Magnificently enchanting night

The calm which the stringent day miserably dithered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the chilly breeze of the dark night,

The tumultuous passion which the austerely acerbic day failed to provide; was profoundly imparted by the agony of the resplendent night,

The ocean of dreams which the acrimonious day floundered every second to provide; was profoundly imparted by the mesmerizing fantasy of the velvety night,

The cloud of tingling sensations which the sultry day stumbled to provide; was profoundly imparted by the tantalizing charisma of the moonlit night,

The poignant aroma of romance which the brilliantly sweltering day tripped to provide; was profoundly imparted by the overwhelmingly silvery night,

The delectably sweet flavor which the harshly perspiring day dawdled to provide; was profoundly imparted by the surreal and stormy night,

The stupendous congeniality which the monstrously illuminated day succumbed to provide; was profoundly imparted by the superlatively friendly and voluptuous night,

The tunnel of unrelenting adventure which the monotonous day ludicrously refrained to provide; was profoundly imparted by the spell binding and exotically perfumed night,

The astoundingly fragrant aura which the nondescript day faltered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the piquantly pepped up night,

The enigmatic tales of fascinating mystery which the day abysmally shirked to provide; was profoundly imparted by the enticing and profusely titillating night,
The vivacious rainbow of colors which the incorrigibly boring day fluttered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the gorgeously whispering night,

The flamboyant rays of fire which the cloudy day horrendously nictitated to provide; was profoundly imparted by the vividly vibrant night,

The dreary trail of incredulous sedation that the day obnoxiously dwindled to provide; was profoundly imparted by the incomprehensibly seductive night,

The magical wave of longing that the stoical day irrevocably refused to provide; was profoundly imparted by the mystically simmering night,

The cold beads of unprecedented exhilaration that the abysmally hot day pathetically slithered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the majestic and princely night,

The ardently milky aroma which the intractably bright day disastrously shivered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the ravishingly dainty night,

The unparalleled tremors of ecstasy which the brutal beams of day insurmountably struggled to provide; was profoundly imparted by the stringently spicy winds of night,

The opulent showers of nostalgia which the murderously blazing day wavered to provide; was profoundly imparted by the opalescent shades of the night,

And the celestial stupor which the savagely bubbling day thoroughly failed to provide; was profoundly imparted by the magnificently enchanting night…

Avoid The Light - I

Avoid the light - i
(spoken)
(...)
Modern day plague. stronger than any and every virus, disease, or
Sickness.
Full eclipse, (of body emity.)
Anti-christian, and eternally alive.
Buried underneath.
2000 years of histories.
Yet able to rise.
Instinctively arise.
Avoid the light.
The sounds and sight.
The undead should be sleeping.
Avoid the light.
That cross so bright.
My (fledglings) dropping, weeping.
Avoid the light.
Overt your sight.
Go underground just leave me.
Avoid the light.
Avoid the light.
Avoid the light.
Avoid the light.
(spoken)
True and purely a horror. mans ultimate enemy and predator wrapped
Into one.
Spread like wings, of damnated.
Then folding into, shaping mortal man.
Not safe.
Plasmic cover, will override.
True emotions.
(the peeling version), to guard my countless (grains).
Avoid the light.
The sounds and sight.
The undead should be sleeping.
Avoid the light.
That cross so bright.
My (fledglings) dropping, weeping.
Avoid the light.
Overt your sight.
Go underground just leave me.
Alone, unseen, reborn, (receive).
Its a battle of wills.
In glorious, (we can).
Avoid the light.
The sounds and sight.
The undead should be sleeping.
Avoid the light.
That cross so bright.

