Patience Rules

I am told that idea rules the world
The real ruler is patience
Patience owns the plannet
The child of patience is idea
Without patience idea is aborted

Patience rules the world
Patience is gradual and steady
Yet it always leads to victory
Although the snail has neither hand nor leg
Patiently its destinations are reached

Nothing can be attained without patience
It is with patience
That snake climbs coconut trees
An ant invested firewood
Is fetched vide patience

Patience is profitable
Whatever you desire in life
Let patience be your watchword
Only the patient can milk lionness
Kingship is attained through patience
Royal crown is perfectly fitted by it

Hurray! patience is the champion
Patience is it!

Sonnet: A Bit of Patience

A bit of patience works out miracles;
A bit of patience puts off arguments;
A bit of patience problems well tackles;
A bit of patience preserves monuments.

A bit of patience can avoid hatred;
A bit of patience cools one’s anger off;
A bit of patience marks well good kindred;
A bit of patience makes many to laugh.

A bit of patience keeps good friends at peace;
A bit of patience can avoid big wars;
A bit of patience can jealousy cease;
A bit of patience can avoid big scars.

A bit of patience gives good advantage;
A bit of patience is good heritage.

Your Patience Is Needed To Feed It

Don't do it to stop...
No!
Don't do it to drop...
No!

Just you know that...
Every single prayer,
That is made...
Stays right there.

A patience is needed.
Your patience is needed to feed it.

Every single prayer,
That is made...
Stays right there.

A patience is needed.
Don't leave it to disbelieve.
You must keep your faith to receive,
And appreciate what comes to be.

Oh don't exchange woes,
To give up and let go.
Don't you know that...
Every single prayer,
That is made...
Stays right there.

A patience is needed.
Your patience is needed to feed it.
A patience is needed to greet it.

Every single prayer,
That is made...
Stays right there.

A patience is needed.
Don't leave it to disbelieve.
Be right there to meet it and greet.

Don't do it to stop...
No!
Don't do it to drop...
No!
Don't do it to stop...
No!
Don't do it to drop...
No!

Squire Hawkins's Story

I hain't no hand at tellin' tales,
Er spinnin' yarns, as the sailors say;
Someway o' 'nother, language fails
To slide fer me in the oily way
That LAWYERS has; and I wisht it would,
Fer I've got somepin' that I call good;
But bein' only a country squire,
I've learned to listen and admire,
Ruther preferrin' to be addressed
Than talk myse'f--but I'll do my best:--

Old Jeff Thompson--well, I'll say,
Was the clos'test man I ever saw!--
Rich as cream, but the porest pay,
And the meanest man to work fer--La!
I've knowed that man to work one 'hand'--
Fer little er nothin', you understand--
From four o'clock in the morning light
Tel eight and nine o'clock at night,
And then find fault with his appetite!
He'd drive all over the neighberhood
To miss the place where a toll-gate stood,
And slip in town, by some old road
That no two men in the county knowed,
With a jag o' wood, and a sack o' wheat,
That wouldn't burn and you couldn't eat!
And the trades he'd make, 'll I jest de-clare,
Was enough to make a preacher swear!
And then he'd hitch, and hang about
Tel the lights in the toll-gate was blowed out,
And then the turnpike he'd turn in
And sneak his way back home ag'in!

Some folks hint, and I make no doubt,
That that's what wore his old wife out--
Toilin' away from day to day
And year to year, through heat and cold,
Uncomplainin'--the same old way
The martyrs died in the days of old;
And a-clingin', too, as the martyrs done,
To one fixed faith, and her ONLY one,--
Little Patience, the sweetest child
That ever wept unrickonciled,
Er felt the pain and the ache and sting
That only a mother's death can bring.

Patience Thompson!--I think that name
Must 'a' come from a power above,
Fer it seemed to fit her jest the same
As a GAITER would, er a fine kid glove!

On Being Patient

Patient persons seldom lose;
Winning always seems their forte;
Time may not be on their side;
But in life, there’s no defeat!

Patience is a virtuous trait –
Key to success in all fields;
Though the odds are very great,
God is always on their side!

Patience makes a brave heart calm;
Tussles end in glorious ways;
Struggles seem simply trivial;
Battles end victoriously!

Patient men can earn a lot;
Patience gives an edge to all;
Patience turns the tide of things;
Patience brings expected ends.

Patience fountain rises high,
Baffling people’s minds and hearts;
Patience comes by sustained toil,
Bringing cheers to all who seek!

