Olivia Wilde

I think there was no other profession for me. I was either going into an insane asylum or to be an actor.

Insane

Somebody told me it was over
Nobody told me where it began
No one believes in you
I understand
Like a blind man
Whos lost his way
No one hears a word
Of what you say
I forgive you
Would you do the same
I would believe you
If only youd be true
I would believe if it were true
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane insane insane insane
I dont know where youve been looking
I think its only in your mind
Its tied so tight inside of you
All the thoughts unkind
I would believe you
If only youd be true
I would believe if it were true
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane insane insane
Insane
I would believe you
If only youd be true
Im getting older
And I cant escape time
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game

Funny Farm Frenzy

Welcome to the funny farm,
Let’s embrace in the steel embedded walls without harm,
Welcome to delusion, the land of charm,
Inside the walls is the realm of the most brilliant of men,
The schizophrenics, and the bi polars, everything torments them,
But inside the insane asylum, they escape from condemn,
The funny farm where you’re surrounded with laughter,
Through the air, the giggles are hidden beneath the rafters,
Constant delusion, from morning, afternoon and thereafter,
Manuscripts and portraits, the artistic minds inside the brilliant drafters,
The mentally ill the most creative of mind,
Inside the asylum, escaped from reality, their thoughts refined,
Inside the asylum, their life is left behind,
On the white walls where portraits and creative writing shine,
Without sunlight, they’re the creators of their own realm of divine,
Inside the white walls, in their delusion, their confined,
The funny farm where humor is their lifeline,
Welcome to delusion, the neverending dream,
Inside the asylum things are not what they seem,
To reality it’s a prison, to the patients it’s their regime,
But what happens when the walls blacken in the night?
The laughter fades and their humor turns to spite,
They crumble in the fear of darkness without the touch of sunlight,
And they realize something about them isn’t “right”,
Isolated from the world their trapped in the dark,
Only within the walls, is their adventure to embark,
Inside their asylum, a community of reality segregated apart,
Their lifeline, through vivid imagination they depart,
They cannot see the walls around them, it’s their everyday home,
Inside the closed doors, their only space to roam,
An everyday dream to separate from reality, the unknown,
But when the lights turn on, and the walls turn white, the asylum fills with glee,
The reality inside the funny farm, the walls they can’t see,
They open their mind to creativity and imagination where their free,
The most creative of the mind, the indulgence of the what reality can’t see,
Up and down inside the walls, the rollercoaster of the emotional cycle spree,
The novel written and painted inside the asylum, the neverending dream,
Beyond the walls where reality isn’t seen.

The Rosciad

Unknowing and unknown, the hardy Muse
Boldly defies all mean and partial views;
With honest freedom plays the critic's part,
And praises, as she censures, from the heart.

Roscius deceased, each high aspiring player
Push'd all his interest for the vacant chair.
The buskin'd heroes of the mimic stage
No longer whine in love, and rant in rage;
The monarch quits his throne, and condescends
Humbly to court the favour of his friends;
For pity's sake tells undeserved mishaps,
And, their applause to gain, recounts his claps.
Thus the victorious chiefs of ancient Rome,
To win the mob, a suppliant's form assume;
In pompous strain fight o'er the extinguish'd war,
And show where honour bled in every scar.
But though bare merit might in Rome appear
The strongest plea for favour, 'tis not here;
We form our judgment in another way;
And they will best succeed, who best can pay:
Those who would gain the votes of British tribes,
Must add to force of merit, force of bribes.
What can an actor give? In every age
Cash hath been rudely banish'd from the stage;
Monarchs themselves, to grief of every player,
Appear as often as their image there:
They can't, like candidate for other seat,
Pour seas of wine, and mountains raise of meat.
Wine! they could bribe you with the world as soon,
And of 'Roast Beef,' they only know the tune:
But what they have they give; could Clive do more,
Though for each million he had brought home four?
Shuter keeps open house at Southwark fair,
And hopes the friends of humour will be there;
In Smithfield, Yates prepares the rival treat
For those who laughter love, instead of meat;
Foote, at Old House,--for even Foote will be,
In self-conceit, an actor,--bribes with tea;
Which Wilkinson at second-hand receives,
And at the New, pours water on the leaves.
The town divided, each runs several ways,
As passion, humour, interest, party sways.
Things of no moment, colour of the hair,
Shape of a leg, complexion brown or fair,
A dress well chosen, or a patch misplaced,
Conciliate favour, or create distaste.
From galleries loud peals of laughter roll,
And thunder Shuter's praises; he's so droll.
Embox'd, the ladies must have something smart,

