Scrutinized For Their Blemishes

It is easy for many to sit back and critique,
With a judging done of those tasks...
Others produce with a doing to complete.

And if some people are prolific,
From experiences live that dictate this...
The critics are quick,
To stampede out from nowhere it seems...
With criticsms prepared,
Not to uplift or encourage...
But instead,
Demean.

But when given the opportunity to highlight their gifts,
Critics often spew excuses...
As those under microscope,
Are scrutinized for their blemishes.

Although,
Even those who enjoy themselves as critics...
Have moments they don't admit but wish,
An attention given to be critiqued...
Would validate a reason to rid their insecurities,
With a purpose in their minds that solidified their existence.

Believed

frankly modest speech dishonest eyes uponus like a vulture in the sky
hovering carcass moulding earth filthy birth afterlife friction
based upon fiction replacing friendship untrueness speculation concentration heresy
is controlling us all this flagrant foul stench upon us
overwhelming everybody like an imaginary forklife brother
you point you finger as a scolding motherf*cker sucker blaming evil
upon another under that pedestal you hold yourself
so high above us i can't imagine what it's like to not a give a sh*t about nothin live
the whole damn story led in motion peers are punished
for their individuality separating us all
i can't believe my friends would make such a lie even though it was
i that dishonored your trust but it's done
i can't change the past i am gonna make us last just believe in me
and i'll show you that they're nothing true

Curfew an epic tale

A deep toned bell heard loud and clear.
which resonates between the walls.
Awakens echoes far and near
they disappear and silence falls.

This was a great metropolis.
The pace of life was furious
and now it is reduced to this.
A warning for the rest of us.

When men grow too ambitious
and fail to heed the warning signs
Nature deems them iniquitous
and undermines their grand designs.

Men now live nearer to the soil
in small compact communities
and earn their bread by honest toil.
But still find opportunities

To gaze in wonder as they sigh
and listen to the tales the sages tell.
Of when tall towers reached the sky
and how and why the cities fell.

Too many mouths too little food
Their needs could not be satisfied
and by the time they understood.
Most of the population died.

of malnutrition and disease.
Only the young and strong survived
and they sought refuge in the trees
A simpler way of life revived.

Self supporting villages
became the order of the day.
Which brought renewed advantages
Mankind had found a better way.

After the first great city fell
the rest followed like dominoes.
In less time than it takes to tell.
To be expected I suppose.

Men were not meant to live in hives
like colonies of honey bees.
But follow individual lives
not as they had done previously.

Each living in their little cell
and knowing only one or two.
Venturing out to buy or sell
but only when they were forced to.

They were afraid of other men
and with good reason we are told..
Those times will never come again
when criminals were over bold.

Protected by anonymity
the stronger ones preyed on the weak.
The dark side of humanity
You need not go too far to seek.

Now we can live more peacefully
and fear our neighbours not at all,
We intermingle socially
and trust each other one and all.

We still have petty criminals
but they are punished for their crimes
According to clear principles
not as they were in olden times.

Cause and effect are seen to be
as sure as night must follow day.
Which seems to work effectively
Crime has a price which they will pay.

Now most of us know everyone
who lives in our community.
The faceless hordes completely gone
We share common humanity.

The ruined cities will decay.
Nature will reclaim her own.
In her own time in her own way.
Eventually be overgrown.

History is repetitive.
Though mankind’s very slow to learn.
A little too competitive
as empires rise and fall in turn.

Perhaps this time we’ve learned at last
A simple life is far the best.
No empires now to overcast.
Each man is equal with the rest.

Tyler Clemente

At the railing of the bridge,
the water far below.
One step and there is no return-
I fall if I let go.

Standing at the railing now
The cold rain drenches me
And hides these tears upon my face
The world will never see.

One step into eternity-
What stops me letting go?
Such an easy thing to die-
until it's time to go.

Yet why remain to face the shame?
My tormentors are free.
They used a web cam to record
my lover kissing me.

They outed me to all the world
My friends and family know.
How then could I remain at school?
I'm left no place to go.

My phone and wallet on the grate
for the officers to find..
I hope the two who did this thing
are punished for their crime.

Tyler Clemente, a closeted gay man and student at Rutgers University, committed suicide on 09/29/2010 by leaping to his death from the George Washington Bridge. Two fellow students are charged with crimes related to invasion of privacy

You Are In For Quite a Surprise

You have only been solicited,
To assist in their progess...
And for their benefit.
When that is done,
You are kicked to the curb...
Like everyone who has come.
To discover they are not the only ones.

Don't think to them you are special!
You should have known that,
As a fact before you arrived.
Don't look to them to keep that vision rising.
If you do...
You are in for quite a surprise.
This is about 'them'!
Not about you in their eyes!