Avoid The Light - Ii

(spoken, impossible to hear)
Modern day plague
Stronger than any and every virus, disease or sickness
Full eclipse of body emity
Anti-christian, and nocturnally alive (undead)
Buried underneath 2000 years (of histories)
Yet able to rise
Instinctively arise
Avoid the light
The suns in sight
The undead should be sleeping
Avoid the light
That cross so bright
My fledglings dropping, weeping
Avoid the light
Overt your sight
Go underground discreetly
Avoid the light, avoid the light, avoid the light, avoid the light
True and purely hollow
Mans ultimate enemy and predator
Wrapped into one
Spread like wings
Of damnated
Then falling into
Shaping mortal man (nonslaved)
Plasma cover
Will override (your true emotions)
The pure inversion
To guard my countless graves
Avoid the light
The suns in sight
The undead should be sleeping
Avoid the light
That cross of light
My fledglings dropping, weeping
Avoid the light
Overt your sight
Go underground discreetly
Alone, unseen, reborn, receieve
Its a battle of wills (its a battle of wills)
In glory hell sneak in (he shall devour)
(solo)
Avoid the light
The suns in sight
The undead should be sleeping
Avoid the light
That cross of light
My fledglings dropping, weeping
Avoid the light
Overt your sight

The Original Wrapper

I was sittin home on the west end
Watchin cable tv with a female friend
We were watchin the news, the worlds in a mess
The poor and the hungry, a world in distress
Herpes, aids, the middle east at full throttle
Better check that sausage, before you put it in the waffle
And while youre at it, check whats in the batter
Make sure that candys in the original wrapper
Hey, pitcher, better check that batter
Make sure that candys in the original wrapper
Reagan says abortions murder
While hes looking at cardinal oconnor
Look at jerry falwell louis farrakhan
Both talk religion and the brotherhood of man
They both sound like they belong in teheran
Watch out, theyre goin full throttle
Better check that sausage, before you stick it in the waffle
And while youre at it better check, whats in the batter
Make sure that candys in the original wrapper
Hey, pitcher, better check that batter
Make sure that candys in the original wrapper
White against white, black against jew
It seems like its 1942
The baby sits in front of mtv
Watching violent fantasies
While dad guzzles beer with his favorite sport
Only to find his heroes are all coked up
Classic, original, the same old story
The politics of hate in a new surrounding
Hate if its good and hate if its bad
And if this all dont make you mad
Ill keep yours and Ill keep mine
Nothing sacred and nothing divine
Father, bless me, were at full throttle
Better check that sausage, before you put it in the waffle
And while youre at it better check that batter
Make sure the candys in the original wrapper
Hey, pitcher, better check that batter
Make sure that candys in the original wrapper, hey, hey
I was born in the united states
And I grew up hard but I grew up straight
I saw a lack of morals and a lack of concern
A feeling that theres nowhere to turn
Yippies, hippies and upwardly mobile yuppies
Dont treat me like Im some dumb lackey
cause the murderer lives while the victims die
Id much rather see it an eye for an eye
A heart for a heart, a brain for a brain
And if this all makes you feel a little insane
Kick up your heels, turn the music up loud

Original Sin

Ive been looking for an original sin.
One with a twist and a bit of a spin.
Ive done all of the old ones.
Till theyve all been done in.
Now Im just looking -
Then Im gone with the wind -
Endlessly searching for an original sin.
You can dance forever.
You got a fire in your feet.
But will it ever be enough?
You know itll never be enough.
You can fly and never land.
And never need to sleep.
But will it ever be enough?
You know itll never be enough.
Not enough to make the nightmares go away.
Not enough to make the tears run dry.
Not enough to live a littel better everyday.
Everything that they taught us.
Was nothing but lies.
Everthing thing they brought us.
Was nothing but bribes.
But itll all be over now -
All I wanted was a piece of the night.
I never got an equal share.
When the stars are out of sight.
And the moon is down -
The natives are so restless tonight.
Ive been looking for an original sin.
One with a twist and a bit of a spin.
Ive done all of the old ones.
Till theyve all been done in.
Now Im just looking -
Then Im gone with the wind -
Endlessly searching for an original sin.
You can lose yourself in pleasure.
Till your bodys going numb.
But will it ever be enough?
You know itll never be enough.
You can always take whatever.
You conceivably could want.
But will it ever be enough?
You know itll never be enough.
Not enough to make the nightmares go away.
Not enough to make the tears run dry.
Not enough to live a littel better everyday.
Everything that they taught us.

