God's obssession with Geometry

you may not be all knowing
but it does not mean you
would not know the all knowing

for instance the fact that he is
obssessed with geometry

the lines you see everywhere
in the the butterflies, the birds,
the insects, animals

what do they have in common?
such an overpowering exquisite
range of shapes and patterns

the obssession develops into
creating things to carry and
dance with those mindboggling,
at times, eerie, alluring and simply
ingenious and haunting designs

his favourite should be the shape of a ball
all things important are crowned with a roundness
that conveys his fondness for them

it starts from your two eyeballs, then the earth
then the sun, the whole planetary system
even the way they move, circular lines

the rest of his geometric insanity,
you have to run for them in the butterflies,
the birds, the molluscs, the shells,
each earth particle, the crystals

and did i say our very own face.
every line on the face makes us another person

you need not be all knowing
but that does not mean you
would not know the all knowing
his preference, his dos and donts
the way he talks in symbols using
things around us, and the cycle of things

They say who play at blindman's buff,
verse trophies strive to gain,
that lines time challenge long enough
won’t find their waiting vain.
Any two lines laid parallel
which one day seem point miss
may meet with recognition well
above contemporary hiss.

Anticipation staves off curse.
Although today most spurn
my verse they surely shall rehearse
each strophe and return
thereto when Shakespeare's long forgot,
his sonnets Styx shall swallow,
while critics, p[r]etty prickly lot,
read s[l]ick screeds boomerang hollow.

That a straight line drawn long enough

Mathematical Reasons

We have algebra and geometry,
And all the waters of education.
Long summers possess long issues,
The doors and windows open for the long-life.
Forming a reason for living is inside nature,
Natural reasons turn into recognised truths;
Returning the gestures of the night.
How do players of the night relax?
With algebra is a letter for the night,

Maths

Algebra and Geometry are the two branches of maths
Which makes us think and we are in a fuss!
It is the best subject of education
For achieving good marks we need
dedication, determination and devotion
Algebra is well known for its equation,
Geometry for its proofs and theorems.
If we practise these subjects regularly
And master these coming out with flying colours
We will be someone like Aryabhatta or Pythagoras.

Chance and Geometry

There is a sense that all
the magic has fled us.
Weber says that intellectualisation and
rationality mean
that there are no mysterious,
incalculable forces
that come into play,
but rather that one can- in principle-
‘master all things by calculation.’

How could we think that we prefer
our own puny calculations
(So devoid of real data,
So luminously ignorant)
to that lash of random, beautiful Chance,
the sting of incalculable, mysterious forces
that care so little about our outcomes
except to spice up the narrative?

I ‘m sure i want more meaning than
an equation of
pros and cons, good and evil
the right man at the wrong time
the wrong man at the right time,
but
all my silly femininities and lost causes
blast away at the foundations
of my careful construction.

Yes, I thought I’d
mastered all things by calculation,
added and subtracted
my failures and successes,
weighed up the possible outcomes,
come up with a sum
I could live with...
Tidy sums.
