Should have not

As a male I should have not cried
All tears put out and eyes got dried
Something really worried from inside
I wanted some one close to confide

It is human mind that weeps
All sentimental tears do not keep
Within or forcefully contained
It is helplessness that has been maintained

Draughts and river floods cause anxiety
Earth quakes and bomb blasts make to feel sorry
Crush of freedom and liberty causes the anguish
Little tease troubles heart to pump the blood and finish

Medical aid is rushed to the troubled spot
People donate generously in quantity and lot
That shows how much we care for our brethren elsewhere
Show the solidarity and voice concern everywhere

To loose human life is serious loss
As it has not occurred due to natural cause
We are concerned with unnatural deaths
Where for little negligence we have to lay a wreath

Human heart stays with full of compassion
Shows love and attachment with obsession
We may be living far off from each other
Yet we wish them good luck and bother

Not all the people may be leading descent way
There may be so much pain to bear with in the way
A life is worst than animal yet we call it human
It can be understood as living hell by even layman

Let us form human chain all over the world
Where such events are noted and all over told
It is our main concern to rush for the rescue
Life has been termed as precious so deserves to be viewed

Emily Dickinson

They Have Not Chosen Me,' He Said

'They have not chosen me,' he said,
'But I have chosen them!'
Brave—Broken hearted statement—
Uttered in Bethlehem!

I could not have told it,
But since Jesus dared—
Sovereign! Know a Daisy
They dishonor shared!

Deep in my heart, in your heart, I know you have not forgotten

I know you have not forgotten me

The kiss, not just mine, but ours, when we were so young then
When all those who do not understand us were gone away
When we were just two alone in the living room
When we closed the door of the house one Sunday morning

(Because I was one lousy kisser!)

In my heart to set, you; fre...

Nothing I Do Tells Me The Sadness I Am/ Like The Poems I Have Not Written

Nothing I do tells me the sadness I am
Like the poems I have not written
The love I have not had
The great life yearning beyond my hands
All that I have done
Turning and turning in this life
Comes back to the place
Where all are alone
I would have known about the grave long ago
But I was young then
The true poems are poems of life
And only the chosen of God can write them
As I could not.

I Have Not Been (In Love (Decuain)

I have not been in love as just right now
and I have never been so much blessed
have not seen a golden eye that does glow,
have not been by anyone possessed
as to you my love I have professed
and during this late summer or our lives,
no greater true love I have expressed
and there is no one that more freely gives
than you from whom all of my blessings flow,
and no other women I do long to know.

Why You Have Not Heard From Me

You wish to validate your sorrows.
In a misery that loves company.
And you wonder why you have not heard from me?
I've been too busy living.
Freeing myself from an empathy...
You have become too dependent upon.
And unhappy you become,
When I do not express with you...
A grief we both can agree.
To feed a craving like an addicted need.
That's why you have not heard from me.
I'm sticking to my rehabilitation.

I Listened To God And Did Not Want To Die

I LISTENED TO GOD AND DID NOT WANT TO DIE

I listened to God and did not want to die
I wrote down what I felt inside-
God helped me in so many ways
God helps me now-

Without God I would not know what to be-
Without God I would not write-
Without God I would not have been born-
Without God there is no use of my ever thinking or speaking about anything or anyone-
Without God
My world just does not exist.

I Have Not Written A Poem For Days

I HAVE NOT WRITTEN A POEM FOR DAYS

I have not written a poem for days
For days I have not written a poem-
And my heart and my soul
My whole being
Longs for a poem.

But is this a poem?
Or am I nothing
But an unending babbler?
A word- struck fool?
A maniac in endless search of meaning?

While all around me,
This sunlit winter green Jerusalem Beauty,
I cannot say -

And as I stop to write,
Do not even now behold.

Still I have not died, and still am not alone

Still I have not died, and still am not alone,
while with my beggarwoman friend
I take my pleasure from the grandeur of the plain
and from its gloom, its hunger and its hurricanes.

In splendid poverty, luxurious beggardom
I live alone - both peaceful and resigned -
blessed are those days and nights
and blameless is the sweetly sounding work.

Unhappy the man who like his shadow
quivers at a bark, is scythed down by the wind,
and poor the man who, half alive himself,
from a shadow begs for charity.

Have Not Forgotten

Love can be so sweet if in the heart is the innocent gesture of love. Beauty of accepting love as a smile can teach how love can be based on smiles. If words are expressed with a true sense of love then this feeling lasts. I loved her so much and did try to solve her troubles with the strength of my love. However, I could never make her mine completely. Do not leave me because I have not forgotten you. Still I love and forever will, even though you may hate me. Hate is not the end since love has to be with us till the very end.

I Have Not A Choice

I cannot breathe, I cannot sleep;
I have but one more promise to keep,
To MY King of Kings, Lord of Hosts:
To TRULY covet the ONE I love the most,
In all the ways I promised I would,
And for all the days I KNOW I should,
To PROVE to the world it is FOR His Good-
This is the purpose He Divined I could
Stay upon this Earth, to do;
Beloved, I do so very much, love you!
All you shall ever want, all you shall ever admire-
THIS then becomes my every Earthly desire:
To provide same, to you, and for you-
I have not a choice-I do so very much, adore you!