The Original You

So damn... do you know that
I can do the things you say
Whatever it might be, again
I show you what you wanna see
So come on now, I am the wrecking ball
and you control the swing
We're gonna go far, far tonight
my queen cause I am the king
So boom boom can't you see
that this is how I wanna be
I'm coming up hard, mean and lean
I am the fighting machine
You're gonna go down if you
push me far enough, you will see
I'm coming down hard, hard on you
if you go up against me
You better believe I was born on top
because I'm better than the rest of you
And you'll never see me coming 'til
it's too late
I'm gonna go wild like the berserk
I always wanted to be
The original rude boy
Why is it that you always have to be
Someone else than before,
why can't you see
I just wanna hold on to what I had
The original you
Why is it that you always try to be
Someone I can no longer stand to see
I just wanna hold on to what I had
The original you
So damn... do you know that
I can do the things you say
Whatever it might be, again
I show you what you wanna see
So come on now, I am the wrecking ball
and you control the swing
We're gonna go far, far tonight

No Poem Is An Original

No poem is an original
everyone who writes
poetry thinks their poem
was an original, it just so
happens that their poem just
surfaced to the top
of their mind first, so they
were able to write it.

Everyone has love, hate
compassion buried deep
in their soul.

Poets are able to bring
all of this to the surface,
to construct, add the words,
but it is not an original
idea, for the poet because
they wrote it now, it
becomes an original for them.

Who has not heard a song,
read a poem, story or book,
seen a movie and said,
to themselves, hey I had
that same idea.

Only thing is, someone else
brought it to the surface
of the mind, and wrote it first.
Even this poem I'm writing
now is not an original
someone out there
has this idea buried
deep in their soul.

So if you have an idea
for a poem, get busy
write it, don't wait,
or you won't write an original
start today,
don't delay.

ACT II - The same Scene, with the Ruins Restored

SCENE-the same scene as in Act I with the exception that in place
of the ruins that filled the foreground of the stage, the
interior of a magnificent temple is seen showing the background
of the scene of Act I, through the columns of the portico at the
back. High throne. L.U.E. Low seats below it. All the substitute
gods and goddesses [that is to say, Thespians] are discovered
grouped in picturesque attitudes about the stage, eating and
drinking, and smoking and singing the following verses.

CHO. Of all symposia
The best by half
Upon Olympus, here await us.
We eat ambrosia.
And nectar quaff,
It cheers but don't inebriate us.
We know the fallacies,
Of human food
So please to pass Olympian rosy,
We built up palaces,
Where ruins stood,
And find them much more snug and cosy.

SILL. To work and think, my dear,
Up here would be,

John Stuart Mill

Eccentricity has always abounded when and where strength of character had abounded; and the amount of eccentricity in a society has generally been proportional to the amount of genius, mental vigor, and courage which it contained.

I am my own man for Jt Ellison

They say I’m mad but I don’t care
It’s merely eccentricity
If I was poor I would be mad
but I am not which makes me glad

I have my own psychiatrist
He thinks he knows much more than me.
He has delusions which persist
Which I encourage quietly.

So he advances theories
meant to explain what makes me tick.
Tries to diagnose some disease.
He cannot see I am not sick.

I did not choose to be a clone
accept opinions tailor made
He is a fool he should have known
That I would see through his charade.

I am not mad just different.
Simply because I choose to be
I go my own way quite content
Proud of my eccentricity.

My father's Plato

And that’s not a claim to paternity –
it’s the possessive case; though to what degree
my father possessed Plato, or Plato, him,
remains one of those unsolved mysteries
stored in that little room of sadness in the hearts
of children of that more formal, distanced age…

Like so many self-made men, he’d never read
a novel before he retired; and then
set out to educate himself
as would befit the father of a son
he planned – God unwilling, at first – to have,
whom he would provide with all the advantages
he’d never had… alas; alas for both of us…

