If you are going to have to play defense all the time, you cannot have the kind of ingenuity, assertiveness, independence, and intelligence which is what has made our country strong.

She says 'imagine
Her liketh, poetry is a trigger to everything,
Describes her partial humor
Self articulation, assertiveness
*sunprincess*sunprincess*sunprin cess*
Meeting her? It is a beat for thee!
Close your eyes, imagine her picture
She says, dare if it were not you!
*sunprincess*sunprincess*sunprincess*
Talk to her? The voice should be effusive of course,
You are doubting! It's my imagination not yours!
Of course she has twitter, face book, email accounts
Save me the phone because even Mr. Dumber knows she has.

Smile a little because I too, does

Assertiveness
Assertiveness
It is very hot I have switched off the air-condition and
opened up windows, it is supposed to be hot in July.
I hadn’t wanted to buy air- cooling in the first place,
I’m too placid and get swayed to do the wrong things.
I sit on the terrace on the terrace, in a plastic chair
that is easy to move around I used to have had a chair
of real wood before I liked more, but it was given to
someone poor; I think about it and get upset I ought
to put my foot down and say: No. Summers past I sat
in my heavy timber chair and smoked my cigarettes,
the burn kept mosquitoes away, now it is frown upon
and I dastardly I quit, but I do have a packet of fags in
the drawers; maybe one day, if I get pissed off enough
by the virtuous, I’ll lit up and enjoy my august nights.

Preserve Family
Man will put his trust in woman
For an exchange of fidelity.
Breach of fidelity amounts
To the forfeiting the trust of his
Restraints of sexual impulses
Are the outcome of fidelity.
Restraints of evil tendencies
Are the result of trustworthiness.
Trust is wider than fidelity.
A part of the trust is fidelity.
In spite of infidelity,
Trustworthiness can be still there.
Marriage is built on mutual trust.
Fail marks in one of the subjects
Should not warrant total dismissal.
Be that field improved or overlooked.
A man tends to flirt with other women
And still stands by his own woman.
A woman who responds to men’s lure
Can still be loyal to her husband.
Man’s disloyalty doesn’t hurt
Woman as much as woman’s does.
It is more from his possessiveness.
It is more from his assertiveness.
Love and trust travel beyond sex.
Wife’s status is husband’s status.
Child’s status id parents status.
Identity will take care of trust.

Self Reliance
A naïve little girl
Always shy and scared
Hard knocks of life tamed her well
Self-reliant now and fully prepared.
Long journey of fear and timidity
Fallen many times, apprehension was paired
Exaggerated modesty was actually cowardice
Boldness and assertion, never dared
Life and Time are two great teachers
Many lessons learned and wisdom shared
happy now, grown out from past
Things are better and much repaired.
Self reliance her Gold, freedom her riches
To people has accounts undeclared
Assertiveness and confidence now her jewels
People and life, all pretty squared.

Anger And Jealousy
Anger and jealousy are siblings both self destructive in their own way
Of the damage they give rise to we hear and read of every day
In assaults and murder and every violent sort of crime
So many people because of them in prison serving time
Anger and jealousy to assertiveness different in every way
That only does seem a fair thing to say
Those who are assertive speak with a clear mind
To outbursts of anger they are not inclined
Jealousy and anger out of control
Blocks out the light from the windows of the soul
Non human friendly that cannot be denied
Worse flaws by far than even arrogance and pride
To violence and crimes against others they do lead
Anger and jealousy are siblings indeed

I am quite valuable
I am quite valuable
In a time when your wealth is your measure.
The house you live in, worth more than you are.
The Ferrari you buy has a space for the bag of heads needed to afford it.
Your credit rating more important than your education.
Your position more important than your country of origin.
When assertiveness is lightly veiled threats of murder.
When nothing you do pays the rent.
Where you are judged as to suitability on securing an unobtainable income.
A time when even the most foul can make the rules with wealth.
A time when you don't have the credit for your own experiences.
I protest that without any of the above, my Master's level education remains more than a case of opposing thumbs.
After all, it's top 4%, when millions can't read or add up.
