We Can Create A Modern International Community

And I wonder when Congress will allow public nationwide schools...
in the United States to set aside time for children again to pray?
To pray for, or quietly reflect on behalf of, their once great Nation!

To pray for their nation during this proclaimed danger time...
of struggle against the forces of evil dark international terrorism!
But in the White House lurks a dark soul of 100% fetus murder!

Uncomfortable 'Is' The Silence

As I sit pondering,
With your eyes fixed...
And gazing strangely,
At my giblets.
I wonder...
To myself,
Of course.

Is this the season,
I should use?
Will the appetite ignite excitement?

Is that why your eyes remain fixed,

Crocked,

What do you mean; balanced budget; our politicians never heard,
They're busy travelling the world and never got the word,
Okay, we just heard that lower commodity prices are a bad sign,
Will they or will they not, have to examine our credit line?




Should massive government spending be under control?
Should we have forbidden referendums or maybe have a poll?
Have Conservative principles been thrown out the door?
And how do promises of a future balanced budget score?




Is this the same crowd that refused death-with-dignity to us all?
Do they expect us to get down on our knees or maybe crawl?
Why is the federal budget ballooning to $26 billion this year?
Should we forget about this because the government is sincere?

Your aim to gain a pain to sustain...
Just to maintain an agony to go through,

I prefer the smaller budget versus the bigger budget because the mentality that goes along with big budget filmmaking doesn't really suit me; the mind-set that money is the answer.

Just trying to get a film made which is always difficult no matter what kind of a budget you have. Not having a budget makes it even more difficult. Having nineteen days and no budget makes it extremely difficult.

The Boy and the Teacher

Teacher, teacher, 'why is my gram parent going to have to go to a nursing home? '

'Well', says the teacher in disgust. 'The republicans(Defenders of the rich) won't allow the raise of the government budget ceiling(The Amount Of Money That The Government Can Borrow.) they don't want to raise taxes on the job creators(Corporations..). But they want taxes on the workers and cuts in government funded programs to equal the new budget. The Democrats(The Ones Who Believe Our Country Should Be A Nanny State) . Don't want to make the cuts in certain government programs or raise taxes on the poor and want to raise the budget ceiling without paying for it.'

The little boy says 'That don't sound that complicated. Why don't we just tax everyone across the board, according the money they make and have. And Why don't we make cuts in programs that are not necessary. Oh and while were at it why don't we bring back our military slowly. So were not spending 60 billion dollars month in other countries. Why do we have to police other countries? Or even a better question how can we afford too when our debt is so high? '

The teacher responds back, why don't you write your congressmen, senators, and president letters and ask them.

The little boys says, 'Easy they would never read them.'

He Thought He Saw

He thought he saw new Internet
exchanging peer to peer,
he looked again and found it was
a mirage for each year
sees more control, “what rôle, ” he said,
“for values once held dear?
Some track to trace attack and get
convictions based on fear.'

He dreamt he saw spam disappear,
all consultations free,
he looked again and found it was
a spybot lottery.
“Is net neutrality”, he said,
“from rash risks viral clear? ”

He dreamt that Microsoft would steer

then woke to find world insincere
where independence past
was sacrificed throughout the year
to biometrics ghast.

Australian Federal Election 2001

All I see are two ageing power hungry men squabbling for the lion's share
And who will win Howard or Beazley? don't ask me I don't care
The Labor party and the Coalition seem very much the same to me
As neither of them have once promised for to combat poverty.

For the growing scourge of poverty they don't offer any cure
But then suppose not many votes in the favouring of the poor
And not many of the Homeless vote when it comes to polling day
But who could blame them for their apathy when they must live in such a way.

When I hear talk of budget surpluses by the major party politicians I feel cause for concern
For who will keep the budget in the black ought not be hard to discern
It's the working poor and the very poor who always suffer the most
And because of neglect for them the Government of their budget surplus boast.

Who will win the Federal Election that won't be worrying me
For whoever forms Government won't be combating poverty
They squabble for the lion's share and seek their own renown
And they only Govern for those at the top end of the Town.

Extraordinary Machine

I certainly haven't been shopping for any new shoes
And I certainly haven't been spreading myself around
I still only travel by foot and by foot it's a slow climb
But I'm good at being uncomfortable so I can't stop changing all the time
I noticed that my opponent is always on the go
And won't go slow so as not to focus and I notice
He'll hitch a ride with any guide as long as they go fast from whence he came
But he's no good at being uncomfortable so he can't stop staying exactly the same
If there was a better way to go then it would find me
