Thank You, With Love
Thanks is a word
So small and worn
On little smiles
It does adorn
A feeling and love
And compassion
And joy
And so today
I will employ
This innocent word
To be written to you
It may hit your ears
While passing through
I’ll send my love
In a form of a prayer
For thanks is, after all
A heartfelt affair.