My whip is always beside me
You want the same thing every day

My love will drive you insane
Sweet pain, my love will drive you insane
And pain has got its reason
And if you dont stop your teasin, baby

Youll get your lovin anyhow, anyhow
And youll get to love me and my sweet pain
My love will drive you insane
Ahh, sweet pain, my love will drive you insane
Ahh, you get to love me any way I say

Pain has got its reason
You find it pleasin, yes you do, yes you do
And Im gonna show you now
Youll get to love it anyhow, anyhow and

Absolutely Bills Mood

I was born in a lighthouse, my mother was the sea
I crawled to school each morning, when it occured to me
That lifes just a mood ring were not allowed to see
And this is what it said to me
My room is comfortably small
With rubber lining the walls
And theres someone always calling my name
He calls when Im alone
And he calls when Im not home
And he calls when Im stuck out in the rain
Im insane
Im insane
Im insane
Im insane
Now listen all you swingers, dont you try to tag along
I know monkey see, but monkeys dead, for you it would be wrong
Put a dime in my jukebox, youll only hear this song
And it wont be fun for long
Because my room is comfortably small
With rubber lining the walls
And theres someone always calling my name
He calls when Im alone
And he calls when Im not home
And he calls when Im stuck out in the rain
Im insane
Im insane
Im insane
Im insane
Thank you
Thank you
My room is comfortably small
With rubber lining the walls
And theres someone always calling my name
He calls when Im alone
And he calls when Im not home
And he calls when Im stuck out in the rain
Im insane
Im insane
Im insane

The Galilee Hitch-Hiker

The Galilee Hitch-Hiker
Part 1

Baudelaire was
driving a Model A
across Galilee.
He picked up a
hitch-hiker named
Jesus who had
been standing among
a school of fish,
feeding them
pieces of bread.
'Where are you
going?' asked
Jesus, getting
into the front
seat.
'Anywhere, anywhere
out of this world!'
shouted
Baudelaire.
'I'll go with you
as far as
Golgotha,'
said Jesus.
'I have a
concession
at the carnival
there, and I
must not be
late.'

The American Hotel
Part 2

Baudelaire was sitting
in a doorway with a wino
on San Fransisco's skid row.
The wino was a million
years old and could remember
dinosaurs.
Baudelaire and the wino
were drinking Petri Muscatel.
'One must always be drunk,'
said Baudelaire.
'I live in the American Hotel,'
said the wino. 'And I can
remember dinosaurs.'

The Oldest Profession

Dress in sequence, wearing shoes of pretense
The Oldest Profession glides into view
With devoted help from the media
It invades our minds with all kinds of lies under the guise of protection

It is my personal election
The Oldest Profession does not care how things are done
As long as it is number one

It’s not prejudice against anyone
Many times it’s disguised as fun
It travels from coast to coast
And has the audacity to boast about it’s conquest

Dressed in sequence wearing shoes of pretense
The Oldest Profession glides into view

Now it’s horrendous acts aren’t always behind closed doors
Our children are taught about them in folklores

We glorify the horrors as we sit n our parlors and sip tea
From our childhood and up
We’ve accepted this cup of deceit and we repeat it to our
Love ones

Now the name has been changed to protect the game
But we the people are hip what’s going on
We know this profession does not belong in existence

This profession has destroyed life
Promoted chaos and strife
One thing it has never had and never will have, silence

The Oldest Profession in the world is not prostitution
It is Violence

Dont Ya Rile Em

Im seeing how boring it gets
Back where the sun never sets
And a day is really two days
I was feeling so tired inside
My eeys were stitched open so wide
It was making me kind of uptight
Oh yeah
All right
And the power man says
Dont ya rile em
Going asylum
Dont ya rile em
Going asylum
Tonight
Tonight
Ive been working my way back to sane
Its coming back to me again
Old navigational ways
Back in time where I belong
Theyre playing my favorite song
That whistling meteorite
Oh yeah
All right
And the power man says
Dont ya rile em
Going asylum
Gont ya rile em
Going asylum
Gont ya rile em
Going asylum
Tonight
Tonight

Asylum Earth

Frustrated I stood in front
of the God to Pray,
And asked him why lunatics
are increasing day by day.
Why there is scarcity
of people in a synagogue,
Why popping up of
Prozac is in a vogue.
Why people look as they
are coming from morgue,
Why all minds are clouded
by the depression’s fog.

