Medium

Medium, medium.
Waking up I smell the scent of coffee on the brew,
And I think about the amount of the sweet,
Id like to have in my cup today.
One for the two lump, three lump, four.
No half of one, no less no more.
Just give me a chance, let me make it mine.
Id like a medium blend of that piece of pie.
Not too bitter, not too sweet... medium.
Just enough to ? ? ? ... medium.
Not too bitter, not too sweet... medium.
Just enough to ? ? ? ... medium.
Dinner time just rolls around,
And I think I crave a steak but,
Im not too partial to the meat,
When its cooked too long and Im made to wait.
Not too much of the parsony,
And just enough of the spice.
I think Id enjoy a medium-rare dish with a side of fries.
Not too tender, not too tough... medium.
Not too little, just enough... medium.
Not too tender, not too tough... medium.
Not too little, just enough... medium.
Medium. medium. medium. medium. just a medium. medium.
? ? ? and I smell the pits but ? ? ? ? ? .
I couldve sworn a ? ? ? last week and scrubbed like ? ? ? .
I like to stink just a little bit,
Just to keep you on your toes yes.
The more I stink the more I think,
That you smell like a rose.
Not too pleasant, not too bad... medium.
Just enough to hold my ? ? ? ... medium.
Not too pleasant, not too bad... medium.
Just enough to hold my ? ? ? ... medium.
Medium. medium. medium. medium. medium. medium.

Dare To Be Stupid

Put down your chainsaw and listen to me
Its time for us to join in the fight
Its time to let your babies grow up to be cowboys
Its time to let the bedbugs bite
You better put all your eggs in one basket
You better count your chickens before they hatch
You better sell some wine before its/its time
You better find yourself an itch to scratch
You better squeeze all the charmin you can while mr. wimpoles not around
Stick your head in the microwave and get yourself a tan
Talk with your mouth full
Bite the hand that feeds you
Bite on more than you chew
What can you do
Dare to be stupid
Take some wooden nickles
Look for mr. goodbar
Get your mojo working now
Ill show you how
You can dare to be stupid
You can turn the other cheek
You can just give up the ship
You can eat a bunch of sushi and forget to leave a tip
Dare to be stupid
Come on and dare to be stupid
Its so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
Were all waiting for you
Lets go
Its time to make a mountain out of a molehill
So can I have a volunteer
Theres no more time for crying over spilled milk
Now its time for crying in your beer
Settle down, raise a family, join the pta
Buy some sensible shoes and a chevyrolet
And party till youre broke and they drive you away
Its ok, you can dare to be stupid
Its like spitting on a fish
Its like barking up a tree
Its like I said you gotta buy one if you wanna get one free
Dare to be stupid (yes)
Why dont you dare to be stupid
Its so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
Were all waiting for you
Dare to be stupid
Burn your candle at both ends
Look a gift horse in the mouth
Mashed potatoes can be your friends
You can be a coffee achiever

Dare To Dream

(paul begaud/vanessa corish/wayne tester)
I am my own believer
In my heart the reason
I will follow the light from within
Im not afraid of weakness
Im gonna taste the sweetness
Of the power not to give in
Oh I will see it through
I believe this is my moment of truth
Dare to dream
Dare to fly
Dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky
Dare to reach
Dare to rise
Find the strength to set my spirit free
Dare to dream
I will go the distance
Embrace resistance
I will lay my soul on the line
When the wait is over
And the hunger has spoken
If I give my all,i will shine
Oh I will see it through
I believe, this is my moment of truth
Dare to dream
Dare to fly
Dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky
Dare to reach
Dare to rise
Find the strength to set my spirit free
Dare to dream,oh
And the heart will shine like the sun
A million voices together as one
I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe
Dare to dream
Dare to fly
Dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky
Dare to reach
Dare to rise
Find the strength to set my spirit free
Dare to dream
Dare to fly
Dare to be the ever chosen one to touch the sky
Dare to reach
Dare to rise
Find the strength to set my spirit free
(find the strength to set my spirit free)
Find the strength to do what I believe
(I believe)
Dare to dream

If You Dare

Honey do you love me
Love me like you do
Honey wont you come outside and play
If you dare
If you dare
Yeah, heh
Honey do you love me
Love me like you do
Woman wont you come outside and play
If you dare
If you dare
Woman if you love me
Love me like you do
Love me like you say
Woman wont you come outside and play
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
Yeah you got some going from the fire baby
Yow, oooh
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare
Come on outside, come on outside, come on outside
If you dare

