Those animals who are so badly abused,
Please everyone, let's protect them;
For those scared puppies and kittens confused,
Let's all agree, and really protect them.

For those poor whales swimming and are caught,
Let's please, stick with me to protect them;
To stop the cruelty to them, for their bodies are they bought,

Protection

We don't need protection from terrorists anymore.
What we protection from is never-ending war.
Protect us from the propaganda.
Proect us from the lies.
Protect us from the legislation
set up to tyrannize.
Protect us from the vaccines
that cause more harm than good.
Protect us from the violence
that comes from Hollywood.
Protect us from injustice
emanating from the courts.
Protect our kids from drug enhancements
while they're playing sports.

A Cry For My Mama Land

It is 1.50 a.m.
And sleep evades me….because I weep for my motherland!

Sons of Africa,
Daughters of Africa,
Awaken: you have slumbered so long.

Look at the cloudless skies that cover your motherland,
Look at the leafless trees….the barrenness that fills the atmosphere
Look at the evolving deserts, that swallow up your birthright
Listen to the cry of your sons and daughters,
Empty stomachs, jiggered feet, tatters for clothes…..barely enough education if any

Feel the desperation of this land,
Feel the emptiness that engulfs our cradle
See the vanishing green,
See the greed that exists,
oh daughters and sons of Africa!

For how long shall we sit and watch?
While Africa destroys herself?
For how long shall we be divided on the basis of our ethnicity?
Instead of using out diversity as our strength?
For how long shall we be misguided: by our very own kinsmen?
Instead of standing for our own convictions?
For how long shall micro-nationalism take the place of nationhood?
For how long shall we be brainwashed? manipulated? Brainwashed?
For how long will our collective hard-worn freedom and independence be a luxury of only few?
Tell me daughters and sons of Africa, for how long, shall we wallow in the miasma of poverty?

Not anymore, sons and daughters of Africa, nay not anymore!
Because all I need is several more hearts sold to the cause of this continent.
A few souls who will dare dream, of a land that mama Africa could be!
A few who will raise their voices in the streets and condemn: evil, greed, selfishness,
At the expense of their comfort, and even their lives!

Just dream with me,
Mmmh…aaaah….Economic stability, oneness, food security,
Sound leadership, quality and affordable education, employment opportunities,
Good affordable healthcare, good governance policies, …….clean air!

It is more than a cliché to say
That our children are our future
They are in reality our future
Not our past or passé
We must protect our babies at any cost
From the West Coast to the East Coast
Day and night
They are our rainbow, our night light
Our angels, our bright light
We must protect our kids against all sorts of abuses
From Penn State to Rahway State
From New York State to Washington State
We must not tolerate stupid or noxious excuses
We must protect all of our children
Against all types of abuses
All the time, all the time
Dial 911, inform the authorities, so the scum can be booked
Or canned; so the Judge can throw
The books at the perpetrators of all despicable crimes
We must shield our infants with our rainbow
Against all sex maniacs who are sick in their mind

You love your motherland –
One, where you were born and nurtured in
Unknown ways, most miraculously.

Love your Motherland with heart and soul;
Only your own country is the safest for you;
View its landscape, gorgeous and beautiful;
Every fellowman is your brethren.

You must be proud of its rich heritage;
One shouldn’t forget how freedom was got;

Sixtieth Independence Day Celebrations of India (a)

We plan to put a man on moon!
And this could happen pretty soon:
If Indians will stay united,
Our dreams can lift off, ignited!

We have the skills and brains as well;
Let’s persevere always like hell;
Our country vast has problems much;
Our leaders can give ‘magic-touch’!

More Indian brains are being drained;
Our ties with neighbors are quite strained;
Let’s weed the terror-menace out;
Our motherland is great, sans doubt!

With more women at India’s helm,
So nigh is economic boom;
Let’s hit accord in nuclear club,
Avoiding global friction, rub.

If selection is through merit,
The nation will sure, benefit;
Let Indians work with diligence,
From Sixtieth Independence.

Let’s build more shelters for homeless;
Let’s treat the sick with love, kindness;
Let’s guard our children and women;
Let’s turn our motherland, Heaven!

Let’s wipe out poverty ’mongst us;
Let’s clothe our people with good dress;
Let’s feed the hungry millions well,

Guilty and Sad

It makes me feel guilty and sad
When some one calls me bad
It is so particularly in the case of spy
Valiant attempt for motherland but suicidal try

“Don’t do the work that may send you in jail”
“Attempt at nothing that may curtail your freedom and fail”
Sir, I cry today as my years have been spent in dungeon
Living hell for a person to undergo strict terms of prison

What you can term as living hell on earth?
He posed a question virtually fearful of death
They tried virtually to kill me by breaking feet and hands
As my mind was so much infused with love for motherland

Can you believe almost 30 years with prison sentence?
How much agony and pain to be spent with mind so much tense?
No one was there to talk with and see the light of the day
Food to be served with insult and sometimes thrown away

I was handcuffed and tied with locks on feet
To be kicked with filthy language as if to greet
“Traitors are to be treated with same treatment”
Such words used to be hurled as comments

Today I am out from prison and back to country
I thank everybody for efforts made and particularly the almighty
Without his blessings I couldn’t have seen light of the day
Such is the experience and mission to be undertaken in hazardous way

I have no regrets for services rendered to the cause of motherland
Yet I may advice people to remain away and act as friends
I have lost everybody and put to shame by label of prisoner
I pray almighty to free me from that label sooner

It will be considered as no sacrifice if done for noble cause
The countries at war sometimes resort to such practice
Yet nothing should be done to create bad blood and hatred
It is their affair and must be allowed freely to be led

I cry not for the mistreatment caused in enemy territory
But maltreatment meted out at home as an adversary
Not sympathy or words of praise for undergoing torture
What could have I expected from enemy as nice treatment for sure?