Woes Like This Are Difficult to Replace

Fresh awakening from a deepened sleep,
Many are heard exclaming...
How quickly things have changed overnight.
And who they believe is responsible...
For the letting of their standards they valued go.
With the blaming of the tooth fairy for not leaving a dime,
To undo the bittersweet taste of decay left...
Under a goose feathered plucked and comforting pillow.

Woes like this,
Are difficult to replace...
With candied kisses and promises,
To fleece the next herd of sheep counted while sleeping...
Of their wool, teeth and affordable lambchops,
To leave pre-seasoned as a gift!
With coupons as a bonus...
That might satisfy the craving for vegetables and a baked potato.

As Sad As Actions Like These Are

When misleading intentions have a purpose,
To perpetuate a deception of those beliefs...
Others may have of their family members,
Business associates or even their close friends...
To turn most of them into enemies,
By just a few envious with their own jealousies...
Wishing to smear with lies an increasing hatred they keep.
It is a sad discovery of commentary too true to disbelieve.

And as sad as actions like these are...
They are a direct result,
Why people choose to keep their distance and far...
From those deceivers and those easily deceived.
To leave behind them and time wasted,
For all to find a way to eliminate from their minds...
Who victimized their activities,
With the planting of those seeds that fed their miseries.

Fighting For Their Rights To Be Fools

There is nothing like conditional repetition.
In the doing of something that will never work.
And defying the advice given,
By those who are professional and certified as experts.

A conspiracy is generated to consciously impede.
To ensure something effective does not succeed.
But an intentional application of implemented ignorance...
Says much about a mindset,
Wishing to influence by the lack of experience.
Or pretense of common sense.

There is nothing like conditional repetition.
In the doing of something that will never work.
And defying the advice given,
By those who are professional and certified as experts.

And those who suffer aren't the ones chosen to do so!
They've already identified and decided those who are the jerks.
When it becomes obvious lives are threatened,
By those incompetent and rise in position to rule.

The evidence of this speaks for itself.
The ones protesting with the loudest of voices...
Prove themselves on a daily basis,
Who are the ones truly victimized.
And who are those fighting for their rights to be fools.

Men Are Made For Women

The life runs on two tracks
both needs to be parallel
the difference of a thread
makes the life to be out track
and leaves a ruin behind.

But believe in me
men are made for women
men are made for safety and security
for women, to fulfill their all needs
the existence of this world is
only with the love of women

Men betray at every stage
but women betray very often
that so they maintain to run the life
on the parallel track of life.

If my years are drawing to their end (in answer to William Shakespeare)

If you in me behold, the time of year
when things are withering
when winter draws near
and winds are getting icy cold,
in me the years are drawing to their end,
as summer is spend, I am getting old
and the endless night, is fading my last light
and every breath is drawing me closer,
closer to death and still my eyes are burning,
with a yearning, a need for your love
then as always you are true
with love springing from you:
something that may last,
be passed to the world beyond.

Poems Are Made For Beautiful Things

POEMS ARE MADE FOR BEAUTIFUL THINGS

(Written for the Ilui Neshamah of Rabbi Gabriel and Rivka Holtzberg who were murdered in the Chabad House in Mumbai November 2008)

Poems are made for beautiful things-
Not for murder and for terror -
Not for cruel sudden deaths-
Not for hatred which kills without question-
And justifies itself,
By some absolute inhumane ideal.

Poems are made for life
Not Death-
We Jews want to live,
And they the Suicide- bomber- people,
to Murder their way to Eternity.

A Reception For Their Exceptions

Attempting to uncover a meaning,
From that which has yet to be expressed...
Can be labelled stressful.
Or pitiful at best.

Some folks can not accept directness.
And for them,
The lights of awareness are dimmmed.
If to flicker at all.

Delusions become fantasized.
And a basis of a rationale...
Has no chance for them to begin.
It is criticized and does not survive.

This mindset has been stalled.
No matter what has been deemed real...
A reception for their exceptions is prioritized.
And that is the life protected and for them is lived.

They are starving for happiness

They are starving for happiness
Their belly is full of mess
Joy is their food
Without it their dead

Starving all way of hunger
Cry in every saw they looked
Fingers are in cold, shivering
They are starving for happiness

Mind looked in every crying eye
Drops let fall. As they saw
No mistakes done, no wonder
They are starving for happiness

Open hair, all scenes amazing
No soft blow of air, nothing
They can’t survive more
They are starving for happiness

Heart full of sorrows, no glow
Hands red, can’t move long
Lot of hunger, full of blood
They are starving for happiness

When Crystal Hearts Are Broken

When crystal hearts are broken
You cannot make repair.
The warmth and love you cherished
Turns then, to cold despair.