A patient soul unnerves foes;
None can take him for granted;
Life is rosy till the end;
Charm of patience grows always!

Patience Given

Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!

Patience given to a child,
Learning when and how to use a toilet.
Patience given to a child,
Going to school for the first time.
Patience given to a child,
Learning how to share.
Patience given to a child,
When left with a babysitter.
Patience given to a child,
When learning the difference...
Between telling a lie and being honest.
Patience given to a child,
When being taught to be responsible.

Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!
Extenuating exceptions beyond the call of reason,
Requires one to ignore with an ability...
That preserves a peace of mind one wishes,
To keep and maintain undisturbed...
By those who are,
Disturbed by their expectations to be exceptions...
To the rule.

Man's best companion

Patience is the greatest weapon of man
By exercising patience
Every enduring task is accomplished
Patience is a kind of worship
It is a great service to God
When everyone deserts him
It is his patience that stands by him
In happiness patience prevents him From going astray
In his sorrow patience saves him
From being rigid to God
Patience is his best companion
Through thick and thin.

I'm Tired Of Giving It

I'm tired of giving it.
My patience and with love.
I'm tired of giving it,
Everything I need.
And no one gives to me.

I'm tired of giving it.
My patience and with love.
I'm tired of giving it,
Everything I need.
And no one gives to me.
It seems.

Time and understanding,
With an empathy that feeds...
I'm tired of giving it,
Everything I need.

A listening ear,
To comprehend my feelings.
Maybe I shouldn't even be near...
To have a dumping of a pity appear.

I'm tired of giving it,
My time.
I'm tired of giving it,
My patience.
Tired of giving it,
Empathy...
No one gives to me.

I'm tired of giving it,
My time.
I'm tired of giving it,
My patience.
I'm tired of losing my mind,
With a showing of impatience.

Tired of giving up,
Time.
Tired of giving up,
Patience.
I'm tired of hoping to find...
Some peace-of-mind.

I'm tired of giving it,
My time.
I'm tired of giving it,
My patience.
I'm tired of losing my mind,

Reputation

(brian spence)
(reputation) - (repeat x 12)
Theyre gonna want you
Theyre gonna love you
Theyre gonna make your dreams come true
They dont know the real you, but
Theyre gonna steal you, oh
Theyre gonna take my dreams away
Well you tried, you looked for a way
Of keeping your face, of keeping your face, oh, oh
(reputation)
You try and you try again
(isnt worth the patience)
You leave me to cry again
(who cares what theyre thinking? ) oh, oh
(who cares what theyre whispering? , whispering, whispering)
You know I wont blame you
And I wont defame you, oh
I wont name you in any court of law
Well you tried, you looked for a way
Of keeping your face, of keeping your face, oh, oh
(reputation)
You try and you try again
(isnt worth the patience)
You leave me to cry again
(who cares what theyre thinking? ) oh, oh
(who cares what theyre whispering? , whispering)
Theyre whispering
(reputation)
You try and you try again
(isnt worth the patience)
You leave me to cry again
(who cares what theyre thinking? ) baby
(who cares what theyre whispering? , whispering, whispering), ooh, ooh
You leave me to cry again
Well you tried
Baby, you looked for a way, oh
You dont want to change, but
You still change the same, oh
(reputation)
You try and you try again
(isnt worth the patience)
You leave me to cry again
(who cares what theyre thinking? ) oh, oh
(who cares what theyre whispering, whispering? )
Theyre whispering

Patience, Hard Thing! The Hard Thing But To Pray

Patience, hard thing! the hard thing but to pray,
But bid for, Patience is! Patience who asks
Wants war, wants wounds; weary his times, his tasks;
To do without, take tosses, and obey.
Rare patience roots in these, and, these away,
Nowhere. Natural heart's ivy, Patience masks
Our ruins of wrecked past purpose. There she basks
Purple eyes and seas of liquid leaves all day.

We hear our hearts grate on themselves: it kills
To bruise them dearer. Yet the rebellious wills
Of us we do bid God bend to him even so.
And where is he who more and more distils
Delicious kindness?—He is patient. Patience fills
His crisp combs, and that comes those ways we know.

The Wanderer: A Vision: Canto V

We left the cave. Be Fear (said I) defy'd!
Virtue (for thou art Virtue) is my guide.

