The Tiger
Trinity School girls' varsity soccer team won their first NY state championship despite some injuries to their best players.
With injured paw she spies the prey.
It's time to feed - she's come to slay.
Yet primal traits cannot convey,
her sense of destiny today.
The task is deadly - not for fun.
Could she actually be outrun?
But like a bullet from a gun,
she pounces and the deed is done.