Dare You To Move

Welcome to the planet
Welcome to existence
Everyones here
Everyones here
Everybodys watching you now
Everybody waits for you now
What happens next
What happens next
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before
Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
Tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened

DARE

It's coming up
It's coming up
It's coming up
It's coming up
It's DARE
It's DARE
You got to press it on you
You just protect[?] it
That's what you do, baby
Hold it down, DARE
Jump with the moon and move it
Jump back and forth
It feels like you would let yourself work it out
Never did no harm
Never did no harm
It's DARE
It's coming up
It's coming up
It's coming up

XI. Guido

You are the Cardinal Acciaiuoli, and you,
Abate Panciatichi—two good Tuscan names:
Acciaiuoli—ah, your ancestor it was
Built the huge battlemented convent-block
Over the little forky flashing Greve
That takes the quick turn at the foot o' the hill
Just as one first sees Florence: oh those days!
'T is Ema, though, the other rivulet,
The one-arched brown brick bridge yawns over,—yes,
Gallop and go five minutes, and you gain
The Roman Gate from where the Ema's bridged:
Kingfishers fly there: how I see the bend
O'erturreted by Certosa which he built,
That Senescal (we styled him) of your House!
I do adjure you, help me, Sirs! My blood
Comes from as far a source: ought it to end
This way, by leakage through their scaffold-planks
Into Rome's sink where her red refuse runs?
Sirs, I beseech you by blood-sympathy,
If there be any vile experiment
In the air,—if this your visit simply prove,
When all's done, just a well-intentioned trick,
That tries for truth truer than truth itself,
By startling up a man, ere break of day,
To tell him he must die at sunset,—pshaw!
That man's a Franceschini; feel his pulse,
Laugh at your folly, and let's all go sleep!
You have my last word,—innocent am I
As Innocent my Pope and murderer,
Innocent as a babe, as Mary's own,
As Mary's self,—I said, say and repeat,—
And why, then, should I die twelve hours hence? I—
Whom, not twelve hours ago, the gaoler bade
Turn to my straw-truss, settle and sleep sound
That I might wake the sooner, promptlier pay
His due of meat-and-drink-indulgence, cross
His palm with fee of the good-hand, beside,
As gallants use who go at large again!
For why? All honest Rome approved my part;
Whoever owned wife, sister, daughter,—nay,
Mistress,—had any shadow of any right
That looks like right, and, all the more resolved,
Held it with tooth and nail,—these manly men
Approved! I being for Rome, Rome was for me.
Then, there's the point reserved, the subterfuge
My lawyers held by, kept for last resource,
Firm should all else,—the impossible fancy!—fail,
And sneaking burgess-spirit win the day.
The knaves! One plea at least would hold,—they laughed,—
One grappling-iron scratch the bottom-rock

Im Here, Can You Hear Me, I Made It! (:

Hey there, my name is Sheniqua Lowery. I go to Henry Foss high school, I am currently 18yrs of age, and I was born August,06,1990 in Seattle Washington at Harborview hospital at 6: 00am. I’ve been to several schools in Washington State in my early years. I love school, I try my best at the school work that is given to me.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a lot of things as a grown up. I thought of being a horse trainer, singer, dancer, writer, author, nurse, game maker. But my dream goal is to be a photographer because it inspires me a lot in what you can find in a photo. Not only is it a picture, it tells a lot about the person or object that’s in the photo.

I want to attend Cornish College of the Arts. I have been interest in the college since I wanted to become a singer. I haven’t been on a tour to see the campus.
I am looking forward to getting good grades and a high GPA so it can be possible for me to attend the four year college in Seattle, WA. My GPA is close to a 4.0. I have been looking into some photography classes in my area in Tacoma, WA.
If I successfully graduate from Cornish with a major in photography, I would like to own my own photography business. I would also want to pursue managing my own photography website so my customers can check their prints online and make orders for which prints they want.
Thank you for reading and taking time out of your busy schedule to read it.

Little Man Lost at Vespers - Parody A.A. MILNE Vespers

Little man lost in a world with no heart,
little man called upon, playing a part,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
when will support from society start?

Little man lost, curling up very small
when nobody notices he's there at all,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
all seems unfair when the cupboard is bare.