By time-worn steps a steep ascent we gain,
Whose summit yields a prospect o'er the plain.
There, bench'd with turf, an oak our seat extends,
Whose top, a verdant, branch'd pavilion bends.
Vistas, with leaves, diversify the scene,
Some pale, some brown, and some of lively green.

Now, from the full-grown day a beamy show'r
Gleams on the lake, and gilds each glossy flow'r.
Gay insects sparkle in the genial blaze,
Various as light, and countless as its rays:
They dance on every stream, and pictur'd play,
'Till, by the wat'ry racer, snatch'd away.

Now, from yon range of rocks, strong rays rebound,
Doubling the day on flow'ry plains around:
King-cups beneath far-striking colours glance,
Bright as th' etherial glows the green expanse.
Gems of the field!-the topaz charms the sight,
Like these, effulging yellow streams of light.
From the same rocks, fall rills with soften'd force,
Meet in yon mead, and well a river's source.
Thro' her clear channel, shine her finny shoals,
O'er sands, like gold, the liquid crystal rolls.
Dimm'd in yon coarser moor, her charms decay,
And shape, thro' rustling reeds, a ruffled way.
Near willows short and bushy shadows throw:
Now lost, she seems thro' nether tracts to flow;
Yet, at yon point, winds out in silver state,
Like Virtue from a labyrinth of fate.
In length'ning rows, prone from the mountains, run
The flocks:-their fleeces glist'ning in the sun;
Her streams they seek, and, 'twixt her neighb'ring trees,
Recline in various attitudes of ease.
Where the herds sip, the little scaly fry,
Swift from the shore, in scatt'ring myriads fly.

Each liv'ry'd cloud, that round th' horizon glows,
Shifts in odd scenes, like earth, from whence it rose.
The bee hums wanton in yon jasmine bow'r,
And circling settles, and despoils the flow'r.
Melodious there the plumy songsters meet,
And call charm'd Echo from her arch'd retreat.

Every Single Sound I Listen To; Patience.

Asphyxiated with filthy airs and warmth.
Not knowing and unable to recognize freshness no longer.
Every single day and night..
Smothered by pungent consisting filth and warmth.
Every single day and night.
Engulfed by the filthy filth surrounding my space between anxiety and worries.
Every single day and night.
Adding up to hopeless believing.
Beliefs in oneself to stay strong to survive.
Every single day and night.
Irony, irony, irony.
Nothing comes nothing goes.
Everything comes, nothing left.
Every single day and night, it attacks.
With such might i didnt possess which i wish i did.
Trying to calm my tears rather than my nerves.
Calming my tears and holding back my nerves.
Holding back my tears and calming my nerves.
Calming those tears and holding back my nerves.
Holding back my tears and calming my nerves down.
Deprived.distort.discontinoushit.
Eve ry single day and night.
Patience rooted deep in my head.
Rooted deep in my brain; patience.
Patience in this brain for this filth i breathe.
Patience in this brain excites this filth and triggers the angst.
Every single day and night.
Wisdom to enrich intelligence.
Wisdom to empower failure of being cheated.
Cheated over the matter of time.
Patience once again present for the time.
Every single day and night.
Distracted by comfort of souls.
Closely souls in my heart and in my eyes.
Converse vivaciously.
Souls that lingers almost 20 hours of my time.
Every single day and night.
Every single day and night.
Every single day of nights' day.
Patience.
Pays off.
Every single time.

Byron

Canto the First

I
I want a hero: an uncommon want,
When every year and month sends forth a new one,
Till, after cloying the gazettes with cant,
The age discovers he is not the true one;
Of such as these I should not care to vaunt,
I'll therefore take our ancient friend Don Juan—
We all have seen him, in the pantomime,
Sent to the devil somewhat ere his time.

II
Vernon, the butcher Cumberland, Wolfe, Hawke,
Prince Ferdinand, Granby, Burgoyne, Keppel, Howe,
Evil and good, have had their tithe of talk,
And fill'd their sign posts then, like Wellesley now;
Each in their turn like Banquo's monarchs stalk,
Followers of fame, "nine farrow" of that sow:
France, too, had Buonaparté and Dumourier
Recorded in the Moniteur and Courier.

III
Barnave, Brissot, Condorcet, Mirabeau,
Petion, Clootz, Danton, Marat, La Fayette,
Were French, and famous people, as we know:
And there were others, scarce forgotten yet,
Joubert, Hoche, Marceau, Lannes, Desaix, Moreau,
With many of the military set,
Exceedingly remarkable at times,
But not at all adapted to my rhymes.

