The Left And The Right

the left and the right
they learn to co-exist
numbers and words
poetry and prose
mediocrity and seriousness
money and love
passions and reservations
the flowers and the bees
i am making a balance
of the yin and the yang
the crowd and solitude
heaven and hell.

With A Sitting On The 'Left' Side

Anything that deals,
With that which should be rightfully done...
Is regarded by many,
To be antics of those liberal.
With a sitting on the 'left' side.
Leaving those feeling entitled and self righteous,
To do whatever it is they choose as liked.
Wherever for them there is an advantage.
However...
With a preference to view themselves,
Conservatively fixed with sights on the right...
And blinded by the self servicing.

Cafe On The Left Bank

Cafe on the left bank, ordinary wine
Touching all the girls with your eyes
Tiny crowd of frenchmen round a tv shop
Watching charles de gaulle make a speech
Dancing after midnight, sprawling to the car
Continental breakfast in the bar
English-speaking people drinking german beer
Talking far too loud for their ears
Cafe on the left bank, ordinary wine
Touching all the girls with your eyes
Dancing after midnight, crawling to the car
Cocktail waitress waiting in the bar
English-speaking people drinking german beer
Talking way too loud for their ears

Two More Steps To The Left!

I can attest,
Your ego satisfies...
Inclusively held delusions.

If you step away from yourself...
And the splendor of kept desires,
Wrapped around home spun visions.
You will witness contributions made,
Beyond the entrapment...
Of delibitating egos suffered,
By those identified with banners waving...
From incredible self indulgent stances!

And I know I am not like that!
But you can remove yourself,
From my light!

'How is this?
Is this alright? '

Two more steps to the left!
Better yet...
Keep stepping.
I'll tell you when to stop.

'But I am already in the shadows.'

And what is your point?
Keep steppin'.

From The Left

As the world moves to the left, we must stay our course instead,
Pointing men towards the right, out of the dark, into God’s Light,
From the broader road indeed, we must help men see their need,
While we’re here upon this sod, and point all to The Truth of God.

It’s still the Lord God, who saves, from the road this world paves,
That road which is a broader way, that is getting darker every day,
This is where God’s Light comes in, to free all from a world of sin,
From that road to be condemned, a broad road designed by men.

That road today, is broader still, as men abandon God’s Holy Will,
With amoral opinions oh so strong, many turn from right to wrong,
Turning black and white to gray, adding more to man’s broad way,
Turning aside from God’s ways, seeking not His, but man’s praise.

The broad way, we can be assured, will be destroyed by our Lord,
As every Godless manmade path, will see God’s Righteous wrath,
As men deny God’s Eternal Truth, they set themselves for reproof,
Turning from The Word of God, they’ll see Christ’s Righteous Rod.

So we must be a Light for Christ, willing, for God, to pay the price,
Speaking out against that crowd, lifting The Word, high and proud,
Helping some men out of the night, from the left, back to the right,
Pointing men from the darker fray, back to The Lord’s Narrow Way.

The Dead Man Speaks

A man who’s tired of being alone
Shout to the sky,
In a broken land,
It’s hard to live without telling a lie
Every moment is dull
Every person is plastic
There’s no one you can trust
You’re world is your self
For many years, I live there
Until now I can’t escape it
I want to start a new
Still the past always comes back
It is always hunting me
I am tired of this fucking life,
This ruin life with many broken dreams
Lord, please help me,
Help me to get out of this shit
Save from this hell
Give me another chance
To live happily and peacefully.

Emily Dickinson

The heart asks pleasure first

The heart asks pleasure first
And then, excuse from pain-
And then, those little anodynes
That deaden suffering;

And then, to go to sleep;
And then, if it should be
The will of its Inquisitor,
The liberty to die.

Yes, The Sands Of The Desert Always Remember

it was taught
to know the roots
of its suffering
the sands still
remember the
sea it once owned
the salt and
the cover of
water
the corals and the
fish
yes, the sands always
remember
they always hope
to recover
what they lost
to the sun

Book Of Suleika - The Loving One Speaks

THE LOVING ONE SPEAKS.

AND wherefore sends not
The horseman-captain
His heralds hither

Each day, unfailing?
Yet hath he horses,
He writes well.

