reader may have clear ideas and not remain confused

Many faces are not forgotten even after decades
Their contribution has remained in achieve and did not fade
We remember their face as and when names are spoken
We pay tribute tot heir contribution and pay the gesture as token

Many people have found me as handsome figure
Some have put it to me as an appeal for shot sure
I take solace in their different interpretation
As it has strengthened and the close relation

Strong On Hype

Having a conversation,
With someone not listening.
Isn't a conversation.
It is work.
And not 'of' art!

Tedious it is to keep repeating,
Something said to someone...
With a selective process going on,
In their head.
And quick to change direction of conversation.

And...
Don't say 'anything',
That can be interpreted as intelligent.
Someone will perceive...
The simpliest of word usage for them,
Is other than what anyone perceives to be basic.

Keep it simple,
Stupid!
Keep it simple,
Stupid.

To dumbdown these days,
In the getting of anything across...
AND comprehended,
Is no longer a matter of choice.
To get others to effectively listen,
One is practically enforced...
To use techniques at a preschool level.

Think this to be a joke?
An assumption done by one sarcastic?
Or a cynic being overly dramatic?
Well...
Unfortunately,
It isn't.

Many college professors,
Are 'literally' face to teach those...
Who can neither read at levels of high school.
Nor can write sentences without words spelled,
Incorrectly.

And yet,
There are those defending the right to fight in conflicts...
To protect an 'interest'.
And that interest is not invested in the minds of the young.

'Keep it simple,
Stupid!
Keep it simple,
Stupid.'

And those comments made today,
Are not by the intructors heard...
Conducting their lessons.
Those comments are made by the students,
To those who intruct in classrooms...
By those who can not follow direction.
Nor can they keep,
On any grade level with others waiting impatiently...
Watching other stundents,
Making 'some' attempt with a trying to keep up!

To say an entire system is in dire need,
Of an innovative revamping...
Is an understatement that has offended,
Much too long in the protecting of a pretentiousness...
Stong on hype.
But not in an insight invited,
That has been in need of thorough self examination.

Melancholy Of Profoundness

A melancholy of profoundness
A mystical sensation of innovation has come over me
It’s the Gaia tree
It gives life to that was once dead
And it’s bringing out the best
All I want is replace the distain, the hate in my heart
With compassion
Help mankind in such a way that’s everlasting
Fearing the repercussions of past actions lies in my way
Waiting anticipating my every movement
So I finally found the courage to repent
Forgiveness is but on the rise
The grey skies are just another disguise
Trust no one
Being constantly numb is done
Over under any way to get through to the other side
Where the sun shines a little brighter
The burdens are getting lighter
Shedding off the layers of what has become my skin
But in truth it’s my demons
For every time I screw up I just walked away
Pretend like everything is okay
Hoping the memories will fade
But instead they turn into jade
A solid stone
Melt my soul
Cause I'm tired venturing this life alone
Help is for the asking to most
But I've been ostrich sized like a ghost
Forever haunting those who disgraced me
Another euphony has come and gone
I have a feeling it won’t be long
Till my sacrifice pays off
It’s a cost I had to pay to keep my head above water
So deep
It’s constantly sucking me in
I 'm drowning in my own self righteous bullshit
Perfect is but a mistake that has yet to be made
So why wait why contemplate or debate
Chances or what it is that makes us
Who we are today will not be the same tomorrow
Welcome to my horror
Welcome to my lack of honor
So cold that I wonder why I'm not already dead
Cause all serenity has driven me to search out an ends to a means
Wash my hands and come clean
I won’t make a plea or disagree
This is an absolute surrender
Of a defender for what was thought right or wrong
Never questioned where my emotions belonged
Constantly detached from my body
So this is definitely my melancholy of profoundness

Beddgelert - (pron. Beth-gelert)

‘There once was a Prince called Llywelyn, Dai bach,
The Lord of this Snowdon Wales,
Back in the mists of the mountain, when times
Saw wolves leave their blood-stained trails.'

(I sat by the Church of St. Mary out there,
The vicar stared out on his fold,
His rheumy old eyes held the myth and the lies
That the Welsh told the people of old!)

I listened, he spoke, and I doubted him then,
The story he told so bizarre,
But when he had finished, I baited my breath,
Walked musingly back to my car.

Llywelyn, the hunter, was given a hound,
A present from England's King John,
A mighty wolf hound that he treasured and took
On his hunting trips, loping along.

The Prince had an heir that was merely a babe,
Still swaddled in linens and veils,
The child was his joy, he'd been blessed with a boy,
He was one of the Princes of Wales.

Llywelyn went hunting abroad with his pack,
The hounds were all baying the way,
The buglers followed, their blasts on the horn
Drove the hogs that were leading the fray!

The hunt brought them venison, gammon and fowl,
The hunt brought them mutton and game,
But Gelert, the hound, was nowhere to be found
Though the Prince called, and bellowed his name.

Llywelyn rode back to the palace at dusk,
Dismounted and looked for his son,
The cot was all bloodstained, the covers were torn
And a sign of the child, there was none!

Then Gelert leapt up, and he greeted the Prince
With a loud joyous cry in the dark,
His fur was all bloodied, his teeth dripped with gore,
And Llywelyn shrank back at his bark.

In thinking his son had been slaughtered, the Prince
Cried out as he lifted his sword,
And ran through the hound as he fell to the ground
And he cursed and he cried, the good lord!

But then came an answering, pitiful cry
From the child that lay under a bed,
The boy was uncut, but was smeared with the blood
Of the wolf that lay next to him, dead!

The throat had been torn from the wolf by the hound,
Brave Gelert defended the son,
And now that the Prince held the child in his arms
He reflected on what he had done!

He cradled the body of Gelert and wept,
And buried in honour his hound,
He set up a stone with the tale that it told
And it stands there today, on its ground.

The place is Beddgelert, in Gwynedd, look you,
And hundreds of years have gone by,
But history tells us, Llewelyn the Great,
Was never again seen to smile!