IV
Nelson was once Britannia's god of war,
And still should be so, but the tide is turn'd;
There's no more to be said of Trafalgar,
'T is with our hero quietly inurn'd;
Because the army's grown more popular,
At which the naval people are concern'd;
Besides, the prince is all for the land-service,
Forgetting Duncan, Nelson, Howe, and Jervis.

V
Brave men were living before Agamemnon
And since, exceeding valorous and sage,
A good deal like him too, though quite the same none;
But then they shone not on the poet's page,
And so have been forgotten:—I condemn none,
But can't find any in the present age
Fit for my poem (that is, for my new one);
So, as I said, I'll take my friend Don Juan.

Sonnet: Patience

Wait for thy day, hour, opportunity;
Things don’t happen always as per scheduled;
Patience’s, a magical ability;
Than when hot, a man can do more when cooled.

Patience pays the user rich dividends!
The more one waits, the more will be returns;
The cracks in mind of revenge, patience mends;
Reward is sure before they take thine urns.

Wait on and on but seize thy golden chance,
That seldom knocks doors of a waiting heart;
Patience is asset when you time your dance;
If ill-chosen, it capsizes life’s cart.

Remarkable is Patience in man’s craft,
That works wonders, tho’ late in every art.

Limit Of Tolerance

It is best to be shown,
By the one detected they are not to be bothered.
Than it is to be known,
As the one who collects other's junk to dump.
Inconvenienced by this and misunderstood to be a chump.

People wont say it but that's what they think.
When someone is designated always available,
To be believed to have a loosened link.
People wont say it but that's what they think.

Yes, it's best to to show,
There is a limit of tolerance.
Than to be the one chosen...
With unlimited patience when there isn't.

Some people may pretend they comprehend,
With a patience given.
But a patience it isn't.

Some people 'look' as if they're there to listen,
With a patience given.
But a patience it isn't.

Some people may keep their mouths kept closed.
Preferring to keep their distance.
And some may not want their thoughts exposed.
Even if their thoughts may make a difference.

If one is deemed as approachable.
And perceived to have a desperate disposition.

When The Limits To Patience Diminish To None

When a patience known,
Had been unconditionally given...
With an administering to those,
To meet their requests met to be shown.
And people with their heightened expectations,
Can not be satisfied to set aside their undue selfishness.
To forget or not acknowledge to abide,
How patience becomes developed to give in the first place.
With a dismissing of it to believe it will never be erased.
And then one day...
That day many find hard to face,
All of the patience given comes to an end.
Never to be taken for granted again.
When all of those praying with a begging done.
With kept beliefs a giving of patience should to them come,
Become stunned.
When the limits of patience diminish to none.

Here I sit with my paper…

Here I sit with my paper, my pen my ink,
First of this thing, and that thing,
and t'other thing think ;
I Then my thoughts come so pell and
I mell all into my mind,
That the sense or the subject I never can find :
This word is wrong placed, no
regard to the sense,
The present and future, instead of
past tense,
Then my grammar I want; O dear!
what a bore,
I think I shall never attempt to
write more,
With patience I then my thoughts
must arraign,
Have them all in due order like
mutes in a train,
Like them too must wait in due
patience and thought,
Or else my fine works will all come
to nought.
My wit too 's so copious, it flows
like a river,
But disperses its waters on black
and white never ;
Like smoke it appears independent
and free,
But ah luckless smoke! it all passes
like thee
Then at length all my patience entirely
lost,
My paper and pens in the fire are
tossed ;
But come, try again you must
never despair,
Our Murray's or Entick's are not
all so rare,
Implore their assistance they'll
come to your aid,
Perform all your business without
being paid,
They'll tell you the present tense,
future and past,
Which should come first, and which
should come last,
This Murray will do then to Entick
repair,
To find out the meaning of any
word rare.

A Virtue Well Tested

'Patience, my child'
said with a loving touch
to calm the little one's restlessness,
that time is not moving quite fast enough

'Patience, my child'
said with a time tested grin
to teach another of time's leisureliness,
that eventually, life will begin

'Patience, my child'
said with a knowing heart
to mend the young one of their brokeness,
that one day, love will start

'Patience, my child'
said with much sympathy
to give insight to life's wretchedness,
that Providence remains almighty

'Patience, my child'
said to a tired heart and mind
to soothe the pain of his lonliness,
that soon Rest he will find
