It is rarely that you see an American writer who is not hopelessly sane.

I Wonder About The Cicada That You See

i know that this morning
you walk on the park
on a sunny day and it
is, of course, hot

and then you see this cicada
and i wonder if it is
singing
or grumbling
on this very hot sunny day by the park

i wonder if the cicada stares
at you
i wonder if you talk to the cicada
i wonder if
something happens that you
cannot just forget
about the cicada

i wonder if everything is unfinished
images half-printed
i wonder if at all, to whatever we see and feel and
talk about i wonder if
there must be conclusions
i wonder if
we must limit only to our own observations
leave it that way
like a bat hanging on the wall
and then

just that, whether if flies away or drops dead
you say

i do not honestly know and
i have really nothing to say

i like it with you,

something unfinished, and perhaps that is the beauty in you
this suspended suspense
suspenseful till nowhere

Can you see the woman in me?

I am a woman
Generations of life are born out of this mother
I am a woman
So often my wise opinions and words are smothered

And with open honesty
I speak with modesty
Your sweet kisses flatter
You are to me all that matters

But sometimes when you look at me
I wonder what it is in me that you see
I suppose you can tell
That I got brain cells

But I ask,
Can you see the woman in me?
Is it a task for I wear no masks?
You try to keep me penciled in a flask
Can you see the woman in me?

I am a woman with pride
My strength is a strong tide
My road is forever rough to ride
But when it is time to take sides
Behind dark walls, you run and hide

I am a woman with love
With pretty assets that curve
And when you give me the shove
I feel a thousand boxing gloves
Have hit me deliberately from above

I question,
Can you see the woman in me?
Come Sex! , my name is always mentioned
Some Vex! , when I try to be me and free

The summer breeze
Rises on the shore
Of Olingan
And those white
And red china roses
That you see
Are they really flowers
Or not?
Or only your
Usual dreams
That fade out
On the beach
When you wake
Up?

Glad that you see

much more can the eyes can speak, yet the lips
just murmur and poke a little thou eyebrows tells
of what is today and tomorrow will be glad to say

first comes from the end of every beginning, mastering
of what is new to see, nay a sharp harpoon catches a
fish without a throw or sling find a stone with only
air to bring

the echo finds meaning when the ear feel, the distance
that finds a friend and shows me the smile, for laughter
begins in a simple accolade, whom everything goes to
a matter of seeing you again

Do you see my face that smiles for we...

Come more close my dear
do you hear my voice
that cries like a broken tree?
Do you see my face that smiles for we...
I want to built an Eiffel poem
in your heart
you don't have to wait,
nor to call a draft
...... to glaze your eyes or
to fly over the sky
everything you need
i will pass throw the empty greed
don't be shy, shy...
You make me hero?
I need not.
It is just an Eiffel poem
believe me my dear
I am rich in my heart
You do not need to thank me
‘cause we both are
The children of the god....

The problem with breaking up a china girl is the fact that you see her everywhere you go

I have this pain
that has no single name
It's existitng and it's remnessing
I just miss, The sudden bliss I got when we screamed
The touch, I must, Feel ever again
Walking under rain that stains
Walking in a full home that's all alone
I am under a bridge with all walls
On top of a church
with a candle and a book
My feet begun to burn and my palms bleed
As I watch the hearse
Slam it's break before hitting the crook
that stole my ever loveing seed
Fires across a wet land
Dire, Expired voice of a dead man
It's frozen in a burning room
It's the end of the world
A girl's own baby girl named doom
with a upside star under her wrist
She's a soccer star, Look at her kick
She just might be able to kick the habit
Reach for a hand and not one of a addict
Your're in the wrong car, Life's a expensive toy and you just might break it
Failing to see a man above your bed
I just can't imagine another girl over me
Sometime I wish I could break open my head
and set all this hostilty free

That Tsusami There You See

What in the world is that approaching?

'That is a 'tsusami'.
A destructive and deadly wave.'

Why are you walking slowly,
And looking up at the sky?

'Feeling blessed and doing my daily exercise.
Enjoying nature and those beautiful sights I see,
Before my eyes.'

Aren't you afraid this 'wave' will destroy all you've got?

'I've witnessed that wave approaching from the horizon.
And I've shared that warning made to some.
Others stood and looked with me.
But their sights were distracted.
They preferred to have fun.

You know the ones who hear something said?
The ones who have other priorities...
Dancing around in their deluded heads.
The ones who claim they are aware...
But hey,
Who cares?

Economically,
I've been busted for years.
And have lived a basic life.
One that has provided me a peace of mind I like!

That tsusami there you see...
Will have little to none,
Effect on me.
But the others you see staring?
They're so stunned.
They can not run!