Then, God appeared suddenly
with his mischievous smile,
And he started to speak
in his inimitable style:

“Son! this earth is nothing
but asylum of the universe
But for marketing my poets
described it in beautiful verse.
But most fools are the people
who claim to be wise,
And labors to turn this asylum
in a pretty paradise.
But thing which fills me
with a gaiety and mirth,
Is your construction of an
asylum within an asylum earth.”

“Do you know why this asylum
earth is devoid of joy and fun?
Because men who turned wise
are poisoned or shot by guns.
Unless and until you
immediately rectify your error,
This earth cannot be freed from
madness, anxiety and terror.
Benumbed by god’s answer
I immediately left his premise,
In order to prevent becoming
one more mad wise.

Actor Of Love

Hold on
I have found something I longing for
To fill the hollowness of my heart
But why I'm feeling more of sorrow

Before
I am the one who said: 'Oh, I'll control'
But now I realize you are my world
And it's waiting to break apart

I'm an actor of love
I'm trying to perfect
But I'm just fooling around

I'm an actor of love
I want to be your hero
But I've made myself a clown

I'm an actor of love
I need you by my side
But now you leave me alone

I'm an actor of love
I beg your forgiveness
But you refuse me so cold

Sometimes
We wonder why we should be together
Do we really dream of love forever?
Or we afraid to be alone

I'm an actor of love
I want to protect you
But I always hurt you bad

I'm an actor of love
I want to be your shield
But may turn someone you hate

I'm an actor of love
We kiss in the morning
But in night we have a war

I'm an actor of love
We care for each other
But we only circle round

If this love only makes me crazy
Take the story and just let it be
Tragedy or comedy

Mary Pretends

Mary pretends shes so insane, so insane, so insane
Mary pretends shes so insane, so insane, so insane
She just sits back and laughs at the pain
Laughs at the pain, laughs at the pain
Mary pretends shes so insane, so insane, so insane
Falling down of her mind
Gives her everything shes wanted from the world
Close her eyes, drift inside, so alive
She wants to know what it feels like
She wants to know what it feels like to fly
She wants to know what it feels like to die
Goodbye

Lets Get This Party Started

When its crying
Take me on second place
Which you dont often find
I see a family walking
Always thinking of
Being somewhere else in time
So I fall I fall face
In a rut
I cant seem to get out of
Please wake me
Please give me some of it back
The feelings I had
Sometimes I wish
I could be strong like you
It doesnt matter
Each time I wake
Im somehow feeling the truth
I cant handle
Lets get this party started
Im sick of begging you
You make me feel insane
Which I did to you
Lets get this party started
You make me feel insane
I want to be the one
To make myself sign
Time is ticking
It makes me feel content
With what I have inside
Constant paranoia
Surrounds me
Everyone I see
Is out to get me
So I fall I fall face
In a rut
I cant seem to get out of
Please wake me
Please give me some of it back
The feelings I had
Sometimes I wish
I could be strong like you
It doesnt matter

Suddenly Images Change

Too many now bending under heat,
Like drying crops.
Without a drop...
Of reviving fresh water.

Others would rather ignore their pleas,
And let them rot.
Like the weeding,
Of their wicked disorder!

Suddenly images change.
Those now in pain,
Are the ones...
Who chose to inflict it.

Suddenly they all seem insane.
Those who disdained,
Are now the ones...
Mentally conflicted.

Too many now bending under heat,
Like drying crops.
Without a drop...
Of reviving fresh water.

Others would rather ignore their pleas,
And let them rot.
Like the weeding,
Of their wicked disorder!

Suddenly images change.
Those now in pain,

Are now the ones...
Mentally conflicted.

Suddenly images change.
Like drying crops.
Without a drop...
Of reviving fresh water.

Suddenly they all seem insane.
Those who disdained...
Are now the ones,
Out-of-order.

Behind the Scenes

The actor struts his little hour,
Between the limelight and the band;
The public feel the actor's power,
Yet nothing do they understand
Of all the touches here and there
That make or mar the actor's part,
They never see, beneath the glare,
The artist striving after art.
To them it seems a labour slight
Where nought of study intervenes;
You see it in another light
When once you've been behind the scenes.

