Percieving magic

Magic, Is it real? what is it? Can you trust it? Can you see it?
Is magic a bunny being pulled from a hat?
Is magic a card trick, or is it a cion being pulled from behind a child's ear?
Can magic occur in a puff of smoke, or from a flick of a wand and a bibbity-bobbity-boo?
Is there such a thing as magic, or is it just all smoke and mirrors?

People say Love is magiacal, so does that mean love is magic, or magic is love?

If magic is all tricks and illusion of the mind, then is love real or is it our minds decieving us?
If love is magic, can you trust it, if you can't trust magicians?

Love may not be magic, but true love is the closest thing we can experience to real magic.
Love can be decieving, but where there is true love, there are no smoke, mirrors, or illusions.

If magic makes people happy, and if love is the closest thing we hav to magic, then why dosen't all the world love each other?
If we all spread a little bit of magic, wouldn't the world be a better, happier place to live?
There would be no more wars,
no more need people, and no more need for prisons.
We would all live in peace and harmony.

But this...this will never happen.
There will always be a war or a fight.
There will always be children crying.
There will always be pain and hatred.
We can't escape te ways of man, wether we cause these things or others cause them.
Our world will never be the great Utopia philosophers once imagined.

We must accept that these things will not happen,
But can't we at least try to make them better?
Isn't it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
Wouldn't it be a far, far better thing we would do than we ever have done?

If these things are true, then why don't we act upon them?
Is it because we are selfish,
because we don't see anyone else trying,
or because it would just be too much trouble to add into our busy schedules?

No matter the reason, no matter the cause,
we need to start, we need to start now.
The more magic you spread, the more love will be spread around the world.

Love is a force of nature, it's unstoppable once in effect.
So is magic unstoppable to?
Is it real or is magic like that Utopia that was only a dream?
Science can't prove it, medicine can't prove it.
Love exists.
It's in our hearts, and it apreads and growns.
So if love is magic, then magic must exist.
Without it love would not exist.

All this is Magic, moments that rekindle eternal flame..
Gives us the courage, to win life's every game..

God gave us some Magic in our glowing eye..
His arms that hold us and tell us not to cry..
There is Magic in our voice, when we talk each day..
This Magic is our smile, adds so much to what we say..

Magic in our heart, makes us bold, brave and true..
This is magic of feelings, shared between me and you..
Magic in our heart, is why we care so much..
magic in our hands, gives us that magical touch..

Magic is the rainbow throwing color's in the dark..
Shiny stars twinkling Magic, gives each night it's spark..
Magic are the waves, that try reaching the shore..
Magic is the sweetest fruit, we strive for more and more..

Added Magic to our emotions, is the reason we fall in love..
This world is the stage, the show is presented from up above..
God does his own tricks, pulls a bunny from his hat..
The Biggest Magic of my life, was the one moment we met..

Life teaches Magic, this is here that we learn..
The tricks to find peace, the tricks to have fun..
Float in the river of Magic, keep all sorrows at the bay..

The Cenci : A Tragedy In Five Acts

DRAMATIS PERSONÆ

Count Francesco Cenci.
Giacomo, his Son.
Bernardo, his Son.
Cardinal Camillo.
Orsino, a Prelate.
Savella, the Pope's Legate.
Olimpio, Assassin.
Marzio, Assassin.
Andrea, Servant to Cenci.
Nobles, Judges, Guards, Servants.
Lucretia, Wife of Cenci, and Step-mother of his children.
Beatrice, his Daughter.

The Scene lies principally in Rome, but changes during the Fourth Act to Petrella, a castle among the Apulian Apennines.
Time. During the Pontificate of Clement VIII.

ACT I

Scene I.
-An Apartment in the Cenci Palace.
Enter Count Cenci, and Cardinal Camillo.

Camillo.
That matter of the murder is hushed up
If you consent to yield his Holiness
Your fief that lies beyond the Pincian gate.-
It needed all my interest in the conclave
To bend him to this point: he said that you
Bought perilous impunity with your gold;
That crimes like yours if once or twice compounded
Enriched the Church, and respited from hell
An erring soul which might repent and live:-
But that the glory and the interest
Of the high throne he fills, little consist
With making it a daily mart of guilt
As manifold and hideous as the deeds
Which you scarce hide from men's revolted eyes.

Cenci.
The third of my possessions-let it go!
Ay, I once heard the nephew of the Pope
Had sent his architect to view the ground,
Meaning to build a villa on my vines
The next time I compounded with his uncle:
I little thought he should outwit me so!