Little man lost his job, often apart
from hopes of promotion unless he plays smart,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
will the votes counted upset apple-cart?

Little man keeling at foot of the bed,
saw gold is dreams, silver wore in hoar head,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
Christ, no fair Robin Hood's doling fair shares.

Little man's hunger stamps won't ease the cramps
dropp filters through ceiling cracks, happiness damps,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
for walking is healthy when car has the clamps.

Little man's vista through Visa's gone bust,
global economy's threatened, we must
hush, hush, whisper, who’ll dare
plead for the needy confronting despair?

Little man losing out struggles for work,
T.V. instead of expenses or perk,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
though welfare for needy, bank bonus for jerk!

Little man lost counts cost down to a penny,
bank lending cuts spending ruts causing for many,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
when will vain bureaucrat answer vain prayer.

Little man lost with no foot in the door,
Woolworth's now worthless has sunk through the floor,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
when will the wheel turn to set a fair score?

Little man lost at the foot of the tree,
paying through nose for electricity,
hush, hush, whisper who dare,
redundancies, pensions, who’ll care and who’ll share?

Dare To Dream

(adrienne follese/jane bach)
You and me baby, can meet for the weekend
To solidify our plans
Well follow a jet stream to some place exotic
All in the name of romance...
cause
Were still young and in love
And we just believe
We can be strong and do anything
If we dare to dream
Well find a place on a cliff by the ocean
And pay a couple months rent
Ill sell my paintings down by the boardwalk
So well have enough money to spend...
Dare to dream, take it to the extreme
Let your heart and soul lead the way
Live, love, seize the day and
Dare to dream, dare to dream, dare to dream
Dont try to stop us, dont tell us were crazy
Youre only wasting your breath
Were bound and determined to make it all happen
Its just a matter of when
cause
Dare to dream, take it to the extreme
Let your heart and soul lead the way
Live, love, seize the day and
Dare to dream, dare to dream, dare to dream

I Dare You

God only knows how I've needed a friend
Who can see the boldness and pride
Someone strong enough I can put my faith in
Someone willing to let me inside
So be a man and be my man
First Chorus:
I dare you to need me
Like nobody else
I dare you to feel me
Like you've never felt
I dare you to want to want
To wanna be good to me
Baby you've got your reasons
Dangling from kite strings
But you can open your hands, let them fly
Oh I know you wont always say and do the right things
Oh but some things are worth a try
So if you can, be my man
Second Chorus:
I dare you to know me
Like I've never known
I dare you to show me
That I can be shown
Dare you to want to want
To wanna be good to me
Tell me I,
Tell me I'm the one who deserves you
Oh and every time, every time you know that you want to
I dare you
Third Chorus:
I dare you to hold me
Like you never will (again)
Kiss me and leave the world standing still
Dare you to want to want
(repeat first chorus)

Tiger's Rumour and other Parodies William Blake - The Tyger

Tyger’s Rumour

Rumour rushing rampant right
round faithless forests of wraith night,
what immoral hand or eye
could frame fly tearless symmetry?

In what deep and dark disguise
spread irking libel, lurking lies?
on what wasp wings dare they aspire –
e’er slander sting tongues air fame liar?

What woeful infamous black art
wrung toxic sinews, tocsin heart
rung when sin heart broke cheating beat,
what sleight of hand to greet deceit!

What wrong's hammer, what strong chain?
in what furnace forged? What brain
fed wily worms sly envy's [g]rasp,
bred spiteful deadly [t]errors’ [g]asp?

Tyger's Eye - after William Blake

Tyger's Eye

Tyger Tyger, once again
we'll praise your uncontested reign
where golden eye implies rebirth,
of jungle lord's word none constrain.

From distant deeps of tropic skies.
to forests sparse where eagle flies,
your power ripples round world's girth -
how could it e'er be otherwise?

Strength in each and every part
needs no paltry poet's art
to illustrate your peerless worth
which rhymes through time in class apart.

Neither hammer, chain, may blind
furnace features, anvil mind,
you represent upon this Earth
both force and freedom none may bind.

The Tyger

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes!
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare sieze the fire!

And what shoulder, and what art.
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand! and what dread feet!