He’d read of course, Smiles’ ‘Self-Help’ – they all had;
moved on to Carlyle, Ruskin (briefly) , Emerson; wrote
in warm approval to George Bernard Shaw,
who responded with one of his printed pre-texted postcards…
then worked through those nicely-bound
sets of Hardy, Galsworthy, Dickens, Scott, and H.G.Wells,
offered cheaply by the Daily Mail or by Wills’ Cigarettes…

then – Plato; or at least, his Republic;
a yellow bound, standard Everyman; but this one
- I discovered far too late in life -
fiercely underlined in summary pencil lines…

and that was really, all he needed; busy
with his hens and chicks, his toddler son (at last…) :
later, novels of another sort crept up on him; he lived
a – no, don’t call it fantasy – a parallel life
in volume after volume of those yellow-covered
Wild West Club. (That’s where he would have flourished,
aggressive boss of bosses, if he had not been stone-deaf…)

So what was he to Plato, or Plato said to him?
Are the underlinings an extension of that angry, abrupt man
meaning, that’s my experience; so he’s right…;
or was there stunned admiration; or
was there a humility I never saw
until efficiency turned to eccentricity,
eccentricity to dementia…
a humility, perhaps, that took him to another world
of ancient Greece, and glories, virtues, and ideals,
where Spartans from the wild wild East
rode roughshod over democracy, and
where a good man must be sought,
to run them out of town…?

To tell something original.

She says, you are not original in what you are telling me

Any janitor in your office can always say that seeing that

It is different. I am original in this. I am feeling something.
I am original in this feeling and you do not feel it that way I see these things.

I am leaving you. It is the first time I am feeling this. It is this first time
That I am telling you. I am original. I have long searched what words to use

To tell something original.

New American Classic

You've got to get better.
Say it's all in your head.
We could live through these letters
Or forget it all together.
See the months they don't matter.
It's the days I can't take
When the hours move to minutes and I'm seconds away.
Just ask the question.
Come untie the knot.
Say you won't care,
say you won't care.
Retrace the steps
As if we forgot.
Say you won't care,
Say you won't care.
We try to avoid it,
But there's not a doubt,
And there's one thing I can do nothing about.
Well all that we need is just a reaction,
It's too much to ask for when there's no attraction anymore
If chasing our dreams is just a distraction,
I want to remember when I know that I can't go back.
Just ask the question.
Come untie the knot.
Say you won't care,
say you won't care.
Retrace the steps
As if we forgot.
Say you won't care,
Say you won't care.
We try to avoid it (Try to avoid it),
But there's not a doubt,
And there's one thing I can do nothing,
There's one thing I can do nothing,
There's one thing I can do nothing about.
(Finally)
Just ask the question (Just ask the question).
Come untie the knot.
Say you won't care,
Say you won't care.
And retrace the steps (Retrace the steps)
as if we forgot.
Say you won't care.
Say you won't care.
We try to avoid it (Try to avoid it),
But there's not a doubt
And there's one thing I can do nothing,
There's one thing I can do nothing,
There's one thing I can do nothing about.

Sympathy is worse than death….

Sympathy makes an organism feel dreadfully weak—as if the world around it had metamorphosed into a coffin of morose blackness; though an infinite streams of scarlet blood still ran enthusiastically through each of its blessed veins,

Sympathy makes an organism feel lividly inferior—with every living being in vicinity appearing to be a boundless times stronger; though they both were royally equal by the grace of the unparalleled Omnipotent Lord,

Sympathy makes an organism inadvertently lick decrepit dust—whereas it should’ve been unflinching marching forward in the fervor of bustling youth; head held high with its compatriot organism and only bowing down before the Lord Almighty,

Sympathy makes an organism a veritably devilish parasite-forever leaning and sucking upon its good-willed befriender; though volcano’s of latent energy itched to fulminate from each of its robustly handsome veins,

Sympathy makes an organism wholesomely lose its own voice—as it started to profusely relish the extravagant attention and care; preferred to fantasize about the things that it’d like to do in life; rather than honestly sweat it out and reach there,

Sympathy makes an organism overwhelmingly finicky and fastidious about the tiniest of things—again and again finding faults with the most majestically perfect of creation; as there was always a person to wholesomely commiserate with its every eccentricity and peevish demand,

Sympathy makes an organism haplessly infertile-pathetically unable to indulge into even the most sensuously bountiful pleasures of life; as inevitable habit compelled it to let others complete its job of proliferating its very own kin,