He waiteth Tali,
And Neski knows he
To write with beauty
On silken tablets.
I'd deem him present,
Had I his words.

The sick One will not,
Will not recover
From her sweet sorrow;
She, when she heareth
That her true lover
Grows well, falls sick.

Other Side of the Fence Always Looks Green

I saw a bird
Sitting in the window
She looked
Calm and cozy
I told her
She was lucky
Could fly in the sky
Go from place to place
See the world swiftly
She replied
Other side of the fence
Always looks green
I have to save myself
From big birds
Preying on me
Human beings always
Trying to catch me
Hot summer, cold winter
Kills many of us
Throughout the day
I have to search for food
Cannot store food
Like you can do
Our nests are weak
Get easily destroyed
In rain and storm
To save my life from
A boy with a catapult
Searching for me
I am hiding
In the window
Near you

The Sun Always Shines On T. V.

Touch me
How can it be
Believe me
The sun always shines on t.v
Hold me
Close to your heart
Touch me
And give all your love to me
To me...
I reached inside myself
And found nothing there
To ease the pressure of
My ever worrying mind
All my powers waste away
I fear the crazed and lonely looks
The mirrors sending me
These days
Please dont ask me to defend
The shamefull lowlands
Of the way Im drifting
Gloomily through time
I reached inside myself today
Thinking theres got to be some way
To keep my troubles distant
Touch me
How can it be
Believe me
The sun always shines on tv
Hold me
Close to your heart
Touch me
And give all your love to me

The Poem That Speaks Of Nothing

The poem that speaks of nothing
Tells of nothing convoluted at all.
It has no need of metering,
Or of emotions that rise and fall.

The poem that has no content
Lacks subject matter to cover.
So forget the flowers that you sent
To your faithful lover.

The poem devoid of plot
Has no farfetched tale to tell.
There’s no mention of battles fought
Against the very spawn of Hell.

The poem in absence of metaphors
Is not written by someone who will
Tell of reposing forevermore
Or of running naked through the hill.

The poem that speaks of nothing
Dares not mention the roaring sea.
And the poem that speaks of nothing
That is the poem for me.

Understatement

Sometimes we say something
and then ask ourselves
why the heck did we say that.
Our mouth went in one direction
while our mind went in another.
When someone asks
what we meant by that
we feel a bit bemused
and can’t give an answer.
We do it all the time,
putting our foot in our mouth
and wish we had left it where it was
standing on the ground.
I once went out with a girl
in my very younger years,
who when she dumped me said
“I love you and I don’t want to hurt you
which why I’m packing you up.”
That statement makes no sense.
If you love someone, so much
you’d want to be with them all the time.
As for not hurting them.
Whenever someone leaves
the person, who is left always feels the hurt.
Now that is what you call
an understatement.

Before This Glass Hits The Floor

.......................................

'F ortune and love favor the brave.'
-Ovid

......................... ..............

Please, don't ever tell me that you love me.
And please don't whisper softly that you care.
Please don't start talking about forever.
I've never seen much of a future there.

Please don't mention building up a family,
A picket fence would never do for me.
You can't cage-in the spirit of a Red Wolf,
When all he ever wants to be is free.

I've been down that crazy detour once too often,
And I know the way the pages always turn.
First comes the 'Sweetheart, how I love you.'
Then comes the burn.

So, please, never, ever, ever say you love me.
This is all I'll ever answer for.
If I ever start to think you're seeing way too much in me,
I'll be gone before this glass hits the floor.

The Strongest Always Rule

One cannot say that an animal in any way can be cruel
For in the animal kingdom the strongest always rule
And in their law unlike our law there is no wrong or right
The ruler always the biggest the one with the biggest bite.

Because she had killed a baby possum the fellow beat his cat
Though she could not have known the difference between a possum and a rat
To her it was just a smaller creature and on it she could prey
And beating her will never changes her from her natural way.

She may be well fed and cared for and she may be sleek and fat
And she may purr beside you by the fireplace on the mat
But the desire to kill smaller creatures is always in the cat
In her the instincts of the predator and nothing can change that.

