So I Can Smile Again
Show me the point of the surise
So I can trace my path to the point of the sunset
It pays me more this way in life
So I can never miss my path to success again
Show me the goodness of love
One by one, day after day
I could love all around, again and again
And see the goodness so great I‘ve come to realise
Show me the way to greatness
I would strive so hard
To make it so great on my own
Just with a guide or two from you my friends
So I can smile again
In all adversities and give thanks to you
The one most high above
See me so filled with life day after day
So I can smile again
In times of plenty
And struggle so hard in times of few
Step after step, I could build a lasting edifice you know
So I can smile again
And walk so majestically and gracefully
With all my achievements this far
Still hoping I could lend a helping hand when the need arises
So I can smile again
And walk up to you, my friends in Diaspora
With my hands so wide to embrace all
Peace is all we need and one world we must choose to remain
So I can simile again
After each blessing I receive from you, my Lord
Just can’t thank you enough
But a promise I‘ve made to be yours forever