For though the actor at his best
Is, like a poet, born not made,
He still must study with a zest
And practise hard to learn his trade.
So, whether on the actor's form
The stately robes of Hamlet sit,
Or as Macbeth he rave and storm,
Or plays burlesque to please the pit,

'Tis each and all a work of art,
That constant care and practice means --
The actor who creates a part
Has done his work behind the scenes.

Asylum

Jimmy cream was keen, his brain wal always winnin,
I cant keep tabs on mine, its really quite a joke
I see him down the road, I ask if hed be willing
To lend me 15p - Im dying for a smoke
Dont arrange to have me sent to no asylum
Im just as sane as anyone
Its a just a game I play for fun - for fun.
I told em - look! - I said Im not the way youre thinkin,
Just when Im down, Ill be a clown, Ill play the fool.
Please dont arrange to have me set to no asylum
Its just a game I play for fun - for fun.
Will he take a sailboat ride?
He is very likely to,
Will he feel good inside?
He aint very likely to,
Will he tell you hes alive?
He is always trying to
But nothin, no nothin, does he say
In the morning when the days begun
- hello good morning, how are you?
And in the evening or the noonday sun
- what a lovely afternoon!
Well Ive been living next to you
Bluesy monday is the one day that they come here,
When they haunt me and taunt me in my cage.
I mock them all, theyre feelin small, they got no answer
Theyre playin dumb but Im just lauging as they rage
Dont arrange to have me sent to no asylum
Its only a game I play for fun
Ive been foolin everyone - everyone.
Will he take a sailboat ride?
He is very likely to
Will he fool good insidie?
He aint ever likely to
Will he tell you hes alive?
He is always tryin to
But nothin, no nothin does he vere say
In the morning when the days begun
- do you think it looks like rain?
And in the evening or the noonday sun
- you know I nearly missed my train
Well Ive been living next to you my friend
But what kind of friend are you?
Is it the beginning or the sorry end?
Will I ever see it through?
Ive never been insane
Oh whats the game?
I believe Im dying...
Hes mad, mad, mad...
Not quite right...

Am I Going Insane

Everybody's looking at me, feeling paranoid inside
When i step outside i feel free, think i'll find a place to hide
Tell me people, am i going insane?
Tell me people, am i going insane?
Every day i sit and wonder how my life it used to be
Now i feel like going under, now my life is hard to see
So tell me people, am i going insane?
Tell me people, am i going insane?
So i'm telling all you people, listen while i sing again
If i don't sound very cheerful, i think that i'm a schizophren
So tell me people, am i going insane?

Night In The City

Standin at the airport lookin down the strip,
She was cryin her eyes, she was bitin her lip.
Seven-four-seven just left from gate eleven
And theres no turnin round cos its just leavin the ground
And gettin higher higher.
Standin at the dock-side lookin out to sea
When I saw her but she did not see me.
There she stood with no hope because shed missed the boat
And as her dreams sailed away she headed back for the day,
Back to the city city.
Night in the city, o-o-oh,
Madness at mid-mid-mid-midnight,
Night in the city drivin you insane.
In the city city
Night in the city, o-o-oh,
Madness at mid-mid-mid-midnight,
Night in the city drivin you insane.
I was runnin kinda lonely at the city place.
I waited for an hour, I never saw her face.
Crazy ladies that wait and slide around like a snake.
I just cant take anymore, Im going in through the door
Into the city city.
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Ill get you, yes, Im gonna get you,
Drivin you insane.

Have You Ever Felt?

Sometimes I feel like the world is looking over my shoulder
I don't know why but I feel my patience getting shorter
I don't want to know
I don't want to feel
I don't want to be
I don't want to sound crazy
I don't want to sound insane
But I can't take the pressure
Have you ever felt the same?
Like you just need to run away
I don't want to sound insane
But I can't take the pressure
Have you ever felt the same?
Like you just need to run away
Away
The tension builds but I feel the walls are getting thicker
And then I still make believe that I am feeling better
I don't want to know
I don't want to feel
I don't want to be
I don't want to sound crazy
I don't want to sound insane
But I can't take the pressure
Have you ever felt the same?
Like you just need to run away
I don't want to sound insane
But I can't take the pressure
Have you ever felt the same?
Like you just need to run away
Away
I don't want to sound insane
But I can't take the pressure
Have you ever felt the same?
Like you just need to run away