An Apology To The Reader Who Has Written Me A Message I Have Not Answered

AN APOLOGY TO THE READER WHO HAS WRITTEN A MESSAGE TO ME I HAVE NOT ANSWERED

The real apology is not this poem
It is one by one
Reader by reader
Answering each one
Who has ever written me.

It is reading all the poems of others
I do not want to say
A ‘real no’ or a ‘false yes’ to.

It is opening myself
To perhaps a true friend
To perhaps one whose writing
I see better than my own.

The real apology
Is in opening up to the poems of the many unknown others.

Will I do this
Will I give it the time
When I already am guilty
Of not using my limited time
To correct my past work?

Dear Reader,
I apologize, I do not know.

To All Those Whose Poems I Have Not Read

TO ALL THOSE WHOSE POEMS I HAVE NOT READ

To all those whose poems I have not read
Who have said a kind word about mine-
I apologize

I simply am too selfish
And do not want to give the time-

I too do not want to lie
What if I do not like your poem?

And also I do not want to recognize
So many ‘equals' when I am after all to myself ‘the poet'-

An apology is of course not a real answer
Perhaps I will try to do better in the future-

But I do feel badly about this-

Please go on without me
There is a big world out there
And many listeners who hopefully
Will give time and attention to your poem
As I have regrettably not.

wilma and I have not

wilma and I have not always se
en eye-to-eye, whereas eye could
not fathom the times where we ever
agreed upon anything outside of what
color her hair might have been if she
decided to dress up like a whore and
rap(e) my doorb_ll wearing nothing
more than a overcoat, dripping from
the rain, with her mascara running
around her cheeks like a racoon
forcing me to commit mutual bestiality
with her animal instinct and my animal
scent pouncing up and down upon her
while her face is pressed in the pillow
while her hips are placed in the air, while
her flatulent loins kisses my harsh pen(is)
etration during our inconsiderate love
affair, here on her husband’s bed, or was
it my bed and {she} was really the one
romping like a sex-craved convict on a
dirty pale moon setting

The Words That I Have Not Written

for the words i have not written
i accept i have been a coward
the moment these words become transparent
in my mind, i always tell them gently
i have not the strength to write you
you have become subjects beyond
my power and please understand
the consequences of having to write
all of you: waiting to be printed and read

like the Sphinx and its riddle before
Oedipus, if i were to write all of you
i may be able to save a kingdom in distress

but please understand what happens to me next
for like Oedipus i may be compelled to pluck my eyes out
from my face
and i may roam the earth begging for forgiveness
throughout my life
because i have been blind by fate for all those years

writing you is honesty
and it is this honesty that may at the end kill me
and so
i am very sorry

Have Not

Some people have not a worry;
Some people have not a care –
As to money, or where they’ll sleep
Or what they’ll eat or wear…
some people take it for granted
Their luck in all these things;
Some people have not that privilege –
For some people have not anything.

Some people have not a worry;
Some people have not a care –
’Cause they’ve always had a place to call home
And a filling meal to share…
Some people think this is normal;
Some people have never thought
That for others it’s not normal at all –
’cause some people have nought.

Yet money can’t buy happiness;
Or peace of mind maintain
Some of the happiest people
Have not a penny to their name.
Can’t put a price on happiness
Where would you even start?
Peace of mind is priceless
But now I have not even that…

Though I Have Not Met You

Though I have not met you, I know you three still the same;
More in common with your Mother than merely her last name!
I see you in the words of praise she has for you;
The pride she has in abundance-there is always more too!

You are each so very talented, such gifts you offer-
The lives you touch every day, just parcel to your proffer!
Perchance not, I may be so blessed as to soon meet you,
Then only, may I know your true beatitude-as I greet you!

Still too, you know not me, this though, stands to alter-
You may conjure expectations-I hope to never falter!
May you find in me: a friend, confidant and one who nurtures-
Perhaps you will embrace me further, as our kinship matures!

My recompense may not befit this gifting, yet, still I undertake;
All of my time, love and attention is the promise I make!

They Have Not And Will Not Know...

You don't have to 'B'
Somewhere to 'B' yourself.
Wherever you are,
Is where you 'B'.
Doing 'that' which you 'Is'.

You don't have to go nowhere,
To say you 'R' who you 'Is'
You 'R' who you 'Is'
Wherever you 'B'.
Right 'now' where you 'R'.

Some believe the can not 'B' themselves,
If they are not where they should 'B'...
Being who they 'Is'.
Because where they 'R'
They can not 'B' who they 'Is'
So they think!
And they delay the 'trip'
To 'B' who they 'Is' where they 'R'.
Becoming intoxicated,
With excuses not to 'B' at all.

And I think who they 'B'
Really isn't!
'Cause 'if' they wuz
They would 'B' who they 'Is'
Wherever they 'R'.
But in their 'heads'
They have not and will not know,
When they have arrived!

And 'if' they do survive the ride...
Who is it will they 'B'?
They wont 'B' who they 'Is'.
Since the 'trip' will provide for them...
Another confusing quiz!
For them to 'B'...
Who they wish they 'Is'.

And no one will have the time,
To help them figure that out!