What the hammer! what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain
What the anvil, what dread grasp,

The Cenci : A Tragedy In Five Acts

DRAMATIS PERSONÆ

Count Francesco Cenci.
Giacomo, his Son.
Bernardo, his Son.
Cardinal Camillo.
Orsino, a Prelate.
Savella, the Pope's Legate.
Olimpio, Assassin.
Marzio, Assassin.
Andrea, Servant to Cenci.
Nobles, Judges, Guards, Servants.
Lucretia, Wife of Cenci, and Step-mother of his children.
Beatrice, his Daughter.

The Scene lies principally in Rome, but changes during the Fourth Act to Petrella, a castle among the Apulian Apennines.
Time. During the Pontificate of Clement VIII.

ACT I

Scene I.
-An Apartment in the Cenci Palace.
Enter Count Cenci, and Cardinal Camillo.

Camillo.
That matter of the murder is hushed up
If you consent to yield his Holiness
Your fief that lies beyond the Pincian gate.-
It needed all my interest in the conclave
To bend him to this point: he said that you
Bought perilous impunity with your gold;
That crimes like yours if once or twice compounded
Enriched the Church, and respited from hell
An erring soul which might repent and live:-
But that the glory and the interest
Of the high throne he fills, little consist
With making it a daily mart of guilt
As manifold and hideous as the deeds
Which you scarce hide from men's revolted eyes.

Cenci.
The third of my possessions-let it go!
Ay, I once heard the nephew of the Pope
Had sent his architect to view the ground,
Meaning to build a villa on my vines
The next time I compounded with his uncle:
I little thought he should outwit me so!

Prince Hohenstiel-Schwangau, Saviour of Society

Epigraph

I slew the Hydra, and from labour pass'd
To labour — tribes of labours! Till, at last,
Attempting one more labour, in a trice,
Alack, with ills I crowned the edifice.

You have seen better days, dear? So have I —
And worse too, for they brought no such bud-mouth
As yours to lisp "You wish you knew me!" Well,
Wise men, 't is said, have sometimes wished the same,
And wished and had their trouble for their pains.
Suppose my Œdipus should lurk at last
Under a pork-pie hat and crinoline,
And, latish, pounce on Sphynx in Leicester Square?
Or likelier, what if Sphynx in wise old age,
Grown sick of snapping foolish people's heads,
And jealous for her riddle's proper rede, —
Jealous that the good trick which served the turn
Have justice rendered it, nor class one day
With friend Home's stilts and tongs and medium-ware,—
What if the once redoubted Sphynx, I say,
(Because night draws on, and the sands increase,
And desert-whispers grow a prophecy)
Tell all to Corinth of her own accord.
Bright Corinth, not dull Thebes, for Lais' sake,
Who finds me hardly grey, and likes my nose,
And thinks a man of sixty at the prime?
Good! It shall be! Revealment of myself!
But listen, for we must co-operate;
I don't drink tea: permit me the cigar!
First, how to make the matter plain, of course —
What was the law by which I lived. Let 's see:
Ay, we must take one instant of my life
Spent sitting by your side in this neat room:
Watch well the way I use it, and don't laugh!
Here's paper on the table, pen and ink:
Give me the soiled bit — not the pretty rose!
See! having sat an hour, I'm rested now,
Therefore want work: and spy no better work
For eye and hand and mind that guides them both,
During this instant, than to draw my pen
From blot One — thus — up, up to blot Two — thus —
Which I at last reach, thus, and here's my line
Five inches long and tolerably straight:

The Corsair

'O'er the glad waters of the dark blue sea,
Our thoughts as boundless, and our soul's as free
Far as the breeze can bear, the billows foam,
Survey our empire, and behold our home!
These are our realms, no limits to their sway-
Our flag the sceptre all who meet obey.
Ours the wild life in tumult still to range
From toil to rest, and joy in every change.
Oh, who can tell? not thou, luxurious slave!
Whose soul would sicken o'er the heaving wave;
Not thou, vain lord of wantonness and ease!
whom slumber soothes not - pleasure cannot please -
Oh, who can tell, save he whose heart hath tried,
And danced in triumph o'er the waters wide,
The exulting sense - the pulse's maddening play,
That thrills the wanderer of that trackless way?
That for itself can woo the approaching fight,
And turn what some deem danger to delight;
That seeks what cravens shun with more than zeal,
And where the feebler faint can only feel -
Feel - to the rising bosom's inmost core,
Its hope awaken and Its spirit soar?
No dread of death if with us die our foes -
Save that it seems even duller than repose:
Come when it will - we snatch the life of life -