He beat his cat for killing a baby possum but the cat's a beast of prey
And she is a natural predator and she'll always be that way
And one cannot say that an animal in any way can be cruel
For in the animal kingdom the strongest always rule.

The Brigidaire General Speaks At The Wedding

the retired general speaks
at the wedding
in an open garden, about marriage,

that one must marry for love
and no other
because when love is gone
then everything is gone

i look at my wife waiting for her turn
to speak
and i am thinking: what if love is gone?

what if love flies out of the window like a black bird
tired of its nest wanting to go and find another island
a new breeding ground
a direction for another migration
away from a very cold season
towards a warmer ground?

i think, one marries more than love,
one makes a promise
for better or for worse, for richer or poorer,
in sickness and in health

till death do us part: one marries not just for love
but for a promise,
for marriage is more than that, it is more than a contract,
it is a covenant,

that we who love, that we sometime
when we fall out of love
looks at the covenant and
abides by what is found there

that we live together, that we are one, and only death can separate us.
the assumption is: love sometimes burns itself, and is consumed
like our bodies that rot, like our bones that turn to dust,
like the life that dies, that the mind that shuts down

i think, i am falling out of love, i think,
i must abide by the covenant.

after the General has spoken
i shake his hand, and make a nod,
i admit, i still have more to say,
but it shall be my wife who must say it.

she signed the covenant too
inside our heart, our souls know it.

Where The Birds Always Sing

The world is neither fair nor unfair
The idea is just a way for us to understand
But the world is neither fair nor unfair
So one survives
The others die
And you always want a reason why
But the world is neither just nor unjust
It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it
No, the world is neither just nor unjust
And though going young
So much undone
Is a tragedy for everyone
It doesn't speak a plan or any secret thing
No unseen sign or untold truth in anything...
But living on in others, in memories and dreams
Is not enough
You want everything
Another world where the sun always shines
And the birds always sing
Always sing...
The world is neither fair nor unfair
The idea is just a way for us to understand
No the world is neither fair nor unfair
So some survive
And others die
And you always want a reason why
But the world is neither just nor unjust
It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it
No, the world is neither just nor unjust
And though going young
So much undone
Is a tragedy for everyone
It doesn't mean there has to be a way of things
No special sense that hidden hands are pulling strings
But living on in others, in memories and dreams
Is not enough
And it never is
You always want so much more than this...
An endless sense of soul and an eternity of love
A sweet mother down below and a just father above
For living on in others, in memories and dreams
Is not enough
You want everything
Another world
Where the birds always sing
Another world
Where the sun always shines
Another world
Where nothing ever dies...

At Tahrir The History Always Say His Word

No one read the history well
The ancient history or the modern well
Both has the same warning bell
Once someone sit on the authority chair
He never thinks it can take him to the prison or hell
The warning bell rang so loudly at Tahrir square till
Till the history said his word without any more word to be tell
The same always done but the chair makes everyone deaf
The same is going on to day
The same, all are going in the same way
Marshall took off his official suit right away
To be ready to sit on the chair
Exactly as the last one done after 6 October
The chair always has his magic way
To make every one deaf, blind and can't see the right way
But the Egyptian knew their way
Tahrir is waiting from them tomorrow and every day.

My dear friends i must mention something:
My friend Saadat Tahir invited me to read has last poetry 'Marshal’s Epaulettes At Tahrir Fell '.Once i finished read his expressive words my comment was with one shot those words i wrote up here.
By the way it's the first time i write about Tahrir revolution. Also my friend Tahir is from Pakistan, but the world becamea very small village all our agony is the same any where.
All my thankful and grateful to my friend Tahir.

Marshal’s Epaulettes At Tahrir Fell

Marshal’s epaulettes now traded for suits.
And Itallian shoes for mil-issue boots.
Eyeing with disdain our forgotten roots.

On Cairo’s streets a chance to walk.
With sad Egyptians a smiley talk.
Sad in the heart but steady as a rock.

Never bargained just faces to change.
Far more varied our demands range.
We wish to reverse the faith exchange.

Care not for sons, at Tahrir that fell,
for the hungry millions of Nile’s dell.
And refuse to learn what histories tell.