And besides...
Where will they go?
Into mortgaged homes on loan?
To grab something believed they still own?
As creditors await.
Like vultures surrounding prey,
For something of value to confiscate.

I am comfortable just where I am! '

Well...
I gotta go.
That 'thing' to me is getting too close!

I See That 'You' You Are

You may not need me,
Now.
Like you will.
Or,
Can say what you feel,
Now.
But somehow...
I know.

And that which I know...
No longer do I question,
Reasons why or how I do!

I know...
Your life lived is not a gift picked,
From a grab bag.
To exchange for something wished,
That is better than what you have.
And comparing your life...
Brings to you an unwanted sadness.
I know this.

I know...
You have been selected for a test.
And to pass it wont be easy.

I know...
Not too many can accept,
This gift that they get.
And they choose to disrespect it.
To leave it neglected.
Desperate is the grieving...
That becomes reflected.

And I know...
Those tempestuous storms,
One expects when clouds appear.
Come along to cleanse you,
From ills and evil.
Dispensed around you to endear!

When they come...
Do not hold them near.
Wish them away to disappear.

But you must cling onto faith without fail.
You can,
You must and will prevail!
To triumph and conquer,
Over your disturbing mental turbulence.

You may not need me,
Now.
Like you will.
Or,
Can say what you feel,
Now.
But somehow...
I know.

I know!
Because I see that 'you' you are...
In me!
And I am not about to go,
To leave you alone to suffer.
That...
I am not going to allow!
Like I did...
Before I saw the me in you.

I Am Glad That You Are Into Haiku

i must imagine
you sitting on a chair
facing the void
at the window

and then you see
what reality has long
concealed from you

was it a butterfly
that you have mistaken as
another leaf?

Mitsuo, What Do You See?

When your spirit goes
to the glowing
edge

do you feel terror
as you hunger for
air?

What do you see
in that bright, distant
light?

Do you gaze through dark pain
into heaven’s living
flame?

What You See

What you see
isn't me.
For you can't see inside.
Inside lies
my inner cries
that I don't ever
allow outside.
Why should others
feel my pain?
Let the shadows
just remain.
Put on my happy face.
Let it erase
even for a while.
See my face.
See my smile.
That's the side
you will see.
But, deep inside
it's not me.

Can't You See Do You Even Care

Can't you see that this is killing me.
Do you even care.
I don't know what to think any more.
All I know is that this killing me.
My pain no one knows but me.
It's killin me little by little.
More and more.
Day by day.
Its taking me.
Theres nothing left
One day it'll be too late.
You'll wake up in the morning and I'll be gone.

Now you see

Now you see why my attitude is mild,
Now you see why the crows run wild,
Now you and I see why the stars not tinkling high in the sky,
Now I see why everyone think of me as a child that has been hurt so many times.
I`m a child with so many talents but no encouragement at all,
a child that smiles to hide my tears.
But i`m always gone know that i`m a child of god.

Tell me what you see

Tell me your thoughts
When you have no thoughts

Tell me what you see
When your eyes are closed

Tell me if you could read my mind
My thoughts would tell you a tale

Between the lines
Tell me story that is told

Experence the paradise
That is in you

Let me hear your voice
To comfort my ears

Rest deep inside my soul
Heal my wounds while I sleep

Holding me down
My fortress strong

That You Can Not Do

The only way you can walk in my shoes,
Is when I am finished wearing them.
And to you they are donated.
To then retrace the steps where I have been.

And even then the wearing of them would not fit.
Since what they have been through,
You wouldn't be able to tolerate it.
How do I know this?

You see them as just shoes.
But I used them as tools.
And sometimes as weapons.
And that you can not do.

Can you see the blue eye

That wipes away the doubts
Turns down all the walls
Builds forgotten lands

Can you see the sky
Wearing the clouds
Fluffy cotton balls
So soft to the hand

I want to look at that eye
At the stars hidden by the daylight
To see the gown that the sky
Likes to wear at night

Angels unseen above
The way they spread their wings
Forever in love
With beauty that up there sings

Can you see the pride of a nation?

Can you see the pride of a nation
when it’s young men,
march of to war
and some to return no more?

Can you see the pride of a nation
when the battles and the war is won,
but destiny and betrayal
still makes a deadly mark?

Can you see the pride of a nation
where even the integrity
of its leaders lack?

Can you see the pride of a nation
that turns its back on its own
and disregard their abilities?

You see not fear.

In these eyes,
you see not fear,
no distortion of the mind,
no not here.

As i stand,
you see not fear,
in the depths of murder,
in the darkness so near.

Within this place,
you see not fear,
for there is something much worse here,
a lack of fear,
low and behold,
the death from these eyes,
now staring back at themselves,
once again,
They've destroyed,
in the night,
this feeling that propels.