Sympathy makes an organism miserably fail again and again-as the inexplicably stabbing blackness that it’d enshrouded itself with; incorrigibly denied any beam of optimistic sunlight to triumphantly creep in,

Sympathy makes an organism look frenetically naked even when fully clothed-as it indefatigably kept begging for being fed even that morsel of food; which lay copiously sprawled right into the center of its palms,

Sympathy makes an organism an irrefutable devil on the prowl-inexhaustibly searching for that shoulder to baselessly weep; and then disgustingly sleep-float in an unfathomable ocean of tears,

Sympathy makes an organism a dreadfully unbearable burden upon the planet-as it neither wholesomely died nor lived; just kept flagrantly loitering in-between the dormitories of certainty and uncertainty,

Sympathy makes an organism hopelessly deteriorate into nothingness with every unleashing minute—as his unstoppably taking the support of others; made his very own spine rust and eventually crumble to inconspicuous dust,

Sympathy makes an organism an irrevocably maimed beggar—as he shamefully lost all his ability to sight; hear and fearlessly speak; wantonly clinging like a deplorable leech to the panic button of every second person on the street,

Sympathy makes an organism a coffin of cursed negativity-spreading the wretched stench of satanic dependency upon every step that he dared tread; and thereby maligning the true spirit of symbiotically independent life,

Sympathy makes an organism lose all priceless self respect-an attribute which was profoundly embedded in each of its veins just like an infinite other of its counterpart; right since its very first divinely breath,

Sympathy makes an organism look like an invisible ghost infront of the mirror-such an abominable jinx that was impossible to break; once it surreptitiously passed itself on upon another equally insipid organism,

Sympathy makes an organism come to such an exasperating stage—that it started to unceasingly ridicule its very ownself; as there virtually none else in this world who was as inconsolably sick and helpless as its rapidly flailing form,

Sympathy makes an organism come to an earth-screeching lifeless halt—as after a period of time every door on the Universe brutally shut up on its deliberately tear stained face; and that’s when the true reality and hardship of life hit it right in the center of its eye,

And sympathy makes an organism entirely dead even in the heart of exuberantly infallible life-a lifelessly fetid carcass which was spat upon and shunted by every section of the society; even before it could try lifting its very first footstep on soil by itself…

Original Sin

Jim steinman
Ive been looking for an original sin
One with a twist and a bit of a spin
And since Ive done all the old ones
Till theyve all be done in
Now Im just looking
And Im gone with the wind
Endlessly searching
For and original sin...
You can dance forever
You gotta fire in you feet
But will it ever be enough
Ya, know itll never be enough
You can fly and never land
And never need to see
But will it ever be enough
You know itll never be enough
Its no enough to make the nightmares go away
Its not enough to make the tears run dry
And who knows what evil
Lurks in the hearts of men today
Its a city of shadows
Its a city of light
Its a city of secrets
Its a city of pride
Itll all be over now
All I wanted was a piece of the night
I never gota equal share
When the stars are all outside
And the moon is down
The natives are so restless tonight...
Ive been looking for the ultimate crime
Infinite victims, in a testable time
And Im so, so very guilty
For no reason, no rhyme
So now Im just looking, and Im killing some time
Endlessly searching
For the ultimate crime...
You can loose yourself in pleasures
Till your bodies goin numb
But will it ever be enough
You know itll never be enough
You can always take whatever
You can see them if you want
But itll never be enough...
Its not enough to make the nightmares go away

And who knows what evil lurks in the hearts
Of men today
Its a city of shadows

Call Me Number One

I used to love you
I fought for your selection
To be a target
For your weapon of affection
I was a dog for you
You put your marker on me
But my soul was not for sale
And you tried to take it from me
But - hey now now
Hey now now
I know what youre doin
You pushed me too far
And if you want me back!
Want me back
You better -
Call me number one
Head man here
The original son
Baby
Hey, hey hey
Call me number one
Head man here
The original son
Baby
Hey, hey, baby!
You were the fire
I was just the piston
You were the planet
At the centre of my system
Your love is terminal
And I let you give it to me
Your loves a juggernaut
And you tried to drive it through me
Call me number one
Head man here
The original son
Baby
Hey, hey hey
Call me number one