Its pieces of love shattered;
Though small, shall sparkle still.
So gather them as treasures
And keep them, if you will.

For crystal hearts when broken;
Though shattered and no more,
Are treasured for their beauty
Displayed to you before.

The pieces, just remember,
Though sometimes hid away;
Still sparkle like a treasure
When they're put on display.

The world should see such treasures
Because they're oh so rare.
Crystal hearts add value
To lives of cold despair.

And crystal, when it sparkles
In whole, or just in part;
Still is, of all its vessels,
True love's most favored heart.

The Reason And Cause For Their Pain

Everyday!
Everyday as if a ritual,
Someone is complaining...
About being misunderstood.

Everyday as if a ritual,
Fault is being made...
About someone else.

Everyday as if a ritual,
People are accused...
For something they didn't do.

Everyday!
Everyday as if a ritual,
Some believes they have the right...
To excuse themselves of responsibility.

And everyday,
Someone is left to feel alone...
Still not getting the connection,
Between their misdeeds...
Aches and pains.
And those heartbreaks they receive,
They have come to perceive...
No one else has known!

And everyday without fail,
As sure as the ticking of a clock is heard...
These people will not see themselves,
The reason and cause for their pain.

The knives are out for me

I hauled you out
Of the poverty of
The gutter
I took you away
From the bullet riddled
Neighborhoods of the ghetto
I clothed you and made you
Smart and look at you now
You're beautiful you look
Like the model from the cover
Of the magazine and you haven't
Disappointed me and you go on
And you amaze me and pound for
Pound you match the love between us
But now the knives are out for me
And those who looked down at you
From the lofty armchairs are
The first to say how
Ill matched we are
And out of the frustration of
Where you come from from a no hoper
I became responsible for your education
And you're the best my baby you can
Intellectualize with the greatest I'm
So proud of you
But the knives are out for me
And I who is not after your money am now
Accused of exploiting you and I can only
Depend on your love and your loyalty
To defend my dignity and my honor

These People Are Never the First

Too often...
Those who use common sense,
Are punished for being correct.
In fact,
Some sarcastically call them smart.
As if they are using some exclusive part of the brain...
Others do not have membership to address or obtain.

It's just another excuse to sound off their laziness,
With a customary abuse of their existence.

You need not ask for them to give an opinion.
It will be there in the atmosphere!
Along with a judgement passed...
As to who made the wrong or right decision.
And why...
If it was up to them,
They would have made another choice.
And these people are never the first,
To make their voices heard!

It's just another excuse to sound off their laziness,
With a customary abuse of their existence.

And it makes one wonder why...
God has blessed certain creatures with wings to fly.
And some creatures with brains...
Never to be used for long periods of time.
Or,
Very little.
If at all.

When Feelings Like These Are Felt

To be in the presence of adults,
Still in full possession of child like mentalities...
Gives me a chill.
The kind I know is noticed.

Listening to their depth or lack thereof,
Can be likened to a teacher taking a piece of chalk...
And scraping it across a blank blackboard.
Achieving a desired effect.
To gain attention...
From those prepared to be taught lessons.

Some who become 'startled' will awaken!
However...
Many who have skipped those classes,
To learn absolutely nothing...
Seem to be the ones seeking now to be heard.
With a comprehension that skims on the rim of shallowness.
And irritating anyone who has developed a patience.

A patience one can admit at times like this...
Seeks quietly to find an exit.
Before offensive comments begin to slip accidently,
Out from the mouth of one who is not seeking to be polite!
Or feels a need to accomodate others,
With a show of good social skills.

When feelings like these are felt,
It is time to cordially leave!

Are You For Real?

Are you for real?
hey you...
are you feelin like me too?
i need to get an answer out of you
well all the days
all the time
all the lies lie on the line
did you just try to set me off?
well yeah you know i'm easy
and i know its true
that this situation
isn't so easy on you
cause i
i need to know what you want i
i wonder how you feel and i
i need to know what you want
i cannot guess anymore
are you for real?
hey you...
is there truth behind your lies?
is all this love
or is it compromise?
well all the days
all the time
no regrets you're on my mind
did you just try to set me off?
well yeah this awkward silence
feels so cold and used
is this infatuation
or am i addicted to you?
chorus
reverse the beat back up direction
lies in trust and planned out deceptions
the look in your eyes and verbal dissections
lose myself in you and sex then rejection
self destruct in your arms and your words stack to kill
are you for real?
hey you...
are you feeling lonely too?
well i need to get some answers..
some answers
chorus
